The Chaos Within

As promised, with 5 reviews comes 2 additional chapters. What, did you think I was lying? And don't worry, Amy doesn't do anything NASTY to him. Jeez, did you REALLY think I would have her do something like THAT to the worlds most obese mad scientist?

She lands on the colossal colossus, digging in with Rouge's pick nails. She busts her way into one of the airducks as she morphs to liquid again, feeling out the location of the emeralds.

Meanwhile, in the bridge, Dr. Robotnik is occupied with his next evil scheme to finally get rid of Sonic once and for all when the "pressure loss" alert suddenly comes up. He looks closely at the location of the leak and presses a button to stop it up, then going to one of the cameras within the ducts there. What he sees, he cannot believe. Rouge turning into a liquid puddle, as if she were... were...

"Chaos... It cannot be... He was sealed back into the Master Emerald, wasn't he? No matter, I come prepared for any intruder that may try and break in."

He presses another button, activating the defensive mechanisms within the ship itself, bolstering the security of the three Chaos Emeralds that were powering this flying fortress.

"He won't get them THIS time. He may be the God of Destruction, but he's still just a stupid beast. I did not know that he could morph forms like that, though..."

Amy exits the vent and morphs to her Chaos form. No need to let the cat out of the bag yet. She decimates the Egg Pawns that come her way, surprised at how easy it was. Eggman gasps as he sees Chaos make its way to the engine room where the Emeralds are.

"I KNEW I should have brought more robots on this trip... I was just planning on going on vacation for a couple weeks, then come back... But nooooooo... THIS had to happen. Of all things to go wrong, this is on the list of the worst..."

Amy busts her way through the reinforced steel door that leads into the engine room and takes what, she felt, was rightfully hers. They absorb into her, and she suddenly finds that she cannot transform properly into the Chaos 4 form... Yet. She's forced into the puddle form, having gotten what she wanted. She transforms to her own form and stares right at the camera, smirking, knowing that the doctor was watching.

"How in the... Chaos must have gained the ability to morph into others... I wonder... Perhaps it can speak now that it has a suitable form for such means of communication."

Robotnik activates the intercom, speaking into it both interested and afraid as he speaks to the AmyChaos. "C... Chaos. Is that you? Can you talk now? What are you doing here?"

Amy laughs to herself and looks back to the camera, replying

"I guess you could say that. I'm here for the Emeralds and... To talk to you. And since I've gotten one thing, I've got some questions for YOU, doctor. And I want to ask them in person."

Eggman sat there with a blank expression on his face, wondering what Chaos wanted, and if it was truly being sincere with saying it only wanted to talk. Not even a minute later, he heard a faint knock on the bridge door. He gulped and pressed the button to let in the unwelcome visitor whom he thought was only disguised as Amy.

"That... That was quick, Chaos... Now, what did you want to talk about?"

Amy chuckles to herself again. She already had the Chaos Emeralds, so there was really no point in hiding it any longer.

"Stop calling me that. Chaos is gone. It has given its powers to me."

"But then... Who ARE you? Surely, you can't be..."

Amy merely nodded to the egg-shaped doctor, confirming his first thought.

"Amy... How... Why?"

"I'll ask the questions, first, doctor. You've already HAD your turn. Now, do you know where the other Chaos Emeralds are? And what about Shadow? Where IS he? I haven't seen him since the Black Arms invaded. You surely must have SOME idea. You wouldn't want to end up like Rouge, Vanilla, Cream or Cheese, do you?"

As she names her victims, she transforms into each of them, transforming back into herself as she says "do you?"

"Amy... What have you done..."

"My question first, then it'll be your turn. Or I can find out the hard way, if you prefer. Either way, you'll find out what's happened. I'd rather find out now than a few hours later, anyway."

Robotnik gives the first look of true fear that he's given in a long time. This was not the Amy he had kidnapped on multiple occasions to try and coerce Sonic... The Amy he's come to know that used to tag along with Sonic. She was different... Chaos must have done something to her mind or personality... He gulps as he punches a few buttons on his console as the remaining three emeralds appear as yellow, green and red blips.

"These are the locations of the other Chaos Emeralds... As for Shadow, for all I know, one of these may point to him. I've not seen hide nor hair of him for a long time. Amy... It's my turn to ask the questions. What have you done? Why are you doing this? Not even I would go this far."

Amy chuckles as she sees the doctor which has menaced her and her... her friends... For so long, truly afraid of her. Friends... She looks down in remorse for what she's done and was planning to do, but her eyes glow green again as a shiver goes down her spine, causing her to look back up at Eggman, this time with a much fiercer, colder stare.

"Chaos came to me on my way home to my apartment. He ripped off my clothes and raped me, in the process, he started to take control of my body. He offered me a chance. A chance to finally get Sonic to be mine forever. With its help. It was either that, or be absorbed into it, mind, body and soul. So I accepted, and it gave me its powers. I can do anything that Chaos could do. And I've been assimilating anybody that would distract Sonic from me. Knuckles, Tails and Shadow are next on my list. When I take in somebody, I gain access to their personality, their memories and their abilities. I can effectively become them whenever I wish."

"And... What are you going to do to... Me?"

"Well, I'm here, aren't I? You just keep Sonic running away from me to save the day. Well, now I am going to save the world from one of your future schemes AND eliminate another distraction. You're lucky that I want you for your knowledge, Eggman. Otherwise, I'd just kill you. I won't enjoy being in your body, I'll tell you that right now."

Eggman stares at Amy for what feels like an eternity, then makes a sudden movement for the self-destruct switch. Amy blocks him with a watery stretched arm as she morphs into Rouge, completely naked, and jumps on top of him, whispering into his ear.

"Come now, doctor, you don't really mean that... After all, you're going to become just like the rest. Who knows, you might even grow to like it. Just try and hold still."

Amy then leaps directly into the giant doctor's mouth as she forces her way into his body. He lets out a painful scream as he's helpless to do anything. Already, he could feel control of his body slipping away. Amy realizes this as well, and thinks to Robotnik "Four emeralds really make a difference, it seems. I'll be done in half an hour! By then... So will you."

As Amy finishes absorbing herself into Eggman's body, the last words he mutters are "But I didn't even get to DO anything this time... This can't be happening... Sonic... Shadow... wherever you are... I hope you can knock some sense into her."

Robotnik then passes out and melts and reforms. A sly grin across his face, but then he gets a look of himself in the monitor's reflection, muttering "Disgusting." He melts and reforms to Amy as she makes her way to the bathroom to absorb the water she needs in the tanks before setting the self destruct sequence herself. The scene cuts to Amy climbing out of the sink faucet, looking completely refreshed as she morphs back to Rouge, goes back to the cabin and hits the self destruct button, and then kicks out a window, flying out of it.

"Everyone will think Eggman to be dead... But he isn't. Not really. I've always wanted an IQ of 300, anyway. Let's increase that by a bit by adding Tails into the equation."

Meanwhile, Chaos smirks to itself in Amy's mind.

"The personality shift is almost complete. She'll still be her, but with one hell of a mean streak. This is definitely worth everything it cost me."

In another chamber of Amy's mind, her victims lie in wait, Eggman freshly appearing, Rouge seeming to be stuck to a strange device on the wall. Vanilla is on the floor, hugging Cream, who is holding Cheese very tightly, all of them crying softly.

"Mommy... What's happened to Miss Amy? Why is she doing this?"

"I don't know, Cream... I just hope that she goes back to normal soon..."


Will Amy be able to resist any further darkness shifts to her personality? Will she succeed in absorbing Tails, and then Knuckles. And where in the world is Shadow? Find out in the next chapter!
