Chapter 9
Lindsay Falls! Tragedy Begins
Hellblaze laughed “Is this all you got? I expected more from you. This fight Is worthless.”
Evilmon got up. “I’m far from over with this fight, dragon! I will kill you, your friends, and Soldjermon!”
“Why do you have a grudge against your sister? Is it because you want revenge? No. I see it in you. You are pure evil..”
Evilmon just remembered something. “You're telekinetic, right?”
“What about it?”
“If you can see the future, then who will win? Will you or any of your friends die?”
Soldjer wanted to know as well. X and Axl wanted to know too. They know Lindsay can predict the past, present, and future.
“Heh. Do you really think I would want to tell you that. The predictions I get are kept. Only time will tell when we living souls die. It’s just a matter of time. But I can tell you this.” She said.
Everyone listened carefully. Zero and his son were listening as well. What could she mean? Is it true that she will die? No Lindsay! You can’t die! I won’t lose another! The nightmare just kept coming back. Zero knows this too well. It happened 10 years ago. He killed his only love he had in his life, Iris. She was the Colonel’s sister and he killed both of them when they were labeled maverick. As the years passed Zero knew he would have to move on, and he did. When Lindsay awoke from her 150 year slumber in a capsule same as Zero’s. Dr. Wily, their creator has brought her back from the grave. She was his partner although the two didn’t get along well. They both had a crush on each other and now the two are mates for life and have a son. Zero didn’t want her to die so soon. He never wanted to see another love of his dies.
Hellblaze knows that it’s her decision if she wants to die. Seeing Zero having lost a love before will make him depressed again if she dies. Should I really die? She looked down to Zero and her son. My family. The only one I have left. She turned toward Evilmon. He will die as of now. I will not allow him to live and harm the planet or my family!
Evilmon smirked. I got just the attack. He started to take form of a vampiric dragon.
Hellblaze growled. “Shape shifting?”
Evilmon laughed in his form. “Indeed. Did you really think that I’m not the only one to turn myself into a monster? My sister is can turn into one as well.”
“So what. I can still destroy you in that form. And don’t think your vampiric abilities can control me.”
“I don’t intend to.” He attacked her. If he can’t fight her while in his normal form, then there’s only one way to fight a dragon. Get another monster.
The forest was being stepped on like twigs as the two fought. Hellblaze kept dodging his moves while he attacked her. The earth was shaking with a force of an atomic train wreck as animals were either running or being stepped on and killed by the two. He fired his attack again at her. She stumbled back. “SROOOOOOOAAARRRR!!” She roared in pain as she regenerated again. Evilmon bit back a snarl.
“You just can’t give up, can you?” He sees something on her back that is very visible. What the? A scar?
Zero saw what he was looking at. Oh no! He sees her scar! “Treble!!”
Treble roared in question.
“Take me to her now!” he said.
“But Zero..” said X.
“Take me to her now Treble!!” yelled Zero.
“Take him to her Treble. I’ll stay here and keep an eye on their son.” Said Bass. Treble roared as Zero jumped on him and they took off.
Hellblaze roared in pain. Blast it! He took off my arm! Her back was to him but she didn’t notice that he saw her scar on her back.
“LINDSAY!!!” shouted Zero.
Zero..? She looked to him. He was on Treble.
“LINDSAY! HE’S GOING TO ATTACK YOUR SCAR!!”
“Pesky hunter!” Evilmon shot a beam at Zero and Treble.
Zero fell and so did Treble. “Zero!!!” Hellblaze grabbed him in her hand then Evilmon struck! She was shocked. Hurrrkk... !!! I was... care.. less... huu... rrrkk!!! She passed out and fell to the ground with Zero in her arms as she transformed back.
Everyone saw what happened as Soldjermon rushed to them.
“NO SOL! COME BACK!” said X. Axl and Bass followed the two.
Evilmon laughed as he turned back to his orignal form. “Pathetic. You are so arrogant, even though you think you are invincible. Your scar is easily detected and I took you out with one attack with my blade. I’ll finish you off later and your mate.” He turned to Soldjer who arrived on the scene.
“Brother.. this time it’s my fight and will win. You will not destroy me.”
“Heh. I have beaten your friend here. Now it’s your turn to kill you for good!” He attacked her at full force as the two fought.
Lindsay layed unconscious on top of Zero as her back was reopened and bleeding heavily. Damn! I was careless!
Zephyer reached to his mother and father with X and Axl behind him. “Mamma! Daddy!”
“It’s alright Zephyer. They’re okay.” Said X as he heard them both breathing.
“They’re hurt. We have to get them back to base.” Said Axl.
“Easier said than done. We’re in the middle of nowhere and with no transportation. Treble needs repairs now.” Said Bass as he carried his injured wolf.
“Now what do we do?” asked Axl.
“We have to help Soldjer! If we don’t she will be killed like Lindsay said!” said X as he rushed toward the fighting.
Soldjer and Evilmon were throwing kicks and punches. Soldjer was nearly wounded and so was he.
“Try this on sister!!” He threw a ball of dark energy at her.
“Don’t think so!!” she sliced the ball as it exploded in half with her light energy. “Light defeats darkness!! You will die brother!!” she punched him hard.
“You are so stubborn as that woman! Why won’t you just die!!?” he punched her back hard as she fell to the ground on her hands and knees.
Soldjer wiped the blood off of her mouth. “Damn!” She was pinned down as Evilmon had his clawed feet on her back.
“Now sister. Time to die for good.” He lifted a hand.
Signas arrived at the scene. Crystal got out of the car as well as Robo Racer took his robot form.
“Soldjer! I’m coming!” he ran straight toward the site.
BMW, Winger, Delta, Astrol and Voyager came along right behind them. Crystal saw them. “Let’s hurry!” They all nodded and ran to the battlefield.
Signas saw what happened. He sees Lindsay and Zero badly injured, X, Axl, Bass and Treble were in worse condition as well when they tried to stop Evilmon from killing Soldjer. He ran to where Soldjer was and see Evilmon.
“Well, well. Hi Signas. Nice of you to drop by.” He said.
“Soldjer? Where is she?”
“Oh. She’s been eliminated.” He laughed as he pointed toward where her body was at.
He ran over to her and was in shock. She took damage straight at the lung. She was about to die but she was breathing a little bit. “Soldjermon!!” He ran and picked her up.
