“the two Qiaos, its breakfast, come in and sit.” said Cao Cao.
Xiao glances at her sister questioningly, Da shrugs in reply.
The sisters sat beside each other. “you’re properly wondering why you’re here.” Cao asked softly. “you see. I’ve built this tower for the day I wed the most beautiful women.” said Cao, Da was beginning to get the picture.
“for years I have been friends with your father, the duke, he promised his daughters to me, but Ce & Zhou Yu claimed them before me. you.”
Said Cao, “now, I simply got you back. You shall be my wives and my desires shall be complete.” said Cao Cao.
“you’ve kidnapped us?” asked Da, “yes, the night I came to mourn Ce,” replied Cao. “ewe.” Xiao shows her disgust. Cao Glares, “for all I know, Da, is a widow, there’s no point in being a widow for the rest of her life while she’s so young and Beautiful.” said Cao. “nevertheless we are married, and Da must care for Ce’s children, she loves him dearly and there’s no way she’d give herself for the sake of your desires!” said Xiao. “so would you please escort us back? Your actions might lead wars.” explained Xiao. “you are my wives. You will be. Once I get rid of Zhou Yu’s puny army i’ll wed you both in this tower. Forcefully if I have to.” . The sisters are too sick to eat. “Zhou Yu.. He’s rescuing us?” asked Xiao, “he have heard, he’s furious and possibly reckless. There’s no way he’d could crush my army, for I, Cao Cao, had build the greatest army in China. Even better than Sun Ce’s”
“Sun Ce was foolish & reckless, for he can not match me.” Cao went on.
Sun Ce… Da was thinking a lot about him lately.
Memories, moments, sayings he’s fond of.
It was just yesterday when he was making fun of her book, only yesterday when he said..
“do not take such foolish chances!”
Da said that out loud without noticing.
“pardon?” asked Cao, puzzled.
“I won’t take such foolish chances!” Da declared, copying Ce, his humble voice, raising her arm, pointing a fist at Cao.
“I won’t marry a scum from WEI. I belong in WU, my loyalty lies there, whether I’m here or elsewhere.” said Da. Saying some kind of a rhyme in her line.
Cao, surprised by her attitude, calling him a ‘scum’ at will.. He was shaking with rage.
A soldier came in just in time. “Master, WU’s army is only a day away.”
“Hmm. Prepare to leave. we’ll attack first.” Cao shot the Qiaos with icy glare then left with the soldier.
