The Set up...
The two boys rejoined the group and were with them for the rest of the day. Thus, they didn't talk to each other at all. Lyude spent his time discussing the empire's politics with Savyna. He wasn't really into the conversation at all, and she noticed pretty quickly. She wasn't a dumb woman. She knew what was up.
Kalas was highjacked by Xelha, who just wouldn't stop talking about Quzman's family and what a good thing they were doing. He really couldn't stand that family by now. Especially that guy, Sabin, who had two wives and a child with each wife. What made it worse was that both of his wives were his father's granddaughters from other wives. Well, adopted father. But it still didn't make it alright. Keeping it in the family was bad enough, but cheating on the family with other family? That was just low. No, Kalas was a monogamous kind of guy. Unfortunately, Xelha could sense this, and she was hoping to be the one person he loved.
They got to Quzman's around dark and spoke with him about his remainging family members. Afterwards, the group went to the bar for food and drink, but the only heavy drinking was on Gibari and Savyna's parts, and Savyna could actually hold her liquor pretty well.
After this the group headed to Rodolfo's manor. It had been all but abandoned by the lord, and the servents saw no problem in letting their group spend the night. As there were 4 guest rooms, they decided that they shoud split up. There would be two double rooms and two single rooms. This wasn't abnormal at all so they set upon the normal arrangements. Xelha and Mizuti together and Savyna by herself. Gibari and Lyude together, and Kalas by himself. Lyude was about to resign himself to an evening of listening to a very drunk Gibari snore all night when Savyna interjected.
"Hey, since Gibari sounds like a Pow on Apple Whine, don't ask how I know, why don't you and Kalas bunk together tonight? We need you well rested for tomorrow."
Lyude was momentarily stunned by the suggestion, but then accepted it easily. Xelha looked mildly upset. She'd probably been hoping to go and speak with Kalas at night, again. Kalas and Lyude both nodded and took Gibari to his room, where they plopped him down, then went to their room together...
