I do not own Fire Emblem, nor any of the characters from it. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
Sanaki?
An:// I am toning down the lemons to maybe every three chapters. I only did two Lethe’s and Ike’s in a row to get both ends of the spectrum. Also, this is unbetaed and I tried to correct it myself but it isn’t going too well, I only am putting this up because it’s been a while, check back in three days and hopefully there will be a beta chapter.
Also, next chapter I will respond to reviews.
It didn’t take as long as either had guessed, only a week to get from the base all the way up to Begion. They couldn’t wait, it had been five years since they had last seen the temple or heard the customs of the people. Since the beast king was due there, Ike was sure that everyone would be on their best behavior around Lethe and any other Laguz.
Still though it seemed as if Lethe was on edge, she was a little jumpy and was ready to attack at the slightest sounds. They were in the city, the bazaar was buzzing with anxious buyers and sellers. Everyone seemed to be looking over their shoulders at what was behind them. ‘I can’t believe it.’ Ike thought shaking his head. They were going to sign a treaty with a foreign nation that helped stop Daien in the last war, yet everyone seemed to still fear the beast king and his people. “Let’s hurry to the palace.” Lethe whispered before striding off down the streets.
Not bothering to question why she was going so fast, he didn’t have time with trying to keep up right behind her. It wasn’t long until she was sprinting off to the palace, Ike ran faster then he thought he ever could just keeping up behind her. She ran into the doors with her shoulders and Ike marveled as they flew open for her. “Hello Ms. Sigrun.” Ike greeted as he ran pasted the stunned women. “STOP RUNNING!” Much to his surprise she skidded to a halt. “Thanks….I guess. Why are you running so fast to get here anyway?”
Lethe looked to her traveling companion. “She is here…my sister. I must speak with her. Also I must report to my king that I have chosen my mate. Furthermore I have to tell the empress that there are some more of those monsters in the town.” Not waiting for a response she took off again.
“Did she say that there are those monsters in town?” Sigrun questioned. “Come with me, we are going to check in with the town guards, it would be faster if you rode on my Pegasus with me.” Ike didn’t argue with things that made sense, without another thought he ran to the stables and leapt on the horse right behind Sigrun.
They landed gracefully and talked amongst the solders, there was a small band of what appeared to be the monsters, a wandering group was not likely as they have trouble with movement. There was either a small base that they had near the capital or they were transported. Either case was very disturbing. “Commander Ike, may I ask for your assistance in this battle?” Sigrun asked with a pleading look in her eyes. Ike just mutely nodded and they marched out to great the unwanted guests.
~Lethe~
She was much calmer now, the presence of king Caineghis. The man always seemed to have that effect on you, just being close to him made you feel safe, that nothing could harm you. “I see…” He began taking a seat on a bench. The room was empty because of the request from the beast king. “You have chosen a mate, just not a full bread Laguz…how odd. Never thought you the type.” He joked. “While I am still hoping for more warriors.”
“If it is your wish I can choose a different mate.” Lethe replied in a sad tone.
“No, no.” The king replied. “You have chosen, and it wasn’t a bad choice. More Laguz are bound to mate with Beroic, we need to let the people know that these individuals have a place in this world, that they are not the half breeds that everyone shuns. Besides, the majority are still fearful of Beroics and have chosen to mate with their fellow Laguz.” Lethe had an irk. She knew that her sister Lyre has chosen a Laguz mate, it wasn’t Lethe’s place to guide her sister anymore, they were both adults but Lethe knew that her mother would side with Lyre and her Laguz husband.
“Sire, may I ask where my sister is now?” Lethe questioned. The beast king sighed and pointed to a door to Lethe’s left.
“She accompanied me on this mission, if you want to speak with her my retainers are in the other room. However her husband is absent and she will not take well to you choosing a male Beroic instead of a male Laguz.” Caineghis warned.
Lethe caught the hidden meaning, she would be shunned by her sister, and her sister in turn would return to Gallia to tell their mother and all the other villagers of what she has learned. She would be an outcaste forever. Yet she couldn’t stop her legs from leading her to the door that the king pointed to. It swung open and Lethe strode in.
The room was unoccupied except for her sister. She was a year older and a little shorter then Lethe and had brown hair instead of Lethe’s red/orange color. While Lethe was prettier then her sister, Lyre had a higher and bigger chest, and a firm backside. Like Lethe however she had a hourglass figure. She had clear blue eyes and a long black skirt that went down to her knees. She wore a tank top and looked to be only eighteen instead of twenty two. “What do you want Lethe?” Her sister asked in a sharp accusing tone.
“I wanted to say hello dear sister.” She stated with clear disgust on the dear sister part. “I came to wish you well on your choice in the husband department.”
