A Final Word
A Final Word From The Author:
I have long been aware that multi-chapter fics just aren't my cup of tea. Nine times out of ten, my attention span simply doesn't hold out for long enough. So it is in the case of this fic. Since the original plan called for a mere four chapters and a single little epilogue, I figured I stood a good chance to reach my desired goal. I was wrong. Inspiration and interest ran out halfway through the third chapter. Only determination remained. So while this fic is now finished, I'm not as happy with the end result as I could be. The sex scenes in particular suffered, in my opinion.
My apologies for this.
However, I still hope you enjoyed this fic for what it was. Even if some of you were rooting for the vampires and wanted to see Charlotte turned. ;)
Oh, and, one final, somewhat geeky, note for those of you interested: The title of this fic as well as all the chapter titles are ripped off from Portrait of Ruin's soundtrack. Since the idea was to write a fic that took PoR's story scenes (or at least, those that concerned themselves with Stella and Loretta) and then rewrite them with more lesbian sex, it only seemed appropriate.
Gallery of Lust comes from 'Gallery of Labyrinth', the theme that plays during that awesome animated introduction sequence.
Victorian Temptation comes from 'Victorian Fear', the theme of the City of Haze level where Jonathan and Charlotte first meet Loretta.
Hail from the Sisters comes from 'Hail from the Past', the theme of the Sandy Grave level where Jonathan and Charlotte meet Brauner and the vampire twins.
The Gears Set In Motion comes from 'The Gears Gone Awry', the theme of Death's Tower where Jonathan and Charlotte battle Stella.
Lie Down with the Darkness comes from 'Gaze Up at the Darkness', the theme of Master's Keep where Jonathan and Charlotte have their final showdown against Stella and Loretta.
Finally, Portrait of Tomorrow comes from 'Portrait of Destiny', the music that (I'm pretty sure) plays during the ending credits.
