Ghosts from the past

Marri scrubbed in the lake. Her fur was filthy. Eroth leaned against a tree, watching her bathe. Windhorn sat with his back against the tree, facing away from the lake.
“She bathes a lot, doesn’t she?” Windhorn asked.
“Yes, she dislikes being dirty.” Eroth said. Finally Marri got out.
“Ah, much better.” She said, wrapping a woolen towel around herself. She didn’t want to put on her leather armor until she was dry. She stepped over two Eroth and Windhorn. She kissed Eroth lovingly. “Erot’...”
“Eroth.” He corrected. “Yes, my love?”
“’ow did da gnome know ya name?” She asked.
“When I was still alive, she was my pupil.” He said. “But more than that, she was my first love. The day I died, I had been taking her to the gates of Stormwind. I was going to propose to her there. But the dragon came. I died, saving her life.”
“Oh, I see.” Marri said.
“I don’t regret dying.” Eroth said. “If I had not, I would never have met you, my beloved Marri. The feelings I had for her then are nothing compared to the love I feel for you now.”
Marri blushed. “Thank you, Eroth.” She said.
“No, thank you, my love.” Eroth said.
“How sweet.” Windhorn said. “Marri, your towel is too high.”
Marri turned red and readjusted her towel so it covered her. Eroth laughed.

Prin stared off into the distance.
“Prin. Finish packin’. We’ll be leavin’ soon, lass.” Rummy said.
“Alright.” Prin said. “How is Kal?”
“He’s doin’ better since Arian brought him back to life.” Rummy said.
“Good.” Prin said with a sigh.
“He’s gone, lass.” Rummy said softly. “Don’t dwell on him.”
“I know. But it’s as if I lost him a second time.” Prin said.
“Come along, lass.” Rummy said, heading back.

And yet another story comes to an end. All's back to normal and they've gained a new traveling companion.