“I don’t need your wishes to know that it will work.” Lyre then opened her eyes and gave her sister a sinister smile. “Unlike your choice in a mate mine will not die in this war. Beroic humans are far too fragile to survive too long…just wait until mother hears about all of this, she’ll have a field day…his disgusting scent is all over you sister.”
“As if I care what mother thinks about my choice in a mate. I just hope that you live happily.” Lethe then turned her back on her sister and walked back to the door. As she opened it she looked back one last time. “And his scent…is nothing you need to concern yourself with.” Lethe shot a challenging glare at her sister before turning her back on her and going to speak with Caineghis. “Sire, I was wondering if you have any other warriors to spare?”
“Why would you need to know?”
“We need help. We may be able to find out what is bringing these things to our world. However we need some other help. If we have found something then as you may have guessed it is swarming with enemy troops.”
“Very well, I shall give you what I can, however do not expect much, these attacks are becoming more and more frequent, we need many warriors at home. Also, many still despise the thought of working with a Beroic, much less then taking orders from one.” The king stated placing a hand under his chin. “perhaps if I told the units that I send that they are under your command they would be more willing to listen and if any of them…”
“King Caineghis.” A foreign voice interrupted. “We have a small force attacking the city. In there is commander Ike, I would like you to accompany me in this assault on the force.”
Lethe turned expecting Tanith but was surprised to see the empress Sanaki. She was older, about the same age as Mist. She wore a long sleeved blue shirt that buttoned up in the center. She also wore a long dress that covered all of her legs except for the slit on the outside that gave her legs more moving room. (Imagine a sword master from Sacred stones) “It would be an honor. I suggest that you go with me.” The king transformed into a giant and fearosous red tiger. “Ride on my back.”
Lethe couldn’t help but laugh as she watched Sanaki leap onto the kings back and wrap her slender arms around his neck, doing her best to get a tight grip. “did you already talk to the other Laguz warriors about helping us with the fight?” Lethe asked, Sanaki nodded and they were off.
(Because I am sooo lazy, I am not going to write a fight scene, if you do like those there will be more later in the story, just not now.)
Sanaki panted, a small portion managed to get past everyone and into the city. The Laguz Warriors managed to track them down and finish off the monsters before they could do much damage though. Sadly a large portion of fighters fell to the group of insurgents, despite their looks they were far stronger and faster. Also they showed a hierarchy, a leader seemed to be able to make a group of fighters do what he wanted when he wanted.
Ike couldn’t believe what he saw, the empress picked up a sword and swung with great experience, almost as good as Mia was. Compared to what she was now and the brat that he met back in the war were two very different people. This Sanaki was tall, elegant and graceful. She gave off an air of authority and every single fighter seemed to be empowered by her presence. Her face was slightly tan and she still had the same dark eyes. She stood up straight and her sword master outfit showed off her body. Like Lethe her chest wasn’t too big or too small, about a double B size.
Her face was very soft, everything about her face seemed to match. They blended perfectly together. “What is it Commander?” She asked smiling at him. “Do I stand out that much?”
“Just a bit.” Ike answered honestly. Sanaki laughed at his answer and seized his hand.
“Come to the war room, this will concern you as you are currently on a mission.” She said pulling him in the room. “Take a seat and wait, chances are that the others will be here any second. Speak of the devil.” She turned to the door and saw her Pegasus knight trainer come in.
“So Ike, what is going on between you and Ms. Lethe?” She asked, completely ignoring the battle that just happened. Sanaki turned with a big smile on her face.
“I don’t believe this is what we should be talking about.” Ike responded with his usual scowl.
“No it really is.” Another deep voice called out. King Caineghis took a seat across from Ike. “I mean she is one of my people, I think that I have the right to know what is going on between the two.” Ike sighed and sank deeper and deeper in his chair much to everyone’s amusement.
“This place is as weird as ever.” Ike muttered under his breath. Still they were laughing. “okay then should we start?”
“Fine, King Caineghis, I was wondering if you would take me and my people in to your country?” Everyone was shocked by the proposal. “As you can see we were just attacked and I think it would be best if two allies came together everything would be a bit easier to protect.”
“Well, your people did show great courage by continuing to fight despite they were outnumbered. Also they attempted to protect my fighters when they were cornered. Furthermore if we did combined our forces it would be profitable for defense but will cause turmoil, despite the war the two races don’t tend to get along well.”
“I…see your hesitation.” Sigrun began. “But there were loses on the Laguz side as well. When the people learn of this they will want revenge, we can help…they will also be surprised that Beroic were so eager to help them. This could help ease the tension between our two races.”
