"Me, too." said Shadow not looking back. Sonic smiled and raced to catch up with him. Sonic grasped his hand and leaned onto Shadow's shoulder. Shadow smiled at his lover as they continued to walk down the path that would take them to the house of their friends.

"Knuckles? What's..." He tried to say to his husband but he was already gone. Sonic and Shadow looked at the confused fox, but Tails just held his arm outstretched.
"Wonder what's wrong." said Sonic. Shadow grasped his hand and kissed it.
"He was embarresed, koi. We saw him as the uke." said Shadow looking in the direction the guardian ran in. Tails looked at the two and sighed getting off of the bed. "I should go apologize." he said getting his shoes on.
"We'll go too." said the two hero's following the fox out the door.

Knuckles turned around and saw Tails along with Sonic and Shadow crossing the wooden bridge. Knuckles turned around and as they approached the stairs. Not paying attention the Master Emerald it began to glow a bright green. Tails, Sonic and Shadow stopped at the steps and saw the glowing light. Tails eyes widened and shouted for his husband to look behind him and ran up the stairs along with the two hedgehogs behind him. Knuckles turned around and saw the Emerald glowing green then it faded into a bright white light.

Tails opened his eyes and starred at the ceiling. He was at home. Why? How? Tails stretched and his elbow hit something he looked to his left and saw Sonic and Shadow curled up on each other. Shadow open his eyes at a sharp jab he felt in his side and looked at Tails and smirked. Sonic shifted and awoke and starred at both of them. Shadow leaned down and gave him a kiss on the forehead.
"How did we get here? All I remember was that we were at the Alter and then a bright light and then blank." said Sonic sitting up. Shadow sat up as well holding the blue hero in his arms.
"What about Knuckles is he..." Tails didn't get to finish his sentence when they heard someone in the house like they were in pain. Sonic, Shadow, and Tails got up from the bed and headed out into the hallway and stopped at the bathroom as they peeked in and saw Knuckles hunched over the toilet retching into the bowl.

"Arghhh!" yelled out Knuckles reaching up and flushed. Knuckles looked to the side and saw all of the others glaring at him. Tails rushed to his side and helped him up and into the living room.
"Knuckles are you okay? You don't look so good. What happened back at the Alter anyway?" said Tails looking at his husband with concern. Knuckles lied back and and sighed. "I was a little embarressed at Sonic and Shadow catching us in the act. But that wasn't the problem. I thought back that we could be happy by now if we had a baby. I wished that we could. The Master Emerald heard my plea and granted my wish." said Knuckles looking at the three. They all stared at him wide eyed in silence till Tails broke it.

"Wait. You're saying that you're pregnant?" asked Tails looking at his husband with a blank expression on his face. Knuckles gave a half hearted smile and nodded. Tails looked at the two hedgehogs and gripped Knuckles into a hug. Knuckles was startled by the sudden attack and hugged his husband back. "Knuckles? We're going to have a baby?" Knuckles smiled and nodded. Confirming it true Sonic and Shadow smiled and gave the couple a 'Congratulations.'

"I can't believe that this is really going to happen again. I am so excited, and the best part is that it is ours. Ours! The sound of that is just exciting." said Tails as he helped up the Guardian and made their way to the living room. "At least all the presents from the baby shower won't go to waist."

Knuckles smiled half heartedly and sighed. Sonic looked at him. "What's wrong Knuckles?" he asked. "Nothing really. Just that I'm not sure if I am strong enough to handle this." Knuckles looked and Sonic.

"Yea you are right. I can do it. I will do it for us." said Knuckles looking at the fox who smiled back at him. "Now the only question is when I start to get more heavier who will watch over the Master Emerald?"

"You know Knux. There are some methods that you two can try to coax the baby out. You know sex is one of them." said Sonic taking a sip of his drink. Knuckles nodded and spoke. "I know. We've tried that, going out reading books, looking at sites. Nothing has worked. This chibi will come out when it's good and ready."

"I will take Knuckles to the hospital. Tails didn't want to be away from Knuckles but he needed to get his stuff.

"Kitsune. You go and get the stuff. I will see you at the hospital in a few minutes." said Knuckles holding on to Shadow. Tails nodded and kissed his husband as he and Sonic took off down the path that lead to the house. In the distance they heard Shadow give his cry and in the corner of their eyes saw a bright flash.

Sonic and Tails took off racing down the path. As soon as they saw it in eye range their pace quickened as they made an abrupt stop at the door. Tails unlocked it and ran up stairs to get the suit case as Sonic took the phone off the hook and started to dial numbers. Tails soon came back down the stairs to hear Sonic talking on the phone.
'You sure?'
'Okay. We'll call you. Thanks again. bye.' Sonic hung up the phone and turned around. "Ready? The Chaotix team are going to tell Big the Cat to watch after the emerald while Knuckles is in labor." Tails huffed a bit whinded and mouthed a 'Thanx' to the azure hedgehog. Sonic put his arm around Tails and pulled out another emerald from his quills and shouted, "Chaos Control!" and in a flash of light they were gone.

