Babe

Demyx stuffed the empty pizza box into the trash can, "Well guys, I'm gonna get goin'. I'll see you tomorrow at," he glanced from side to side, "work," he whispered while making a reluctant face.

"Yeah, sure," Axel replied.

"Don't stay up too late you two," Demyx remarked.

"We'll try," Roxas teased with a smirk.

"Eww," Demyx shuddered but with a grin, "Dude, don't do that. You know it's still weird for me."

"But that's why I have to do it now. Once you get used to it, it won't be any fun," Roxas slightly stuck his tongue out from between his grin.

"Yeah, I've got great friends. They're real sensitive," Demyx said rolling his eyes.

"Tsh. Says the man who threw a box of doughnuts at his gay friends and ran," Axel reminded him.

"Yeah, yeah. I know. I'm a dumbass. Must you rub it in?" Demyx sighed.

"Yes," Axel nodded and made his face very serious, "I really must," he grinned cheesily.

The taller blonde crossed his arms childishly, "And I didn't throw them. I dropped them out of shear horror," he said sticking out his tongue.

"Oh, that's so much better," Roxas replied sarcastically.

Demyx crinkled his nose at the other blonde, "Alright, well I'm outta here. Catcha later," he said as he opened the front door.

"See ya," Axel said.

"Be safe," Roxas shouted as the door closed.

"So, what do we do now?" Axel asked.

Roxas stretched and yawned, "Well I'm tired. I say we hit the hay."

"I'd like to hit something," Axel said as he looked Roxas up and down.

"Excuse me?" Roxas smiled.

"You're excused," Axel mocked.

"Well fine then. If I'm excused, I'm going to bed," Roxas turned to take his leave.

"Mind if I join you?" Axel asked as he tried to look enticing.

Roxas stuck up his nose in a joking manner, "Yes. I do."

"Aw, buh I need my wittle Woxas teddy beawuh to faw asweep," Axel said while making a pouty face.

"Hmmm," Roxas thought for a moment, "You promise just to sleep and not try anything frisky?"

"Che. Me? Frisky? Please," Axel pretended to be insulted.

"Well, I guess," Roxas said as he eyed the redhead suspiciously. Axel followed the blonde into the bedroom and watched as he stripped down to his boxers. Roxas turned to face a fully clothed Axel, "Uh, aren't ya gonna get undressed," he asked confused.

"Nah, I'm enjoying the show," Axel resumed his lecherous stare.

Roxas sighed and rolled his eyes, "You pervert," he pulled back the comforter that covered his twin sized bed and crawled in. Axel finally started to undress, "See, I told you Axel."

Axel looked up from pulling his pants off his feet, "Huh?"

"I told you, you didn't have to worry about Demyx. He came around in the end. Just like I said."

"What? Are you bragging?" Axel asked.

"Huh? No. I'm just saying you didn't need to worry, is all," he shrugged.

"Yeah, ok. But Demyx was kind of a given. What's gonna happen when we tell everyone else? Our other friends. Our families," Axel sighed and sat down on the bed, now in just his boxers.

Roxas didn't reply for a moment, "Yeah. That is gonna be hard. If only they could all walk in on us. Heh," Roxas half smiled.

"Yeah. It'd be a lot easier than, 'Hey everyone! Guess what?! Me and Roxas are gay and we fuck each other in the ass!'" Axel sighed.

Roxas cocked an eyebrow in shock, "Uh yeeeeah, I think I should probably do the talking. While your way leaves little to be misinterpreted, I think it could be just a tad more subtle," he said while making a pinch-like motion with his fingers.

Axel laughed and laid back on the bed, placing his hands behind his head, "Yeah, you're the brainier of the two of us. I think you'd choose better words, babe."

Roxas bobbed his head back in surprise, "Did you just call me 'babe'?"

Axel rolled onto his side to face Roxas, "Yeah, babe? Why?"

"Heh, uh, I dunno. It's just weird."

"Well, why's it weird, babe? I always call my girlfriends 'babe'," Axel said.

