Chapter 7. Going The Distance
A loud clap of thunder startled the sleeping blonde from his dreams, blue eyes snapping open as he sat up. Wide-eyed, he watched the wind whip through the open window, blowing cold air into the recesses of the room. He shuddered, the chill running up his naked body. The darkness enveloped him, frightening his very being, making him curl into himself.
Lightening exploded outside.
“Link?”
He yelped, startled by the voice and turned, almost falling off the bed. An arm caught him around the waist, steadying him and bringing him to rest against a firm chest. He sighed, the lulling thud of the persons heart calming his own racing one. A hand slid along his back, down his spine and back up, a gentle whisper of breath in his ear.
Another explosion of lightening ripped the air, followed by the roll of the thunder. He didn’t notice, his body already to relaxed and warm within the others embrace. He breathed in the scent of warmth, lust and after-glow. His heart raced just at the thought of it, and it made him smile more brightly, eyes twinkle like the late night stars.
He felt a finger under his chin, lifting his face until he met deep ruby eyes that glowed through the darkness. Suddenly, he was frozen in fear, seeing that same dark face, those blood thirsty eyes, that dark shadowed face and the insane smirk that creased the monsters lips. He cried out, pushing on the persons front, untangling himself from the others body as he collapsed to the floor, fear wrenching at his heart and mind.
“No... get away from me... don’t touch me,” Link cried, hitting the ground and crawling away slowly, slipping on the wooden floor.
“Link...”
“No, please,” Link pleaded, his voice shaking in his throat. “Stop it, don’t hurt me... please... Dark Link... don’t hurt me.”
‘Dark Link?’ Sheik thought.
He climbed after the frightened Hylian, gripping his wrist to hold him in place, a shrill cry escaping the others throat. Sheik pulled him closer again, placing his cheek against the Hero’s forehead, feeling the flame of heat radiating from the body. He sighed, feeling the body struggle to get out of his hold, the fever rapidly increasing with Link’s wild movements.
“Calm down, Link,” Sheik whispered, trying to sooth him. “It’s okay. It’s me, it’s Sheik.”
“Sheik,” Link repeated, his voice a whisper.
“Yes.”
“I... I thought you....”
“Hush. Your running a fever,” Sheik whispered, tilting the Hylian’s head up again to look into his eyes. “It was just a hallucination.”
“Sheik...” Link repeated.
He bent down, capturing the Hero’s quivering lips into a calming kiss. He felt Link slowly melt into calmness again, gripping the Sheikah’s shoulders in his bandaged hands, holding him close. They pulled away, only for a breath before they had caught one another in a second powerful kiss that melted them both.
“Let us return to bed,” Sheik whispered as their lips parted.
“What did you mean?” Link asked. “What did you mean about not being able to love one of the same sex?”
Sheik sighed sadly. “I am to bare a child, Link... so as to continue my Sheikah heritage. With a man I cannot do that.”
“So...” Link whispered, looking down.
“But I also said I have fallen in love,” Sheik whispered with a smile.
Link smiled, wrapping his arms around Sheik’s neck and pulling the male into another heated kiss, their lips parting and tongues dancing. They fell together, Sheik falling back onto the floor, Link’s supple and smaller form gliding across his, their bodies grinding together on their own accord.
“You need sleep,” Sheik whispered, cupping Link’s face.
“Right now all I need is you,” Link whispered.
“Link...”
Without a second thought, Sheik pulled the Hero onto the bed, sitting down and placing him between his legs. He leaned forward, placing his chin on Link’s shoulder, the Hero leaning back, turning his head and capturing Sheik’s lips once again. Slowly, the Sheikah slid his hands across Link’s front, down to his navel and over a petite hip to the round of his sacs, squeezing the cool flesh.
Link gasped, pulling his lips away and leaning farther into Sheik’s warm embrace, feeling the other hand wrap around under his arm and rest against his chest. He lifted his own hand to the one resting on his chest, gliding their fingers together, entangling them in a delicate hold. His breath came out short and in pants, his body reacting to every touch, squeeze, caress and feel the Sheikah indulged on his body.
