Torture
Last warning...child abuse, mutilation, amputation, torture in this chapter, don´t read if those are triggers to you and you can not stomach it.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The small argonian was chained to where the mast went through the decks, shivering because he feared what would come next.He could smell it, the nervousness of the dogs nearby. That he was more humanoid than them would change his punishment in some details, chained to the mast by his wristcuffs, clinging to the wood as if it could shield him from what would follow.
Part of his heart cracked as his pleading eyes went to the mer, meeting indifference from the man who had become someone he trusted, a childs mind easily attaching and as easily broken.
This time it was the crop, not a staff, hitting his snout for he had dared to look up, look at one of them.
It didn´t matter that he had looked at the schoolar and not the mage, either of them was above him, especially at the time where punishment was served ..and not to be looked at.
Cowering he tried to shield his face from the crop, hunching his shoulders with his throbbing snout pressed against an upper arm.
His whine brought no reaction from the schoolar, only when the crop went down again, bringing forth more cries, the schoolar turned his back to the argonian which this one somehow catched.
Looking back over his shoulder, was it disbelief or a last plea for help that the mer could not really walk away from him, that made the lizard look back.
But it seemed that was what broke the limitations of the mage.
Barely having caught a glimpse of the mer, the mage slammed the crop down in fast, jerking movements, fueled with hate for the minor lifeform, stressrelief, freeing his frustrations with life.
The lashes came so fast that a couple of them cracked down on his snout before he could even fully realise the pain of them.
As he tried to make himself smaller, curling into himself a boot stomped down on his tail, making him screech which were silenced with lashes on his back, the pain choking the sound from his throat.
Some strokes went on his sides which made him flinch more, even worse were the ones on the soft side near his armpit when his arms got stretched high as he tried to worm himself away from the painfull hits, the slash on his rips making him fall to the side as it seared through his side, from fingertip to toe.
The crop seemed to be everywhere, as he fell on his side and the other exposed, raining down there. He didn´t know what he had done to have earned this pain, but knowledge was beaten into him that he had no chance to escape and they could make him endure it because they wanted it.
Soon his cries were beaten out of him and when his body was helpless laying there because it didn´t know what to do to escape, the pain everywhere no matter his movements, the hits stopped.
He couldn´t have seen anything, even if his eyes had been open, there was only the pulsing of his heart behind closed eyelids and even that felt painfull.
Maybe if he kept his eyes closed, it would stop.
But than the muzzle was grabbed by the strap in his neck and his head lifted, eyes barely opening to a slit.
A new pain flashed through his snout as a rod was roughly shoved against the side of his maw, opening it to lessen the sting for it to be shoved through his mouth, secured in his neck with another strap, keeping his jaw open.
Confusion welled up, mixing with new panic as the harness was fastened to the mast so he couldn´t move his head any longer.
Was it Yok or one of the other darker skinned ones in his bleary line of sight and he had no time to look, his eyes closing at the pain inflicted, only a whine and breathless cough coming from him as the cartilage between his nostrils was pierced.
Either he had passed out or gone into shock because no noise was coming forth any longer from the argonian as further holes were made and filled with metal rings and rods.
One metall ring was dangling free from his snout, the other hidden and pierced from under his upperlip through his nostrils.
An uncomfortable thick stud was fastened though the soft part of his lower jaw, hidden by the tongue and seen from the underside of his mouth because a flat metall base stopped the stud from slidding fully into the maw and a ring was pulled through the hole of the part that was in his maw.
Magic was used to hoop the rings through each other, the one hidden by his upper lip slipping between the gaps of his teeth, preventing that the lizard could open his snout barely more than an inch.
_______________________________________________
He woke in his cage, limbs heavy, his stomach turning and his whole body hurting.
He was free of his muzzle, the pull of the straps no longer there, but instead there was a burning and pulling pain in his snout.
Gingerly fingers tried to feel for what made the pain, but with a hiss he pulled his hand back from his snout.
Trying to get a clear sight again, seeing everything from a wrong angle it seemed..
They had declawed him, his fingertips gone and there were the stumps, seared by heat to prevent bleeding and the smell of burnt flesh.
Vomiting brought new pains, tugging on the rings as reflexes tried to open his maw, stopped with pain and stomach acid went out of his nostrils, burning in all those wounds.
His mind couldn´t process what had been done to him, occupied with getting breath and saliva flowing, sneezing to get the burning away, the spit cleaning part of the acid away.
Now that his mind had caught up, he could distinguish the pains he felt.
The wet, pulling and burning feeling from the lashes that had partly broken his skin, the pulling, burning, thumping pain in his snout, his tailend swollen and he had the vague feeling that there was a fracture.
And worst was the declawing, the first joint of his fingers and toes gone..he couldn´t move enough to take a look at his toes, but there was the same horrible pain, pulsing, cutting at him, searing up his limps and burning up and down his back.
How could the big light one have allowed that, trust broken, violated in a cruel manner, or didn´t they realise what they had done, how bad it was and why wasn´t he free of pain, why had the light one not helped him?
Bad feelings began to fester in his belly, trying to lie on his side, not daring to move and bring more pain to him, slipping into unconsciouness after a while once more.
