Part 2


Signas was sleeping on the couch in the living room. Douglas was there to keep an eye on Leon since Signas was exhausted from all the paperwork. Leon was playing with the gadget that he made. Douglas wanted to prank some more on Signas since he didn’t do it for a while. He snuck up on him while he’s asleep. Leon laughed.

“Shhhh. Watch and learn.” He whispered. He wanted to do another prank on him, flipping his flap on his hat to hit his nose. He quietly went over to Signas and fiddled with the flap. Leon giggled as he watches Douglas playing with his father’s flap while sleeping.

Signas continued to sleep. He was exhausted from all the paperwork he did when he was absent from when Soldjer had her son and taking care of him.

Douglas continued to play around with his flap when.... WHACK!

Signas woke up immediately when the flap on his hat hit him on the nose. “OWWWWW!!!”

Douglas ran out of the room laughing. Leon was also laughing.

“Who did that!?” said Signas who’s now angry. He looked around the room and sees Leon laughing. He remembered now. “DOUGLAAAAAAAASS!!” He ran out of the room to go after him and clobber him.


Lindsay and Soldjermon were out in the city now and decided to have fun since they have been busy.

“Where do you think we should go?” asked Lindsay.

“Oh I don’t know. How about a arcade game?” she said pointing across the street.

“Arcades? I haven’t played those in decades.”

“Let’s go!” Soldjer said taking her hand and dragging her to the arcade.


Zero’s hand wandered on the bed. He doesn’t feel the warm body next to him. He woke up sleepily. “Lindsay, babe?” He looked around. “Lindsay?” He got up to look around his quarters. He could never sleep without her. “Lindsay? Lindsay?!” He doesn’t see her. He ran out of his quarters to find her in the headquarters. He knows a few places she can be at. He looked everywhere. “Lindsay..” he’s starting to feel down.

X sees Zero looking all worried. “You okay, Zero?”

“No, X. Lindsay’s gone. Do you know where she is?”

“No. I haven’t seen her lately.”

Zero sighed.

“Don’t worry Zero, she’ll be back.” He said patting Zero’s back.

“I guess.”


Lindsay was having a great time. She hasn’t played video games in years and is getting better at it again. She was the best at video games back 130 years ago.

“Wow, Lindsay. You’re really good.” Said Soldjer as she watched her play.

“Yeah. I’ve been good at video games when I was little 130 years ago.” She finished playing. “What else should we do?”

“Want to go out to eat?”

“Sure. I’m hungry anyway.” She sighed though. “Zero...”

“You still love him do you?”

Lindsay nodded. “Yeah.”

“Let’s get something to eat and I want you to tell me everything on how you met Zero.”

“Same with you.”

The two talked on their way to Country Buffet.


Signas went back his quarters and found Leon sleeping. He picked him up, put him in the crib and covered him up with his little blanket. He then noticed that Soldjer is not here. “I wonder where she went.”

Zero came in. “Signas, have you seen Lindsay?”

“No. I haven’t seen Soldjer either.”

“Oh no! It’s gotta be that they’re out on maverick hunting! Lindsay wanted to go out and fight along side of us and now she’s out fighting while pregnant with our child!” said a worried Zero.

“Your right! Same with Soldjer. Let’s go out and find them! Douglas!”

“Yes, Signas?”

“Look after Leon while Zero and I go look for our women.”

Douglas nodded as Zero and Signas ran off to go look for them.


Lindsay began telling her story.

“It began 7 years ago. I was awakened in an abandoned warehouse by two reploids. The van took me somewhere but I don’t know where. I began to panic and attacked and killed the drivers. I then took off to find my powers. They were in the Maverick Headquarters and I got them back. Soon after I was knocked out by a tranquilizer dart that X gave me.”

Soldjermon listened. “Tell me the part on how you met Zero.”

“I met him at the same time. He tried to come onto me a lot of times by being a womanizer.” She growled. “He did perverted things; such as flirting, touching my butt, licking my ear.” She sighed again. “But in the end... I did love him.”

Soldjermon smiled. Then a loud bang was heard and people were running and screaming. They both got up knowing that it was a maverick attack. “Looks like we got a job to do.”

“Yeah. Let’s go!” said Lindsay as she grabbed her sword.


Alia was reporting to Zero and Signas. “Sir! A maverick attack is at District 46!”

“I see it. We’re on our way.” Said Signas. Zero was with him. They both know a maverick attack is the signal for the arrival of Soldjer and Lindsay.


“Gwaaaaaahaahaaa! Die humans and reploids alike!!” said the maverick bot as he shot around the buildings. Humans and reploids ran out of the way. Some were injured.

“Hey you mortal!”

“Huh? Well, well. If it isn’t the maverick hunter.”

“You will surrender or be killed by our hands.” Said Lindsay.

“Gaaaaahaahaa!” the maverick laughed. “I’ll destroy you both!” he charged to them at top speed.

Lindsay and Soldjer got into attack stance and began their attack as well.


Zero and Signas landed and sees Lindsay and Soldjermon fighting a maverick.

“Oh no! If either of them get hurt, the child will get injured badly.” Said Zero who’s very worried.

“We have to stop them! You attack the maverick. I’ll get the women.” Said Signas.

“Right!” he dashed over to the battle.


Lindsay attacked the maverick but missed.

The maverick laughed. “Foolish woman.” He punched her in the chest.

“GAAAAAAHHHH!!” Lindsay said as she was hit.

Soldjer stabbed him with her saber.

“Gaaaaaaaahhh!!” he yelled in pain and knocked her off his back. Lindsay collapsed.

“Fools!” he gathered up his attack to strike Soldjer.

“No one hurts my woman!” said a voice.

“Huh!?” the maverick turned around but was sliced. “Y-You!!” He said for the last time as he blew up.

Zero landed right next to Lindsay, protecting her. Signas had Soldjer in his arms.

“Let’s go home.”

Zero nodded as they both teleported out and back to the headquarters.


Lindsay woke up hours later. She groans while trying to waking up. “What happened?” she said as she held her head.

“You alright?”

She looked up. “Z-Zero?”

He had a worried look in his eyes. Lindsay saw this and sighed. “I-I’m sorry. I-I made a very bad mistake.”

“Lindsay....”

“No! I disloyal you!! That’s not what a dragon like myself should do to it’s mate!!” she yelled as she held her head. She went out without telling him what she was doing, putting their child at risk.

Zero hugged her. “I’m sorry myself. I should have let you come with us, but I was strict. I made you stay here so you don’t get our child or yourself hurt.”

Lindsay hugged him and was saddened. “What.. about..”

“Lifesaver said it’s alright.” He said as he looked in her eyes and putting his hand on her stomach.

“Z-Zero..”

“Now then. For making up, do you want to have sex again? I bet you missed it.” He winked.

“S-Sure..” she smiled. She indeed missed his loving.

The two fell on the bed and kissed passionately and made sweet love.


Signas was also worried. Lifesaver said that she too is okay.

“I’m sorry. I just wanted to have fun and have a day off.”

“It’s alright honey.” He said as he wrapped his arms around her and hugged her. The two kissed and made love as well.

Leon was sleeping in the other room as his parents made love throughout the night.
