Chapt. 10
How could I have been so stupid as to let my guard down?!
Riku clasped at the dirt which just crumbled in his grip. There didn’t seem to be a way out of the earthen pit in which he was trapped in.
Riku had strayed from the main road that Zexion and Demyx were on in pursuit of someone that looked like himself; except when he caught up to the imposter he found the ground collapse around him.
He had been sitting in the hole for hours and now it was getting close to nightfall. Was he doomed to sit in this muddy hole forever while some pervert fondled a defenseless Sora?
No, it was worse than that…Some alternate-universe Organization members had something planned and Sora was going to be the center of their power-struggle.
“Dammit! Where the hell is that stupid guitarist and Zexion?!”
Riku knew that Zexion would turn on him as soon as possible, why didn’t he get a trustworthy travel companion? Riku stopped pounding on the sides of his prison and sat down in the darkness. He no longer could even see where the pit’s sides where, there was no moon. Riku decided to just listen to the sounds around him, that’s precisely when he heard branches snapping underneath feet: someone was walking near the pit!
“Hey!! Whoever you are!! I’m in a hole here, help me!”
He heard the rustling stop. He had the person’s attention!
“Whoever? Name’s Axel, got it memorized? I’d think by now you’d know my name…”
“Axel?!” The universe was playing some sick game with Riku, he now had to rely on Axel to save Sora? “Just get me out of this pit, we’ll chat later.”
“Ok,ok. I’ll help you…Or I could just grab Sora and spend the night with him.” Axel had a teasing tone in his voice but it didn’t stop Riku from feeling like he wanted to stay in the pit.
“What the hell is going on??” was the first thing that came out of Riku’s mouth. Axel smiled at the question.
“I’d kinda like to know too…. Last thing I heard Saix had Sora, but I tried searching the tower and no Sora. There’s someone else around….”
“Sora’s gone?!” Riku grabbed Axel’s cloak, “What do you mean ‘someone else’?”
“You know who I mean. Somehow all of us Nobodies were given a chance to exist again, but for some reason I have all my memories…It seems that I’m not the only one; Xemnas also has reappeared. I don’t really understand why a guy like that deserves a second chance…”
“If that guy touches Sora…I’m going to make sure that guy never comes back!” Riku felt like a fire turned back on inside of him. Axel seemed to feel his enthusiasm.
“Good, because I’ll need your help if we’re gonna stop him…However, there will be a fee for my help…” Axel looked at Riku, “Let me be with him for a bit, you know who I mean. I need to see him again you can understand can’t you?”
The image of Sora staring sadly at Axel’s weapon came into his mind. As much as Riku hated it Axel had almost as much claim to Sora as he did. The cheeky red-head had charmed his way into both Roxas and Sora’s heart and wouldn’t go away.
“I do. But Sora’s coming back with me, understood?” Axel nodded sadly.
“I think we should continue in the morning when we can see and figure out exactly what his plan is,” Axel lit a fire and lay himself down on the grass.

“Well here we are!” Demyx glanced up at the tower… It was very quiet.
“Hmmm. If Sora was really being held captive up there wouldn’t he yell to us or something? You ARE extremely loud…” Zexion looked around. There didn’t seem to be an entrance to the tower…
“How observant you are…I suppose it would be fruitless to question you seeing as you both seem to know nothing”
Demyx and Zexion turned around to find a man in robes and long blue hair behind them.
“Saix! So you were up to something!” Demyx snarled at the man.
“I see Marluxia sent his pet…How is the pretty little lord? Still the same narcissist?”
“Shut up! It’s all that stupid Vexen’s fault!!! He was certain you had the key…”
Saix laughed, “ ‘had’ is correct…Somebody decided to snatch it up”
Riku already got Sora? Zexion wondered how he had managed to get up the tower so fast.
“Good! Now I can get back to Lord Marluxia!” Demyx grinned and started to head back carrying a protesting Zexion in his arms.
“Wait. I didn’t say I was going to let the two of you go.” Saix raised his arm and encaged the two in the earth that shot up, “You must know something…You said Vexen was curious about my activity, was this him?!”
“Ha! You’re not keeping anyone anywhere!” Zexion yanked himself away from Demyx and started trying to smash the earthen walls.
“My love! Don’t strain yourself. If we tell you what we know will you let us go?”
Saix smiled. “Why of course…I wouldn’t unnecessarily torture you two, at least not now.”
“It was Riku. He ran ahead of us and we lost track of him.” Zexion looked like he was going to kill the blond. What the hell did he think he was doing?? If Demyx thought that he was protecting him he was screwed-up. Zexion hated the thought of people thinking he was indebt to someone.
“Riku? That stupid boy Sora was prattling on about? Hmm, let’s see how far he gets…” With a smirk the blue-haired sorcerer vanished.