Link could feel the arousal that slid along the spine of his back as Sheik leaned farther into him, caressing one sac and then the other, nipping and licking his shoulders as he panted and moaned with pleasure. He unclenched his left hand from within the sheets and placed it on Sheik’s upper thigh, tilting his head to the side as he felt the teeth nip his collar and suck on his flesh.
Sheik moaned as he felt Link’s backside slide up and down along his erection, brushing across the underside of his already aroused and twitching manhood. He released the rosy skin from between his lips, watching as the mark went from pink to a delicate hue of blue and purple. He smiled at the mark, knowing it gave the instinct to others that the Hero belonged only to one.
With slow ease, and torturous gentleness, Sheik slid his hand from the two sacs to the long, erect shaft, gliding his fingers from the gentle curls of hair at the base up to the wet tip, sliding the pad of his thumb over the wetness and back down again to indulge in the wondrous silky curls. He heard Link’s intake of breath and smiled, sliding his hand back up and then down again, smearing the wetness of precum down along the shaft for lubricant.
“T-tease,” Link stuttered.
Sheik smirked as Link tilted his head back again and captured his hips, grinding his hips expectantly and deeply against Sheik’s hardness, making him hiss with pleasure. Sheik’s grip loosened around Link’s erection, giving the Hylian enough room to turn around, place his hands on Sheik’s shoulders and push him to the bed. Their lips never once parted, only deepening as they crashed down onto the plush futon.
They parted, the need for oxygen becoming a necessity. Sheik watched as Link attacked his neck and shoulders, sliding his tongue down across his shoulders onto his chest and latching onto his right nipple, gnawing on it with his teeth. He moaned, arching into the talented mouth and gripping his hands into Link’s golden hair. He felt a cool breath wisp across his perk nipple and gasped, suddenly groaning and arching again as his other nipple was attacked.
Link’s tongue rolled across the pink nub, sliding and caressing the skin and then back across the perk nipple to nip and chew on it gently with his teeth. He felt the hands tighten in his hair, only making him suck and nip harder with every gentle tug to his golden locks. He released the left nipple with a cool breath like the last, making it just as hard. His hands snaked down Sheik’s torso, across his belly and around his navel.
“Now who’s the tease,” Sheik moaned.
With an innocent smile, Link dipped lower, sliding down to sit between Sheik’s legs, sliding his tongue inside the dipping navel before gliding lower. He brushed a finger across the underside of the twitching shaft, watching as the creamy-white precum drizzled from the tip, wanting and needing to be touched. Link lifted his hips, leaning forward and touched the two erections together.
They cried out, the contact unbearably arousing.
Link felt his arms weaken, but held himself up, almost buckling under his own weight. He slid lower again, his and Sheik’s tips sliding along one another, making them both groan as he sat back between the other legs. He placed a hand at the base of the Sheikah’s large erection, swallowing hard when he noticed the size and placed his mouth over the tip.
Sheik bucked into the mouth instinctively, crying out his pleasure, hands tangling tighter into Link’s already tousled mane. He bit his lower lip, groaning and pleading with his thoughts that the Hylian would just give him release. He felt Link’s tongue slosh around his head, and under the rim of the tip, making him gasp, stars bursting around him.
Link complied, dipping lower, straight to the very base, into the luscious sandy curls by his hand and back up, his tongue sliding along the top and bottom side of the shaft. He bobbed at the top, just like Sheik had done the night before, before sliding lower, gliding along the wetness and back up, sucking on the twitching flesh. He sucked harder, his pace moving slower as he felt Sheik’s hips buck into his mouth again, the hands tangling tighter yet again.
Sheik panted, his body coated in a thin sheet of sweat, his face flushed as he propped himself up on his elbows, watching with admiration as Link slid along his penis, eyes closed as he moved slowly along the large organ. Sheik shuddered, feeling his release bubbling inside him and cried out, tilting his head back and closing his eyes as he bucked again, emptying himself within the Hylain’s mouth.