"Would you quit saying, 'babe?' And I'm not your girl-friend," Roxas stated.

"Yes, I know. You're my boy-friend," he emphasized, "The one with the dick that he likes to use every now and again," Axel mocked.

Roxas snickered and narrowed his eyes, "Well at least you've got that part down. But wouldn't that make calling me 'babe' a bad thing? Considering how all your other relationships turned out?," Roxas asked.

"Mmm, no. I don't think so," Axel scooted closer and spooned with Roxas, "See, those were all girls and you're a booooy," Roxas rolled his eyes, "Plus I think that my use of 'babe' was just waiting for the right person to come along for me to use it on. I called all those other girls 'babe,' but 'babe' was meant for you. It's your pet name only and they were just borrowing it. So, it's not cursed or anything, it was just looking for it's owner," Axel smiled.

Roxas rolled over to face Axel, "You sure I'm the brainy one in the relationship, 'cause that was pretty insightful."

"Yep. You're the brainy one. Have you ever heard me use 'insightful' in a sentence?" Axel asked.

"Ah. Touché," Roxas quipped.

"Whoa there feller. Don't go turning French on me now," Axel teased.

"Oh, but I thought you liked French," Roxas replied tantalizingly.

"Ah. Touché," Axel said before slipping his tongue into Roxas's mouth. He made out with the blonde for quite some time before the two separated to catch their breathe. In the momentary parting, Axel shouted, "Viva la France!" then immediately pounced on Roxas and once again sank his tongue deep into the other boy's mouth.

Roxas groaned as the blaring alarm clock woke him from his peaceful sleep. He stretched and made his way out of bed and to the bathroom. He was sore once again, seeing as last night had been a repeat of the time before. He hadn't minded being bottom again, however, and besides it wasn't like they'd taken the time to plan it out or anything. It was just the most convenient position at the time. Plus, because they were starting to get the hang of things, it was even more passionate than the last time. He made his way out to the living room where he found Axel sitting on the couch with a very distraught look on his face, "Morning Axel. You ok?"

"I can't do it," he replied sharply.

Roxas was a bit taken aback, "Can't do what?" he asked worriedly.

"I can't do this. Or can't tell. Or I don't know! Gah!" he grabbed at his head, "I'm so confused!"

Roxas hurried around to the other side of the couch and hugged the redhead, "Axel. What's going on?" his eyes darted around, searching Axel for an answer.

"I've been thinking about what we said last night, about telling our families, and I just can't do it. I mean, there's no way they'll take it lightly. And if I don't tell them, they'll find out eventually and it'll be even worse. And I mean, I know in my heart I should choose you over them, but I just don't know how I can," Axel looked to be on the verge of tears.

Roxas too felt his heart sink. He almost couldn't find any words to say, "Axel...I'm not sure what to say. I'd never tell you to choose me over your family, even if that's what I'd hope for. And I also don't think you should go around guessing how other's will react to different situations. But if you do want to break it off for a little while, I won't hold it against you. And I'll even be waiting, with open arms, for you to come back. If that's what you decide," Roxas forced himself to smile.

A slight smirk crept across Axel's face, "Heh. Wow. You said you didn't know what to say, but I think you just told me exactly what I needed to hear. I mean, here I am worrying about my family not approving of my choices and then you come in and say, 'Hey, I don't care what you choose. I just want you to be happy.' I'd have to be an idiot to choose the oppressive group over the supportive one. I'm choosing you, Roxy. You are my one and only, and if someone doesn't like it, it doesn't matter, 'cause you'll still be here for me," Axel smiled.

Roxas smiled right back, relieved to hear that their relationship wasn't ending, "I'll always support you Axel, in everything you do. I just wouldn't feel right telling you what you can and can't do."

"And that's why I'm picking you, babe," Axel grinned.

"Again with the babe," Roxas rolled his eyes, "Guess I'm just gonna have to get used to it, huh?"

"Yep," Axel chuckled, "But don't worry. There's plenty of time."
