Within the ashes of the now burned-down forest, they found a lone Pok¨¦mon¡ªKeldeo¡ªthat they took in as their own. Keldeo is training to be a Sword of Justice.
Keldeo has been healed (except for its horn), it walks outside the PC with Ash and co. Ash asks Keldeo what happened. Keldeo said he is needed to defeat Kyurem to became a member of Sword of Justice. Then he after training to Virizion, Terrakion and Cobalion, he go to fight Kyurem, but he not learn the use of Sword of Justice. Keldeo challenges Kyurem to battle, which the Boundary Pok¨¦mon accepts. When Swords of Justice arrive, the two are already in battle. Kyurem breaks off Keldeo's horn with Shadow Claw, causing Colt Pok¨¦mon paralyzed with fear. Terrakion go to stop fight to save Keldeo, but Cobalion tells it not to interfere. Kyurem shifts into White Kyurem and freezes the trio, to prevent further interference. Keldeo is overcome with fear and flees from the battle. Kyurem is angry because the battle is not yet over.
Ash realize y Kyurem attack, Ash make promise to he freed the Swords pf Justice. Ash and Keldeo head towards Full Court in order to free the Swords of Justice. Upon hearing that Keldeo is heading there, Kyurem heads back to Full Court to continue the battle. Keldeo becomes scared to fight, once more, so Ash and Pikachu head on their own to Full Court to free the Swords of Justice with Pignite and Boldore, Keldeo also followed them. Ash reveal Kyurem that Keldeo is not member of Sword of Justice, Kyurem tell he know but he want to finish the battle.
Ash courage Keldeo to fight, Keldeo change himself in Resolute Form. The transformation allows Keldeo to use Secret Sword, making Kyurem fear for power. Ash melt the ice and free them Sword of Justice, Virizion start licking Ash cheek. They all say thanks to Ash, Ash recall his Pokemon. But Kyurem manage to defeats Keldeo, Kyurem takes its win after transforming into Black Kyurem. Swords of Justice and Ash and his friends praise Keldeo for finally learning the true power of the sword, which officially makes it the fourth member of the team. The group retreats when Full Court collapses while Kyurem transforms into White Kyurem to freeze everything. Outside, Ash and his friends congratulate Keldeo.
Soon, Cobalion thinks that it's time to say the Swords of Justice Oath and it would like Ash and his friends to be their witnesses. Then Keldeo switches from ordinary form to resolute form and they all say the oath together. Iris tries to finish the match with Dragon Rush, but Druddigon catches Dragonite by the neck, slams him down, and strikes with Dragon Tail, giving Drayden the win. Even though Iris has lost, she receives Drayden's praise and leaves the Gym happy and exhilarated. Before he go, he tell Iris to when she came she became the Gym Leader of Olucupid City.
Near Vertress City, the gang meets the Pok¨¦mon Rescue Squad's Virgil - trainer of Team Eevee - and his brother Davey, whom they decide to assist in helping a group of troubled Cryoganal.