Link stopped his movements, releasing Sheik’s limping erection and swallowed, drinking down the seed he had been offered. His eyes locked with Sheik’s and he smiled, innocents gone, overthrown by a gleam of pure lust and love. He slid forward again, leaning down to capture Sheik’s lips in a searing kiss. Their arousals touched again, both letting out throaty moans as their lips connected, drowning the sound through their mouths.
Slowly, Sheik sat up again, Link resuming his place from before, sitting with his back to Sheik’s chest, leaning softly against the muscled body. He smiled, resting his head on the Sheikah’s shoulder, closing his eyes as he memorized Sheik’s unique flavor. He had enjoyed it... a lot, making him only want more. He could feel Sheik’s erection growing once again, rubbing against his backside.
Sheik slid his hand up Link’s body, rubbing his index finger along the Hylian’s lips. Link took the digit into his mouth, followed by three more. His tongue rolled around the sweaty fingers, nipping at the soft skin and gliding across the nails to moisten them. He took a breath as they were slowly removed from his mouth.
“Kiss me.”
Link needed no second word. He leaned back, pressing his lips heavenly to the Sheikah’s as the three digits slid simultaneously into his tight passage, making him whimper within Sheik’s mouth. The three fingers searched slowly, concentrating only to find that one spot that would throw Link to the edge, cloud his vision and make him cry for more.
He found it.
Link cried out, breaking their kiss and tossed his head upward, his voice carrying and drowning in the roll of more thunder. He shuddered, body convulsing with pleasure as he slumped against Sheik’s torso, eyes fluttering as they fogged with ecstacy, face flushed with a pink hue.
The fingers disappeared, leaving him crazing more, wanting to feel something within him. He whimpered, feeling Sheik’s erection glide across his back to the ring of swelled muscles around his entrance. He shuddered, waiting for the intensity of being engulfed, swallowing down the lump in his throat as the pressure on his entrance increased.
“Ohh, Sheik,” Link whispered.
He clenched his jaw, biting back a whimper of pain as the tip of the Sheikah’s erection slid within him, stopping briefly. He shuddered at the feeling, arms circling his body, holding him close. He placed his hands over Sheik’s, holding them with his own, giving a curt nod. More of the massive organ slid within him, penetrating deep within his body.
He gasped, hearing an animalistic growl from behind as Sheik buried deeper within him. His heart raced as he was consumed completely, the new position sending shocks of both pleasure and pain racing through his body, up his spine, down the tips of his fingers and tingling the nails on his toes. He shuddered, closing his eyes as he was filled completely, the movement coming to a dead stop.
Slowly, Sheik moved, sliding out, farther and farther before coming to a stop, the tip of his erection the only thing within the Hero, and slid back in, slowly, taking his time, giving way to the pleasure he felt, and wanting Link to feel. He heard a gentle whimper, saw tears stinging the corners of the Hylian’s eyes. He leaned forward, kissing them away, whispering softly into his ear, calming the golden-haired Hero.
He slid out, and back in. Each thrust slow and calming, giving way to more pleasure. He heard another whimper, followed by the sighing moan that escaped passed the Hero’s trembling lips. He smiled, leaning forward, turning Link’s head, and pressed their lips together, bodies joined. He moved slowly. In. Out. In. Out.
Link whimpered into Sheik’s mouth, gripping tightly to the Sheikah’s hands splayed so intimately across his chest. He broke the kiss, panting for breath as a very loud moan passed his lips, white sparks of stars bursting passed his eyes, exploding through his body, consuming his soul and sending him closer to the stars.
Only hours before, they had had sex. This was beyond sex... far beyond.
They were making love.
Slow, consensual love... in the middle of the night.
Link lead Sheik’s right hand down his torso, eyes half-lidded, as he felt the fingers glide so softly across his pale skin, down passed his navel and wrap so delicately around his erection. Sheik kissed his shoulder, licking the soft skin as he allowed Link to lead his hand up the Hero’s shaft, his thumb rubbing the tip, and back down, slow, just like they wanted it.
They panted, bodies glittering in the glow of the moon above, basked in a blue glow from the high moon that broke through a group of thunder clouds. Their bodies slid together, gliding along one another, moving easily through, around and in. Link removed his hand from Sheik’s, allowing the male to stroke him on his own. He raised his arm above his head, tilting it back and lacing his fingers into the sandy blonde hair, his own head leaning back to rest on Sheik’s shoulder.