At the hospital they appeared in the lobby and looked around. "Sonic. Tails." said a voice. They turned around and there was Shadow sitting in a chair with a magazine. Shadow stood up and hugged his husband and looked at Tails. "He's in room 120, want us to go with you?" asked Shadow. Tails nodded as Shadow lead the way to where Knuckles was held at. When they came to the room Knuckles was talking to a nurse who kept telling him to remember his breathing excercises. When she turned around she smiled. "Nice to see you all again. He's doing fine, in labor. We're waiting for the Doctor to come in. We paged him and he should be here in a few minutes. Then we will go to the Maternity ward and get your new baby." Tails smiled and went to Knuckles' side and held his hand.

"Is this what you went through when you had contractions?" asked Knuckles holding onto Tails' glove. "I was asleep when all this happened." said Tails.
"Lucky." Tails smiled at him and kissed his hand. Then a knock on the door came and in walked the doctor from before.
"Heroes. It is nice to see you all again. I see you two have another one coming. Congrats. Let's get you to the ward and get you delivered." said the Doctor as Nurses came in and wheeled Knuckles away Tails along with Sonic and Shadow in tow behind him. "You may have to wait out in the lobby Mr. Prower. We will come and get you." said the nurse. Tails looked at Knuckles and gave him a kiss as they rushed through white doors. Tails stood there looking at the doors as Sonic and Shadow looked on at him. "Come on Tails. Let's go sit down and wait for the news of your new baby." said Sonic as he and shadow pulled Tails away to the lobby.

Two hours passed and no word from the Doctor or the nurses. "Sonic, Shadow, Tails. We came as soon as we heard." said a soft voice. Tails looked up and saw Amy, Rouge, and Cream some into the waiting room. "Jii-chan!" shouted Cream and ran over to him and hugged him tightly. Tails hugged back and smiled. "I am so excited that you are going to be a daddy soon. I can baby sit when Knuckles and you go look after the emerald." Tails smiled and nodded.
"We came as soon as the Chaotix Team told us. I can't wait to see the little one." said Amy as she sat in a chair with Rouge at her side and Cream sitting in her lap."Yeah. This one will be the first of a new generation of heroes." said Shadow.

"Mr. Prower." said a new voice. Tails looked up and it was the doctor. Tails as well as everyone else stood up and waited for the news. "He lost alot of blood, and is very tired. He will need bed rest for the next few weeks, but other then that Congratulations on your new baby boy, your husband has him and are in the ward waiting for you to come see him." The Doctor walked to the door and turned around waiting for Tails to follow him. Tails stood silently and starred at the Doctor as a smiled crept to his face. He turned around to everyone and shouted, "I'm a daddy! A DADDY you guys! Come on. You all come see him too." he shouted as he ran to the Doctor and to his husband. Everyone in the room cheered happy for the new arrival of the baby and followed Tails down the room where the Guardian and the child was held. As the doors opened everyone saw Knuckles holding the baby and smiled at the group. He was a little two tailed fox with spikes on the end of his fists, and his fur was a brown color with red high lights. His eyes a deep purple.
"Knuckles! He's beautiful. What is his name?" asked Tails. Knuckles thought for a moment.
"Hoshi." said Knuckles. Tails smiled at the name and kissed Knuckles on the head. "Star. Because he's our little shinning star, right love?" said Tails looking at Knuckles. "Right."

Everyone in the room gave out a 'Congratulations' as the two kissed lost in the joy that they shared.

Sonic looked at Shadow and smiled. "You do know we're next?" said Sonic gripping Shadow's arms around him who was holding his stomach. Shadow just nodded and smiled.
"So are you saying that you two are next?" said Amy with an eybrow raised. Sonic nodded with a blush and another cheer ran through the room. "So why don't you two step into the office right across the hallway and we'll see how far along you are." Sonic smiled and tugged at Shadow's arm to go with him.

After awhile Sonic came back out with the Doctor and Shadow right next to him and a big smile and said, "I'm three months pregnant." he siad and everybody along with a baby cooing congratulated the couple. "So if I need some advice on what to expect can Shadow and i come over?" asked Sonic to Knuckles and Tails who smiled and nodded right back.

"Thank you guys for giving us some time to talk" said Shadow who sat down on the couch along with Sonic. "No problem. "Yeah, that has happened to both of us in fact. I know I didn't feel worthy of him when I was pregnant and he felt the same way..." said Tails smiling

"But we reassured each other that it didn't matter to either of us, and we went right ahead and made love. After that we didn't have a problem no more." said Knuckles leaning down and kissing his son on the head as the two walked out of the room leaving the door adjar, and went down stars to join their husbands.
After awhile of visiting Sonic and shadow left and headed home.

"If he is anything as wild as you, we are going to have one little chaotic hedgehog on our hands." said Shadow as he smiled at his son. "Our little Chaos." said Sonic