Sora looked over to his companion. Riku seemed to be acting differently but Sora wasn’t sure if it was just because of the strange circumstances or what. Riku said he was leading Sora to safety.
“Riku? Are you mad at me? I’m sorry about before…” Sora blushed slightly remembering how he’d been thrown into and ravaged by Riku. It still made him a little embarrassed that his friend had seen a whole other side of him.
“It’s alright, Sora. You didn’t do anything wrong. It’s all Saix’s fault”
Sora looked at Riku. How did Riku know it was Saix? His captor was almost never in the tower and Riku saved him without bumping into the man. Roxas seemed to be trying to warn him….But shouldn’t he trust Riku no matter what?
What if it isn’t Riku?
“Riku, I know this is a weird question….But…are you really Riku? Are you my Riku?”
Riku turned around and gave a smile, “Of course I am. Why do you think I spent all that time to rescue you?”
The answer only slightly comforted Sora because Roxas kept screaming away in the back of his mind to run away from the imposter.
“Uh… Where are we headed anyway? Did you figure out where we can go to get back to Destiny Island?” Sora had been following Riku for what seemed like hours and he was getting a bit tired doing all this walking after being locked and starved in a tower…Speaking of starving…
Riku quickly turned around to find his companion collapsed on the ground.
“Sora! Sora, are you okay?”

Sora found himself face to face with a very angry-looking Roxas.
“Roxas, you look so angry is something wrong?” Sora asked innocently.
“You always screw up!!! I’m taking over now!”
Sora cocked his head to the side in confusion, “You can do that? I don’t believe you..”
“Sora, it’ll be better for the both of us, ‘kay? I’m sorry I have to do this….” Roxas looked away from Sora’s extremely confused expression. It was then when Sora noticed Roxas seemed to be disappearing and chains were crawling on the ground like snakes.
“What is this?!!” Sora screamed as the chains seemed to be chasing after him and finally caught up. One grabbed his leg, forcing him down to the ground while the others attacked his other thrashing limbs.
“Roxas!!! What is going on?!” His voice got choked off by a chain wrapping around his throat.
“It’s just to make sure you’re subdued while I’m in control. It’s only going to be for a little while, I promise you….” Roxas didn’t like the feeling that he had betrayed Sora . He justified it with the thought that he was going to be the one to get them out of this mess and that he was doing this to protect his alter ego.

“So what do we do now?” Zexion asked. He wasn’t sure why he cared what the stupid blond guitarist next to him thought; maybe the idiocy was rubbing off on him.
“We should go back to Lord Marluxia! He’ll make everything better again!”
Zexion sighed and threw his head down into his lap. Demyx really was an idiot…An idiot with absolute faith in Marluxia and Zexion thought that made him even more pathetic.
Demyx saw Zexion’s pose and decided to go cheer the silver-haired boy up.
“Hey birdie, I’ll make you something delicious when we get back… Then we can announce our engagement and then engage ourselves in disorderly conduct afterwards, doesn’t that sound fun~?” Demyx spoke in a sing-song voice uncomfortably close for Zexion’s tastes. The blond decided that while he was close he might as well make use of it so he leaned down and kissed him.
Zexion turned bright red at the contact and just sat there, stunned. Of course the blonde took this as a sign to continue.
“W…wwwhat the !@#$%?” Zexion regained control a little too late. Demyx was already on top of him diligently making marks on his neck. This was the moment when the two turned around to see they had an audience: a very surprised Riku and Axel.
“Wow, I leave you guys alone for one day….”

Overall, this is a nice story. A wee bit odd at times and funny (ZxD) but overall a good story. But I have a feeling that was Riku in the last chapter. Saix did something too him and Roxas probably knows it's not Riku. Poor Sora. And I'm with Roxas: WHERE'S AXEL! lmao!

love you worlds... my friend let me borrow KH and I just finnished it, took me 3 days! Loe your story, hope to see more of it soon.
Me: I know, it was WAY too short!!! I love Tetsuya (yeah, I'm on a first name basis with KH II's director) but he could have improved on some stuff. A way to make it longer and get a little confusing movie clip is to complete the journal (not fun. Sephiroth killed Sora again and again and that made me sad). It's my vacation and I have some (A LOT) of free time so I guess count on more stuff or at least until I feel like sleeping is a better use of time.
HOWEVER....Please keep reviewing!!!!! PLEASE????? Who knows, your comments may have an impact on the story or just inspire me to make it better!