Link gasped, eyes flying open, wide and large. He arched his back, Sheik’s erection going impossibly farther into the Hero as he cried out, the world around him exploding into ecstacy as he released. His heart pounded, the world crashing around him as he felt Sheik’s hand squeeze him, his shaft pulsating with release into Sheik’s open palm.
With a grunt, Sheik felt Link clamp around him, the ring of muscles becoming increasingly tighter as he, too, released. He cried out, his head falling to Link’s shoulder as he shuddered, the feeling of his ejaculation trembling through his body, his seed being milked ever so slowly from his own, entering the Hero’s who sat so comfortably on his lap, back pressed to his stomach.
They sat for a while, staring out the open window at the storm that was slowly breaking away, descending into the world beyond. Their hearts thundered in their chests, bodies glistening with sweat in the moons pale glow. With care, Link leaned forward, sliding off of Sheik, the Sheikah leaning back onto the bed, pulling Link with him, curling their bodies together, legs entangled.
With an innocent smile, Link lifted Sheik’s semen-coated hand to his lips and sucked on the delicate fingers, lapping his own seed from the Sheikah’s hand. He locked his eyes with ruby ones, pulling the finger deeper into his mouth and back out, moving to the next to lap at that one too. Sheik pulled his hand away, licking at Link’s seed as well and pulled the Hero to him, their lips meeting in a fierce passionate kiss.
“Sheik,” Link whispered deep into the night.
“Yes, my Hero?” Sheik hummed, pressing his lips to Link’s forehead.
Link smiled sadly into the darkness. “It’s nothing.”
“Are you sure?”
“I’m sure,” Link sighed.
They curled together, the silky covers being pulled across their bodies a second time as they returned to sleep. Link listened to the gentle thump of Sheik’s heart, feeling the arms wrap tightly around his waist. He splayed his hands across the Sheikah’s chest, kissing him softly on the shoulder. His eyes fluttered closed, and his heart thumped in his ear.
‘This wont be forever... will it...’
The question echoed in his ear over and over, nagging at him. He frowned, leaning his forehead against Sheik’s chest and sighed, eyes still closed. What would happen when he did finally return peace to Hyrule? What would become of Sheik? And what of princess Zelda?
Link drifted into sleep, one that wasn’t as peaceful as he had hoped.
*~*~*
The silver lining of the sun peaked over the far Kokiri forest, spraying a wash of sunlight through the open windows that scattered Kakariko and into the many rooms and homes across the small village. The light washed so delicately across that of the sleeping people, some already up and preparing their families breakfasts.
The light washed across the gentle glow of a small fairy, her wings beating gently in the window that was projected above the main doorway. She hummed softly, bobbing in the air as water boiled over the roiling fire she had sparked. She yawned, stretching her body and fairy wings, sending out a shower of sparks in the wake. The water popped and broiled over the open flame, turning her attention back to it.
She turned, fluttering over the pot and looking down into the rumbling heat. She flew to the ground, picking up a metal rod, heaving it into the air and dropping it into the pot, stirring the contents within, the aroma sifting through the large home and up the stairs to the connecting bedroom. Her tune echoed throughout the large interior below, softly lulling about the open space. She smiled, leaning down and dipping a finger against the metal rod, sucking on the impending digit.
“Hmm...”
She fluttered across the room to a connecting cupboard, pulling open the door with some effort and rummaged through it, searching for the ingredient she needed. With a triumphant smirk, she held the small jar up in her hands like a trophy and flew beck tot he pot, turning the jar over and sprinkling the powder into the stew bubbling below.
“Pepper, just what it needed,” she said with a smile, tasting the stew a second time.
“Navi...”
With a gasp, she turned, meeting soft blue eyes, the golden haired male rubbing his left eyes with the back of his hand, a long silken white robe cascading down his body, tied loosely in the front and leaving nothing to the imagination. She smiled seeing her friend and partner awake and well, flying to him and hugging him tightly. He hugged her back, holding her in a gentle embrace against his shoulder.
