Story summary: Leon’s desperately in love with his younger brother Sora but will his little angel return his feelings or will he remain blissfully ignorant of the pair of eyes constantly watching him? Is he really as naive as he seems?

“Leon…”

Sora was calling me, again. That made it the fifth time in the last three minutes.

‘What could that kid possibly want help with now?’ I wondered to myself, he usually managed to get dressed just fine.

“What now?” I asked, sighing with frustration.

“I can’t fix my wings on properly.” The brunet looked pleadingly at me for help and I couldn’t help but fall for it, he was just too damn cute! Still is mind you…

I moved closer behind him and fastened the flimsy, glittering wings to the poppers on his white gown. He made a beautiful angel.

“My angel.”

“Possessive much?” He craned his neck round to face me and smirked mischievously. He was so evil sometimes, playing on my weaknesses.

“I just don’t want anybody else touching what’s mine.” I growled, getting more frustrated when his grin simply grew, what was his fucking problem??

“You’re cute when you’re angry.” He smiled and pressed his lips softly against mine.

Suddenly my anger seemed to melt away, not that I could let him know that, if he knew he had a weapon to make me do anything I’d never have my way. I pulled away from the kiss and glared at him, feebly.

“You really think that one little kiss will make me feel better?”

“Yep.” He chuckled before joining our lips once again.

‘Damned brat.’

“This place gives me the creeps.”

“It takes after its owner then.” I replied, my loathing for a certain platinum blond evident in my voice.

“Welcome to Riku’s Halloween party! Have a spookily wonderful time!”

The greeter was dressed all in black; a glow-in-the-dark skeleton was painted on the front of his jumpsuit. He was not scary in the least, but then neither was anyone else at the party; including me and Sora.

My brother, as you already know, was dressed as an angel. My outfit was slightly less holy; I was cowboy. Not original, but I looked hot in my wide brimmed hat.

“Howdy there partner! Looking might fine tonight.” Cloud greeted me cheerfully. I watched as his eyes raked appreciatively over my body, starting at the brown hat on my head, down past my unbuttoned, white shirt, past my skin-tight, brown leather chaps, right the way down to my black boots. His gaze was not welcome, he cheated on me and I was not going to forget that any time soon.

The blond was drool-worthy, I’ll give him that. His leather bondage gear really highlighted his toned body, but I was still pissed at him. I was content to let my anger pass until I noticed that the collar around his neck had a leash attached to it, and Sephiroth was holding the other end.

“Three years ago I would have appreciated that comment. But I don’t take compliments from whores.”

And I walked off… so maybe my words were slightly harsh, but he did break my heart.

“Leon! That was mean!” Sora hissed at me under his breath. I glanced at Cloud and realised he was right, the blond looked like he was going to cry. What had happened to our relationship? Why had Cloud betrayed me?

I followed my angel through the giant, arched, iron gates that marked the entrance to Riku’s mansion. His wings flapped gently as he walked, just as graceful in their movement as the boy himself. I found myself longing to hold him in my arms, and then I reminded myself that I could, he knew about my feelings now.

“Sora?”

“Yes?” He turned back to face me, an impatient look on face. I had a feeling he actually wanted to go to this party.

“Never mind.” I would get to touch him later, once we were inside, where no one would notice us.

He sighed softly and walked on, his hips swaying gently with every step he took. My heart ached, when had I fallen so hard for this gentle creature?

I knew the answer. He had been there for me after my heartbreak, with dad and with Cloud. Neither time had he understood what was going on but he still held me and whispered words of encouragement in my ear, convincing me that he was still there for me.

It was a dark night, winter nights often were. The moon was already out and it was only seven. Stars cast their eerie glow on the castle in front of us, illuminating it, making it look truly haunted. It was indeed a castle, being bigger than any typical mansion. It goes without saying that Riku is rich, stupidly so.

“Boooooooooooooooooooga!!!!!!!!!!!!” A man waving an axe jumped out in front of us, scaring the life out of me.

“Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!” Sora screamed and jumped behind me, his eyes wide with fear.

“Sshh… it’s ok, he’s not really gonna murder you.” I whispered reassuringly to the frightened boy using me as a shield.

“You sure?”

I looked up at the man standing in front of us and he flashed me a fanged grin. He was dressed all in black and held a large, but fake, axe.

“I’m sure.”

“Can we go inside then? I wanna see how good this haunted mansion is!”

I’m sorry it’s short… I was planning on there being like another five or six pages but then people kept begging me to update this AND All that is need is you so I’m posting this bit first…
