Disclaimer:
I own no part of Red vs Blue, or even Halo for that matter. I make absolutely no money from writing this, either.
And I hold the strings.
Doc ran to Caboose’s side, face terror-stricken. Church was holding him, Donut at his side, fearfully gripping Church’s sleeve. Church looked at Doc.
“What happened?” Church asked.
“H- He fell.”
/That’s what happens when they’re pushed./ O’Malley laughed.
Church muttered. “I knew he was gonna do that someday.”
Doc looked at Caboose. This was his fault. If he had never helped O’Malley, if he had never fallen for the rage A.I, Caboose would be fine. They might even have become, well, not lovers, but… better friends than they were. He would never know how it would have turned out between them, if not for O’Malley.
He carried the soldier inside, Donut following. Doc watched them go. Caboose would live, he hoped. He was alive now, a good sign. He would help, he was a medic.
Donut was kneeling at the side of Caboose’s bed, tears dripping from his face. Church stood behind him, hand resting on the other’s shoulder. Doc walked in, ready to save Caboose.
