Chapter 6: Beginning of the Monster


J.C. and Leon walked down the dark hallway with their guns out and ready as the flickering lights flashed as they walked. Papers scattered every where, blood stained the floor as groans and moans filled the hallways. Leon scanned the hallways back and forth as J.C. walked in front of him slowly. J.C. looked at Leon with a slight fright and grin. Leon just gave a look trying to comfort the four teen year old gamer as he slightly shrugged. J.C. turned and looked at Leon and walked backwards.

J.C.: how long have we been walking down here?
Leon: I don’t know maybe an hour or more.
J.C.: you know that Darrius has been bitten.
Leon: I know…
J.C.: you know it’s just a matter of time before he changes into one of them.
Leon: I know… I’m just wondering why hasn’t he changed yet.

J.C. walked backwards and next minute he slipped on something and fell backwards. He had hit the floor so had that he got the wind knocked out of him. Leon ran over and saw that he had slipped on a pool of blood. Leon saw that the pool of blood was coming from the left side of the hallway, he scanned it all the way up to the source. He saw a girl knelt down on the floor wearing and green tank top blue Jean mini-skirt and white shoes. J.C. held out his hand so Leon could help him up, Leon grabbed his but still looking at the girl. J.C. got up to his feet. Leon held his gun up high and walked closer to the girl as he walked closer he heard crunching and gushing. Just then he heard crying.

The girl: It’s ok it’s ok it’s ok I still love you.

Leon stood next to the girl as she whispered. He looked over her shoulder and saw her stroking a man’s head. Leon looked closer and saw that the man was eating her thigh. Leon put his hand on her shoulder and she turned her head and looked at Leon with tears in her eyes.

The Girl: he’s just hungry because he’s sick so I’m taking care of him.

J.C. walked next to Leon and saw the zombie eating at the young girl’s thigh. Just then J.C. looked farther up the hallway and saw limbs of other people just laying there on the floor with bite marks and chucks taken off them. J.C. looked at the young girl a noticed that she was one of the girls that use to come in to the arcade and challenged him in Street Fighter, they were best friends.

J.C.: hey Leon that’s Jamie… Jamie Miller she’s my best friend.

Leon looked at him and then pointed the gun at her. J.C. put his hand on Leon and put the gun down.

J.C.: I’ll … I’ll do it.

J.C. then lifted his gun up and pointed at her.

Jamie: hi J.C… nice to see that your not sick.

Jamie leaned down to hold up her boyfriend and just then he grabbed hold of her shoulders and bit down on her neck. Just then J.C. looked away and pulled the trigger. He shot twice one of the bullets grazed the back of her neck and got her boyfriend in the temple of his head and the other bullet hit her on the side of her head. J.C. opened his eyes and looked back and saw them lying motionless on the floor. Leon put his hand on J.C.’s shoulder and looked down at them.

Leon: we need to keep going
J.C.: yea lets go.

Leon and J.C. turned around and walked a away. After about an hour of roaming J.C. saw flickering lights coming from a room.

J.C.: hey Leon look we might find more info, we might find something on maybe the experiments…come on

J.C. ran toward the door and then Leon followed just then they entered a laboratory were they kept all the viruses and experiments information. J.C. walked in with excitement. Leon walked in after him looking around, looking at the computers containing all the experiments and the viruses on the lab tables. J.C. lifted the sleeves of his jacket and walked near the computers and started typing. The information of every experiment came up.

J.C.: wow in the last three years they had one hundred and ninety failures and only three were successful. One called Nemesis another Licker-T and Alice but the Licker-t got out of control and had to be put down wow. Nemesis got destroyed in Raccoon City and Alice is M.I.A. well missing.

Leon walked over holding folders while skimming through them and then looked up at the computer and saw everything he was looking for. J.C. moved to the side and then Leon just started typing as J.C. walked away looking at all of the viruses. While Leon looked through the computer he saw a picture of J.C. and Chrissy. Leon kept scanning the computer, on the information on them.

“… Project J and project C are incomplete projects still in progress samples taken from Jonathan Carlos and Christina Carlos from parents Nina and Tyler Carlos. Numerous copies of them have been made for testing six of them have been injected with the T-virus and the G-virus and the same time to see what will happen to them. One of the J projects had to be terminated and the other one had been a perfect Bio-weapon. All information is classified. The C projects have not yet mutated…(three lines down) one of the J projects have escaped from the Bio-tube and not yet been found…”

Leon: oh my god they’re using these kids as experiments.

J.C. picked up one of the containers containing the G-virus and T-virus mixed together next to all of the T and G-viruses they were also in the needles as well. Just then J.C. heard a clicking sound and saw something off the corner of his eye. He turned around and saw a dog growling with its teeth showing and its half-rotted body. J.C.’s heart started pounding as the dog slowly walked closer to him slowly, it walked through the door and it entered the light. Its pale white eyes half rotted face its ribs showing and bone showing through its leg. J.C. walked back slowly and that signaled the dog to start running after him. The dog then jumped up in the air to rip the throat out of J.C. next minute Leon ran out and pushed J.C. out of the way and grabbed the dog as they both fell to the ground. J.C. got pushed in to the table where all the viruses were. Then J.C. got up with a pain in his neck, chest, ribs and right arm. J.C. looked and saw ten of the needles in his arm completely empty, six of them in his chest, two in his neck and eleven in his ribs. J.C. turned to lay on his back and ripped the needles from his neck and worked his way down, he then ripped the ones from his chest then his arm and then his ribs. He rolled down his sleeve down to cover the punctures of the needles. He laid there in pain as Leon kept struggling with the dog. He then pulled out the gun and point he looked at the dog and shot the bullet entered and exited the dog’s head. Then the dog fell to the side as Leon got up. J.C. tried to get up but he cut his hand and arm on the broken glass that was there then he felt something wet and look he saw the T and G viruses on his hand and arm. The viruses entered wounds. Then he looked and saw the viruses slowly turning into vapor. Leon got up and walked by the door. J.C. got up and followed Leon, they left the laboratory. Leon put J.C.’s arm around his neck and walked. J.C. had a pale face and then he started to sweat. After about an hour of walking they had made it to the door containing Shelly and the others in there. Leon knocked on the door and then it opened up with Shelly peaking through the door. She then opened it all the way and let them in. J.C. dropped to the ground coughing and sweating. Chrissy looked at him as he started to twitch on the floor. Darrius was leaned up against a wall a sleep.

Shelly: has J.C. been bitten?
Leon: no…no he hasn’t
Shelly: so why is he like that?
Leon: I don’t know
Shelly: well while you two were gone we found a map and found a way out and out of this city.
Chrissy: we also found a radio and the military and umbrella found out on the outbreak and… there…there gonna bomb this city.
Shelly: they’re gonna whip this city off the map.
Leon: then we need to get out of here.

Just then J.C. screamed in agony and started holding his arm. Next minute he opened his eyes and they were red and black. Leon and the others stood near the door and Darrius opened his eyes and saw J.C.’s jacket split and his spine popping and bursting out of his skin.

Hi it’s me again. Well this is all I could think of for this chapter. The next Chapter is gonna be a song fic well half of it will be. Well J.C. has been injected with the G and T virus so we don’t know what will happen. I hope you enjoyed it.