“I’m so glad your okay,” she whispered, tears in her eyes.
“I’m sorry I worried you,” he whispered back.
He pulled her away from his body, kissing her forehead delicately and carried her in his palm to the pot, grabbing the metal rod and stirring the delectable looking food within. He took a deep breath, taking in the aroma and hummed softly, giving her a fluttering smile that she couldn’t help but blush at as his eyes came down to rest upon her.
“Smell delicious,” he said in a sultry tone.
“Thank you,” she muttered, blushing brighter again. She looked around slowly. “Where’s Sheik?”
“Still asleep,” Link said, unable to hide the smile on his face. “I woke up to this amazing smell and your wonderful humming.”
Navi blushed, yet again, a little darker. “Quit that.”
“Quit what?” Link asked innocently.
“Making me blush,” she grumbled playfully.
He laughed at her and nodded, sliding his finger along the warm metal and tasting the stews sauce. He popped his finger from is mouth and tilted his head to the side, thinking. Navi watched him with wary eyes, her own baby face giving him a questioning look. She quirked an eyebrow.
“Needs something,” he muttered.
“What?” she asked.
“It’s very good, but it’s missing something,” Link mumbled.
“Like what?” Navi asked again.
“Not sure,” Link said with a shrug. “What ingredients does this place have?”
Navi fluttered from his hand and began to rummage through the cupboard, pulling out jar after jar and placing it on the counter. Link sat at the round table, watching as she plopped one bottle down and flew back under into the darkness, illuminating it with her light, before she reappeared to place another jar down and disappear again.
She stopped on the counter, slightly out of breath as she read off the labels to him.
“Paprika, Zora’s weed, mustard powder, clovers, baby root, chili powder...”
“No, not those...”
“Savory, sage, cream of tartar, Cajun seasoning, celery salt, garlic salt, nutmeg, marjoram leaves, oregano, and thyme leaves,” Navi said, finishing off the list of labels.
“Hm...” Link placed a finger to his lips, making Navi blush again. “Garlic salt and marjoram leaves.”
“Really...”
“Yep. It’s how Saria made her stew whenever I was at her place,” Link said with a soft smile.
“Do you miss her?” Navi asked, flying over to the pot with one ingredient, Link carrying the other.
“All the time,” Link whispered, sprinkling in some marjoram leaves. “It’s so amazing she turned out to be a sage.”
“I know,” Navi hummed.
“But her power is part of mine now,” Link said with a delicate smile that made him look so innocent Navi couldn’t help but smile. “She’s always with me.”
“It’s good to know you two are still close,” Navi said, watching as he stirred the ingredients around.
“Yes, it is...” Link sighed, staring at the steam pouring up from the pot.
They were silent, both watching the boiling stew within the pot as it cooked, the smell moving beautifully through the house, making it smell delicious. Link smiled at the memories of the past, thinking about how close he and his friends used to be, and how they no longer remember him. A thought struck.
“Navi, did you find anything out about the other Temples?” Link asked out of the blue.
“What... oh... yea, I did,” she said proudly.
“And?”
“Well, I heard from a source that the desert has been plagued.”
“Plagued?”
“Yes. The leader of the Gerudo, Nabooru, has gone missing,” Navi sighed.
“Really? Isn’t that an all-womens’ tribe of bandits?” Link asked.
“Yes, except for one...”
Link looked at her.
“Ganondorf.”
“What?” Link gasped.
“So, the desert is your next stop.”
Both Navi and Link turned to the voice, watching as Sheik leaned against the wall that hid the stairway up to the bedroom. He smiled at Link, who blushed and smiled back. Navi scowled, but hid it when both pairs of eyes landed on her. She smiled at them, grabbing the metal rod and stirred the pot again.
Sheik walked over to Link, slinking his arms around the Hero’s waist and leaning forward, pressing their lips together in a soft good-morning kiss. Link smiled, lacing his fingers into Sheik’s sandy hair that was lightly tousled from sleep and kissed back, more deeply and passionately.
