"Nice way of putting it," Jack said from the door. "And while we're on the topic of adventure stories, we've got a bit of that for you, too. There's a big ship coming up on our aft side. And I get the feeling they're not the friendly sort." Riku and Elizabeth set their cleaning supplies down and joined Jack and Will on deck. Sure enough, a large ship was approaching. At its helm stood a man who, except for the part in his hair, resembled Riku in almost every way. "Ah!" Jack relaxed. "It's just our friend's twin brother." "I don't have a twin brother," Riku replied, staring at the man who so closely resembled him. "I've never seen him before!" "Riku!" the man called. "Lucky guess?" Jack.inquired. "Who are you?" Riku called back to the man. "My name is Kadaj," the other answered. "I've been looking for you ever since I felt you arrive in this world." "Why?" Riku wanted to know. "Did Maleficent send you to kill me?" "Who?" Kadaj wanted to know. "Riku, please, come. You can trust me. Come!" Riku looked into Kadaj's eyes. Eyes that were just like his in every detail. Then, he turned to Jack. "I trust him," he said. "If Sora comes..." Jack nodded and watched as Riku boarded Kadaj's ship. As the ship turned and left the Black Pearl, Kadaj turned and studied Riku. All at once, he cried out in surprise. "You're pregnant?! But how?!" Riku told him. "Your... heart?! But... that's not possible!" "What are you talking about?" Riku blinked. "Riku, don't you wonder why you and I look so much alike if we're not related?" "A bit," Riku admitted. "We are related," Kadaj began. "When Sephiroth..." "Oh no," Riku shook his head, "I am not Sephiroth's son!" "Of course not," Kadaj replied. "But in a way, you're close. You see, you have half of the heart that should have been Sephiroth's. I have the other. A gift from the Planet to me, Sephiroth's Heartless, and you, his Nobody." "But, that can't be," Riku shook his head.