“They will make the wrong interpretations though.” Ike stated. “This fight was on Begion soil, wouldn’t they assume that they were just defending themselves and the Laguz were just fighting because of the orders of the king?”
“You are correct, at least my sister has an intelligent mate…not much in the looks department are you?” A voice called out from behind. “I assume that you are Lethe’s mate the way that her stink is all over you.” Ike then stood up and glared at the women.
“Silence Lyre.” Caineghis ordered. “The matter of your sister’s choice in mates doesn’t concern you, wait outside.”
“fine. But he is right, if you had not ordered this then I would not have come. I would have loved to see the weak and fleshy humans courage die as the revenants tear the apostle apart.” Lyre then turned and looked at her younger sister that stood in the doorway. “move.”
Lethe complied but whispered something to her sister. Lyre turned and pulled out her claws, Lethe ever cool didn’t seemed to be amused and didn’t flinch. “LEAVE LYRE! YOUR ATTITUDE ANDTONE WILL NOT BE EXCEPTED HERE ANYLONGER!” The beast king roared. “I think that I will be expecting you in the next few days. You are welcome so long as you can handle more Laguz like Lyre. We will accompany you to our territory in Gallia whenever you and your people are ready.”
“Thank you.” Sanaki stated with a polite bow. “Master Ike, I believe that you came here for a reason. What would that reason be?”
“Well. We are having trouble with our mission and were wondering if you could help us by giving us some reinforcements?” Ike looked directly into the apostles eyes, almost pleading without using any words at all.
“Of course. I can send an envoy with Sigrun, a few solders, Zelgius, Tanith and myself.” Ike raised an eyebrow. “I will be going because not only does it encourage the solders, but I could use the exercise.” Ike opened his mouth but Sanaki cut him off. “If you do not take me then I will not send the envoy of solders. Take me or take nothing.”
“I wasn’t going to object, just see when you would be ready to go.” Ike stated with an impish grin.
“My empress I must object.” Lekain began. “they are not us, the people will not like this in the least.”
“do you have a complaint with the way that I run my country?” Sanaki asked in an accusing tone. “Because if you do not want to go then you and the others like you can stay behind and risk another attack, I am doing this for the people that want to live.” With that the apostle stomped off and stood out on a balcony to address the people.
~back at camp~
Everyone was exhausted, they continued the assaults but didn’t venture over the five floors. Every day that they went out to rest the monsters would manage to come back out and they would have to deal with them again.
Still though Mia would drag herself out to the training grounds after the fight and practice. She continued to practice until her legs began to quiver under her.
After an hour she would fall onto the ground flat onto her back and relax for a while before bathing and going back to her tent for much needed rest. Today was no different, she came out after they charged and retreated. An hour later she was on her back panting for breath. The training field itself was destroyed, over the course of the month everyone spared and practiced in the same area destroying the grass, trees and even the dirt leaving what looked like creators everywhere, half of which were caused by Mia.
“Hey, Mia.” Ranulf stated as he came onto the practice field. “Can I ask you why you try so hard?”
“Why not.” She greeted with her usual sunny demeanor. “Because I am a women in swordsmanship. Hear that. MAN! SwordMANship. Most think because I am a women that I don’t belong here on the battlefield with a sword around men all day.”
“I am not sure if it is that…” Ranulf began. “Most girls that look like you are more interested in boys, makeup and other weird crap…your just different, something that most others haven’t seen or can understand.” Ranulf sighed. “After all, before you, I thought that most attractive Beroic women stayed off of the battlefield and wherever they stuck.”
“Attractive?” Mia asked blushing a little.
“Uh-huh…I said that out loud didn’t I?” Ranulf admitted. “oh well, it’s true.” with that Ranulf kissed her on the cheek and left to his tent.
An:// Thought I set up a future problem for Mia, I have a bit of a plan for her, Ranulf, and another person.
I made Lethe’s sister Lyre from what Ranulf said in a support conversaion. They don’t get along, she is liked more. I thought that she would hate Beroic because she is related to Lethe and Lethe hates them. Easy logic.
Two chapters and Ike will fight the black night. Any other ideas would be appreciated. The next chapter will be a little more Boyd and Titania in Crimea then anything else.
Shabaz- I can’t, they are going to have some issues with other guys, sorry. Oh, about the cosine, I’ll do that when this story is done, I will have to tone it down to get it on ff.net for teens.
Everyone who wants the gangbang, sorry but that will be the last chapter. I can’t see Mia and Nephenee happening any other time.
Anyway review as soon as you read this or my updates will be even slower. and if you want me to, leave a adress and I can mail the updates to you, just respond, not too hard.
Also, next chapter I will respond to reviews.
