Moonlight Wishes

The pair remained quiet for the time being as Fayt’s fingers wove the long white ribbons around Albel’s long black hair. He stopped wrapping when he got to the blond tips, tying and tucking the ends off. Albel was still nude, while Fayt still had his towel around his waist, but soon took it off as walked away towards the bed. He dropped the towel in the corner and used the moonlight to find his way around to the knapsacks he had brought up with him earlier, opening one up when he kneeled down and rummaged around the inside. When he thought it was safe, Albel turned back around just in time to see the light reflex off of Fayt’s pale, moist body and the towel fall off. His eyes ran down, not being able to fully see, but got the jest of what Fayt’s nude body looked like right now. His throat went dry and he had to gulp for moisture, unable to move.

Fayt had found what he was looking for, pulling out a thin pair of cloth pants from the bag, then another pair. They were simple and native made, using a drawstring to keep them held up. Supposedly, they were used as a type of long johns for solders in Airyglyph since it was always cold there, but Fayt had taken a liking to them as more of a PJ pants. They were warm and soft, but not incredibly warm so they could be used for cool or warm evenings like these. Of course, as much as he tried, Albel never wore them. The man wore a sarong for the entire year in the cold nation, but he thought at least this time, Albel would consider covering himself up in front of his son. As he walked slipped his own on, Albel had already walked over to the empty bed, pushing the blanket aside to make a space so he could lay down.

Fayt sighed, holding the pants and sat next to him. “Here. I’m pretty sure Detrin doesn’t want to be traumatized by your…”, he stopped, seeing the cocked-eyebrow expression on Albel’s face. Fayt just sighed again, tossing the pants back over with the sacks. “Never mind”, he said, attempted to stand up again to move but Albel had grabbed his arm. The two men looked at each other for a moment, but it was Albel who made the move, leaning over to press his mouth on Fayt’s. Fayt remained still, knowing that it was his fault for even teasing Albel in the first place. With no response coming from Fayt, Albel pulled away, lowering his head a bit in shame and let Fayt go. “Not with the kid here…We can’t…” Fayt tried to explain, but it was falling on deaf ears. Albel had already been rejected yet again and turned cold. “Not like you would anyways”, was all Albel said, looking away. “Move. I’m tired and you’re in the way.”

Fayt ignored the threats, trying to be civil. “I didn’t mean that I…”, but Albel wouldn’t let him finished. “I said move”, he snapped, looking at Fayt with his red eyes flickering with intent to kill. Fayt narrowed his eyes as well. “Fine”, he said, standing up and went over to his pile of clothes. He didn’t have to play the nice guy all the time, and frankly, he could be a bastard too. He got dressed as quickly, not bothering to do up all the straps on his pants, boots, and shirt and left the room. In the heat of his rage, he slammed the door behind him, stomping off down the hall. Detrin woke up finally with a yelp, looking around the room in a panic and called out for his father. “Daddy! Daddy!” he yelled over and over, since it was too dark for him to really see. He started to cry, hugging his toy in fear of the loud noise and for a moment thought that his dad had left him. It wouldn’t of been the first time.

Albel sighed, kicking himself mentally, and got out of the bed, going over to Detrin’s and got in. “Stop it. Stop it. I’m still here..” he said, trying to sound like Fayt. He even petted Detrin’s hair and back, trying to calm him down. Detrin looked over at him, sniffled for a moment, then teared up again. He crawled over the blankets into his father’s arms, hiding his face on his chest and clung onto him. “Nnn”, he sniffled, rubbing his nose and tears on Albel’s chest. “Where is my nurse?” he finally asked, noticing the blue-harried one wasn’t around. Albel looked at him, then forced a smile. “He…went out..” he said, because he wasn’t sure himself. “He’ll be back though.” Detrin gave a nod, understanding and re-cuddled back on Albel’s chest, still sleepy. “I don’t like him, Daddy. I want a new nurse.” Albel snickered from his son’s words, continuing to pet Detrin’s black hair and back. “I didn’t like him either when I first met him, but now I do.” Detrin looked up at his dad again, already calmed from the affection. “Why? He’s mean! And he spanked me!” Albel gave a hearty laugh at that. “He spanked me too, but I deserved it. So did you. When we are bad, sometime people punish us. People like him. That doesn’t mean they are bad too…”, he tried to explain, but... Detrin didn’t really get it.