Navi cleared her throat. “Listen, if you two want to have another romp in the sack... please, oh please, don’t do it here.”
Link blushed and Sheik smirked.
“S-so... what was that about the desert?” Link asked, stuttering slightly.
“Ganondorf is the leader of the entire tribe,” Sheik said, placing the puzzle together as he walked over to the table and sat down. “Nabooru is second in command to Ganondorf, but naturally, if he wasn’t their, she is the rightful leader.”
“I thought Navi said it was an all-womans’ tribe?” Link asked, Sheik grabbing his hand and pulling him to sit on his lap.
“It is,” Sheik whispered, kissing Link’s neck softly.
“That’s what I don’t get,” Navi sighed, sitting on the edge of the table. “Why is Ganondorf the leader?”
“I’m not sure,” Sheik said with a shrug.
“I thought you Sheikah knew everything,” Navi said in a snappy tone.
Link looked at her with an odd expression. Sheik just chuckled and shook his head.
“No, not everything.”
Link smiled, climbing off of Sheik’s lap and walking over to the Broiling pot, stirring the stew before tasting it and giving it a curt nod. He turned back to the others, noticing Navi’s dark glare she was sending to the oblivious Sheik that happened to be watching Link at the time.
“Navi?” Link asked gently. “Is something wrong?”
“What...?” She said, a little jumpy. “Oh, no... nothing.”
She smiled, making Link even more curious as to her odd behavior. He cried out, falling to the ground suddenly, startling the others. He collapsed beside the pot, holding his stomach, pain searing up his spine, tingling at the back of his neck and back down, almost like a sharp knife was being forced into him that was blazing hot.
In an instant, Sheik and Navi were at his side, his young fairy gliding in front of his face, one hand on his cheek, looking into his bleary eyes. He looked back, seeing duplicate upon duplicate of her floating in front of his. He groaned, leaning forward, the pain worsening. Sheik rubbed his back, pulling him into an embrace and holding him close.
“Link, what’s wrong?” he asked, soothing the pain.
“H-hurts,” Link stuttered, practically out of breath. “I-it r-r-really h-hurts.”
“What’s wrong with him,” Navi cried shrilly.
“It’s his wound,” Sheik said, noting where Link was holding himself.
“What do we do?” Navi asked frantically.
“We can’t do anything,” Sheik said seriously, holding Link closer. “We have to wait till it passes before I can look at it.”
“This is your fault,” Navi blazed, pointing a finger accusingly. “It’s all your fault.”
“What do you mean?” Sheik asked, baffled by the young fairy.
“If Link wasn’t so distracted by how you would push and shove around his emotions none of this would be happening,” Navi snarled. “If you hadn’t entered his life seven years ago none of this would have happened... none of these wounds.”
“N-Navi,” Link moaned out painfully. “I-it’s not h-his f-f-fault.”
“Yes it is,” Navi roared, anger burning behind her now, searing through her small body. “It’s all your fault.”
“Navi please,” Sheik whispered, hearing Link’s whimper of pain.
“NO... YOU DON’T DESERVE HIM...” she paused for a moment, faltering before pointing again. “No, I’m wrong... not only do you not deserve him... but he doesn’t need you.”
“STOP IT.”
The arguing pair looked down at Link, his eyes squeezed shut in pain, biting on his lip as another flash of pain shot through him, dizzying him. He groaned, pushing away from Sheik and landing hard on the floor, opening one eye painfully, face flushed and burning. He leaned up against the wall, panting heavily, body boiling like the heat of the pot.
“Link, how bad is it?” Navi asked softly.
“I d-don’t feel so good,” he whispered.
He tilted, his body swaying as he collapsed to the floor, everything going dark around him, the cries of worry and surprise dying away into the pitch of hollow shadows that cascaded around him in veils.
*~*~*
A cool cloth dripped gently on his head, making him groan and open his blue eyes tiredly. He shuddered, a cool breeze chilling him through the open window. He felt the bed sagging at his side where a person sat, the cloth leaving his head, only to return cooler and full of fresh water that drizzled on his forehead. He sighed, enjoying the icy feeling.
“How are you feeling?” Sheik whispered.
