Mission 13
The Grave's Butler
Poor Matha Graves. I knew exactly what she was going through. We stood in my bedroom, I held her in my arms as she wept. I pulled her close and her young body pressed against mine. I felt tears run down my cheeks. It's been a long time since I last cried.
She was a rich girl whose parents died on Pioneer 1 when it landed on Ragol. Her butler and only family left her on Pioneer 2 to search for her parents but he never returned. I answered her call for help and took her down to Ragol to look for her butler.
We didn't find him. We found messages he left her, but nothing more. I think she knew the truth all along. She might have wanted to see the planet which had claimed her family, or maybe she was hoping to die there and join them. Whatever her reasons for wanting to go to Ragol, I took her there. I fought off every monster and she didn't get a scratch on her. We traveled through the caves mostly in silence, she seemed to be in a daze and I just didn't know what to say. We found the messages left by her butler. He encouraged her to keep on living, to become a fine woman and make her parents proud.
She hasn't stopped crying since we found the last message. I carried her home in my arms.

I told her about my parents. I was about the same age as her when they died. I told her in a whisper my feelings, my deepest and darkest thoughts. And I told her that she would survive, that things won't be the same but they will eventually get better. I didn't tell her that things only got better for me this year.
I told her that she could stay with me for as long as she needed someone to be with her. I laid her down in my bed and pulled a blanket over her. She fell asleep almost immediately.
I slept on the couch for the next week while Matha stayed in my apartment. She spent a lot of time crying and sleeping. I fed her and asked her if she needed anything, but other than that I let her grieve. It was the way I wish it had been for me.
When it was me, I was surrounded by government officials. They brought in doctors and psychiatrists who kept asking me how I felt. How the hell did they think I felt?
Mission 14
Letter from Lionel
It has been a month since I found out that my family was dead, including my butler. The first week I spent in Ash's apartment. Then he took me back to my apartment. I spent two days here alone before I asked Ash to move in here. His place was only one room and mine has three bedrooms so he agreed. I really just didn't want to be alone, and I think he knew it because he agreed so quickly.
My parents left on Pioneer 1 when I was 5 and my butler wasn't friendly at all. Over the last week I've been feeling much better, realizing that I shouldn't spend my life mourning people who didn't seem to care all that much about me. And it was about that time that my feelings toward Ash changed.
I feel closer to Ash than I have anyone before. He's really been there for me when nobody else has, and he's really good at knowing what I'm feeling. We've been talking and it's really helped. I think it might even be helping Ash too.
I used to think of Ash as a sort of big brother, but now I want him to be much more than that. Last Sunday I opened the door into the hall bathroom and Ash was standing there naked, his body was wet from just getting out of the shower. I just froze. He saw me standing there and staring at him and he walked toward me and closed the door.
He's the hottest guy I've ever seen, he sleeps just down the hall from me and I just just realized it a week ago. The only thing is that he's H-18 and I'm H-14. I'm sure he could date any girl on the ship he wanted to. My breasts are only an A cup and I'm really short compared to him. I don't have any experience with boys, only touching myself. Even if I was really hot I wouldn't know if I would tell him about it. If we got together and stayed together it would be great, but if we broke up he would probably move out and things would be terrible.
The only place I'll be able to be with him is in my dreams. I've had the same dream about him every night since I saw him naked. We're in my room and we're both naked. Ash holds me in his arms and kisses me. He says I'm beautiful and he wants to be with me forever. He kisses me again and he touches me down there. He keeps kissing me and touching me until I have an orgasm. When I wake up my hand is always down the front of my panties and they're always wet.
In a couple of years when I'm older I'll tell him how I feel, and risk everything with him. Maybe then he'll tell me the things I want to hear. But for now I need Ash to be there for me as a friend more than a boyfriend.
In the meantime I'm teaching myself to cook and do chores the butler used to do while Ash goes back to being a Hunter. Today he said he had to find parts of an android that were scattered around Ragol. I just hope he doesn't meet other girls on these missions.
Author's Notes
I think this is one of the better chapters. I started writing thinking that Ash and Matha would hook up a couple of times over two chapters, since the Letter From Lionel mission was boring even when I played the game. I decided to change things and make Matha a recurring character, and I think it's a whole lot more interesting.
In Matha's fantasy it only goes as far as masturbation because that's the extent of her sexual experience. See that? I'm leveling-up my writing skills.
That's the end of Chapter 7.
