Chapter seven: Dungeon level two
" Whomever designed this dungeon was sick, twisted , and half mad...my complements." Krypton said with a smirk. On the second level.
" Krypton." Maya started." You wanted to know earlier why there were dungeons like these? Well months ago the goblins were ordered to build them. They were meant for those of the Faydark to stay and rot."
" Not surprised." He muttered to himself. Maya glared at him and he smirked amused. And walked further into the darkness. HIs sword out and ready. He looked at Maya and lifted his hand, he heard the sound of clanking metal. He peered from behind a wall." Great." He sighed and summoned his desease bolt and ran out from behind the wall. The armored goblin turned and slammed his blade into Krypton's.
Maya ran from the wall and ducked and rolled behind the goblin and crashed her staff into his spin and tried to use the staff to trip him. But he noticed she was behind him and shoved her hard back into the wall. Krypton in turn kicked him back. Maya got up and slammed her staff into hisn side, then with the other end of her staff, she slammed his spine again, letting Krypton slice him in half. Making him drop two rings. As he fell to the ground.
“ What are those for?” Maya asked.
“ These, are proof that we slaughtered the goblins in the cave. “ Krypton explained.
Maya nodded her head in understanding and followed Krypton, towards the way they came in. “ You still never answered my question, Krypton.” Maya started before they reached the exit of the dungeons.
Krypton paused. And turned to glance back at her,” What question?”
“ I asked you about your ring . And you did not answer me. “ Maya said with her hands on her hips.
Krypton nodded his head slightly.” That ring is the only part of my past I was proud of. That is all you need to know.” With that he turned and continued ahead. Outside it had grown dark. How long were they down there? Who knows.
Krypton turned to Maya. “ I suggest that we stop here and get some sleep. And at dawn we will get a fresh start.”
“ Alright.” Maya said and set her pack down and leaned her staff against the tree they were under. Krypton did the same and used wood, and a fire beetle eye to make a fire. Then he laid out a blanket and took off his armor, where under were his clothing. Maya looked over at him, and he removed those as well. Maya’s eyes widened at his body. How sexy his blue complexion shown in the moon light. His body was well built, he had tribal tattoos on various places on his back and chest.
Krypton knew she had her eyes on him. He smirked slightly and let down his hair, so it brushed his back. “ Do you see something that you like?” He asked not looking at her.
“ No! Me, like the sight of you?! HA!” Maya said and folded her arms over her chest.
Krypton smiled and pulled out his second rolled up blanket and covered over himself. He propped himself up upon one elbow while laying on his side.” We did make a deal. So why don’t you come over here and lay next to me. “
Maya glared and did. As she stood over the blankets and Krypton he spoke again. This time it was a sly voice.” You know you might be more comfortable without your clothing.”
“ No, I’ll be quite comfortable. At least I won’t look like a fool should we get a surprise attack in the night.” She said.
Krypton shrugged innocently then said,” Alright, I suppose I’ll have to confiscate your staff then.”
Maya glared hard at him and removed her boots, leggings, top, and let her long hair loose of the bun. All she wore now was her dark green bra and panties. Slowly she crawled under the blankets and pulled it over her until it was right under her neck. She seemed to hold the blanket tightly. This was something that amused Krypton.
As he scooted closer to her, the grip on the blanket tightened.” Now then, if you would not mind telling me. What was the stag to you?”
Maya looked at him.” Not a stag, a person once. Hadaer was my lover once. My father did not approve of him. And so he cursed him. And turned him into a stag. “
“ Why didn’t your father approve?” Krypton asked.