Link opened his eyes, looking up slowly into soft, worrisome crimson orbs that seemed to soften so beautifully when he looked into them. He smiled, removing his right hand from under the silk sheet he was under and placed his hand on his burning head. The cloth felt rough under his fingers and he sighed, closing his eyes again. A hand gentle traced across his, making him open his eyes again.
“You were running a dangerously high fever again,” Sheik said, placing the back of his hand gently against Link’s cheek.
“I was,” Link croaked.
Sheik nodded. “It didn’t make itself known until you got distressed.”
Link sighed, turning away from Sheik’s prying eyes.
“Link...”
He looked back slowly.
“Was it true what she said?” Sheik whispered.
“What do you mean?” Link asked, sitting up slowly to prop himself on his elbows.
“What Navi said... is it true,” Sheik muttered, removing the cloth and looking down into the water bucket. “Am I the reason you have been getting injured.”
“I... I have been... distracted,” Link sighed.
Sheik turned to look at him.
“Every time I would fight, my mind would be off somewhere else. I was never on task and always thinking about seven years ago,” Link said with sad truthfulness.
“So I am the cause of...”
“No, Sheik... no,” Link cried, grabbing both Sheik’s shoulders and forcing the male to look him in the eyes again. “Trust me Sheik... you will never be the cause of my pain.”
“I... I don’t know...”
Link silenced Sheik with a gentle kiss, pulling the Sheikah down to lie on top of him. He wrapped his arms around his neck, closing his eyes softly as he felt Sheik hesitantly brush his tongue across Link’s baser lip, shyly asking entrance. Link smiled to himself, opening his mouth slowly to allow the warm tongue to enter his mouth and dance with his own.
Their chests tightened and they broke apart, oxygen becoming a need for them. They both breathed heavily, staring at each other through thick lashes and luscious clouded eyes of love. Link smiled, noticing Sheik was still in his robe... like he was.
With a heavenly devious smile, Link slid his arms from around Sheik’s neck, down across his shoulders, over his front and down to his belt line, pulling at the sash to his silky robe. He smiled at Sheik’s shocked expression, the soft material falling open. He slid his hands across the exposed skin, looking away from those captivating ruby eyes to focus on his hands as they brushed up the Sheikah’s sides and back across his chest to ghost across two perk nipples.
“Link...” Sheik sighed.
Link leaned up, kissing Sheik’s chest softly with his delicate lips and leaned back onto the bed, tracing his hands down and running them over Sheik’s hips and inward toward his manhood. He blushed when he noticed Sheik getting hard and brushed his fingers across the soft flesh, swallowing as his fingers seemed to move on their own accord, wrapping around the hardening length and sliding across it’s soft surface.
Link looked back up into Sheik’s fluttering ruby orbs, noticing as the Sheikah bit his bottom lip and bucked into Link’s pressing hand, letting out a throaty groan. His eyes slid open slowly and he focused on Link’s blushing face. With a smile, he leaned down, body propped up on his elbows from either side of Link’s head as he captured the Hylian’s lips in a passionate kiss.
“You know... we never got to say good morning properly,” Link whispered, licking the tip of Sheik’s ear. “I think we should make up for that.”
With a shudder, Sheik nodded, and pulled Link’s body to his own.
“As you wish, Hero of Time.”
*~*~*
Blue eyes focused on the village below, wind brushing silver strands of golden hair across his face, in his eyes and around the green Kokiri hat he wore, Link placed the ocarina of time to his lips, the first note coming out smooth. His eyes slid shut, music consuming him. He felt so at peace, so calm and one with the world.
The wind seemed to dip and sway with him, playing with every note he played with. His heart fluttered at the sound of gentle strings being plucked, gliding along with his own song. He stopped playing and turned around on the crate he sat on. He smiled, watching as the harp was continually played, the sone one of love and harmony.
Sheik smiled, seeing Link’s delicate blue eyes trim over his body and lose themselves in the music. He stopped playing, walking forward and climbed in behind Link on the crate, cradling the Hero against his chest. Link made no objection, curling into the warmth, chest cringing with pain. He whimpered slightly, tilting his head into Sheik’s warmth.
“Still sore?” Sheik asked softly.
“Just my stomach wound,” Link muttered.
“You shouldn’t move then,” Sheik sighed, wrapping his arms tighter around Link’s waist.
“It’s alright,” Link said with a smile. “I’ll survive.”
“I know you will.”
“I more or less have to,” Link muttered, staring out into space. “Hyrule and the world depend on that.”
“As do I.”
Link turned to look up into Sheik’s serene eyes, smiling at the soft flutter of black lashes as he was captured in a pleasant kiss that made his heart soar. He sighed, closing his eyes and bringing himself nearer to the warmth. They separated, Link placing the ocarina to his lips and waited. Sheik smiled at him, lifting his harp.
The played. Soft and low. Gentle and calm.
The village seemed to still, the new inhabitants stopping to look up at the Sheikah house Impa once occupied. The music that drifted down upon them made them smile, making them drift into their dreams, their happiness. All the shadows seemed to dissipate, gliding away with the gentle hum of notes.
Sheik opened his eyes as he watched Link’s slide shut so beautifully, fully lost tot he song now. He swayed with the wind and the notes, allowing the warmth to consume him. With a smile, Sheik plucked the last string on his harp, allowing the vibrations to flow around them until finally the song died with the last note of Link’s ocarina.
“That song...”
“Was composed for me,” Link whispered, opening his eyes as he placed the ocarina in his lap. “I know.”
“How?”
“In the Ice Caves... you said something to me,” Link whispered, looking away to the sky as he smiled and spoke again. “Time passes, people move... Like a river’s flow it never ends... a childish mind will turn to noble ambition... young love will become deep affection.”
Sheik smiled so softly it almost caused Link to blush.
“Serenade of Water,” Link whispered.
“I composed it for you the day you ran from me... seven years ago,” Sheik hummed.
“What was it called then?” Link asked softly.
“Serenade of Love,” Sheik mumbled.
“Then that is what I shall call it,” Link whispered.
Sheik looked up, stunned.
Link smiled and leaned forward, giving him a gentle peck on the lips before turning to lean against Sheik’s chest again, turning a cheek to rest on the Sheikah’s thumping heart. He smiled as the arms tightened around him yet again, holding him more closely. He raised his hands and cupped them around Sheik’s, slinging their fingers loosely together.
“Where’s Navi?” Sheik asked with a sigh.
“Searching for information on the Desert Colossus,” Link said nonchalantly.
“Your next Temple,” Sheik grumbled.
Link looked up at the Sheikah, seeing the burning anger behind his ruby orbs. He cocked his head to the side in confusion, wondering why Sheik was so agitated. He frowned, wondering why he was acting so odd at such a calm time. They were being so calm and peaceful before, but now... now he looked distracted, angry, even.
“Sheik?” Link whispered.
“Link... promise me...” Sheik moved from behind the Hero and knelt before him, grabbing both his hands between his own. “Promise me you’ll be safe.”
The sincerity behind those crimson orbs only made Link feel more confused and worried. He dropped from the box onto his knees in front of Sheik, meeting him at eye level. He leaned forward, removing one of his hands from in between the Sheikah and brushed back a lock of sandy blonde hair, tucking it behind one pointed ear and cupping a pale cheek.
“Promise me,” Sheik repeated, his voice lower than a whisper. “Promise you’ll be safe.”
“I promise.”
He was presented with a kiss to his palm and a gentle smile, their lips meeting again.

A/N: I know, slow and stupid chapter, but I had to write it. Man, what’s up with Navi? I guess only I know, and you’ll all have to wait to find out. I just had to write another lemon scene in the beginning for kicks. It was sort of a catch-up on the missing chapter type thing. Since the first few didn’t have lemons, I thought I needed a few more (though one is only partially mentioned).
Next chapter they will be heading to the spirit temple finally, and, OH GREAT RA OF THE SUN... it get’s HOT! Not in a good sense either. Welp, I’m done for now. Remember to review for me so I can continue to write. The more reviews I get, the more of a jump I get on my writing.
Summary: Review to chapter 1.
