Title: Kingdoms of the Heartless
Chapter: Chorus
Rating: R [ NC17 later on. ]
Pairings: Riku – Sora
Comments: I wrote this chapter, lost it, re-wrote it. Gar. AND its taken me three days to update. Wow. I shouldn’t be so picky about it, but I tend to loose my thrill in stories rather quick. Anyway. I only have one warning for this chapter, and that is that they get a little frisky. Nothing overly so though. Enjoy.

Squaresoft and Disney own Kingdom Hearts, and I make no money from this.
Sora carefully opened the gummy ship door.
And beyond it, was more snow. It coated the ground in thick, vast layers, untouched. The mist rising was mostrom rom the gummy ships cooling engine, and another part was from the world itself. It made it difficult to see, and thusly, harder to make out those tents in the distance.
The hills in the distance were light blue. They rose up from the mist, and were the next clearest thing to the gummy ship. And the sky above looked like smears of gray, without any real forms or values. It was rather depressing if you looked at it too long.
But Sora’s main concern was the dragon. He peered out through the cracked door, teeth clattering, as he watched the tall beast come closer… and become smaller. Until finally, and small lizard trudged through the snow, waving his arms to throw off the smoke.
“ Man, what’s wrong with you? You blow more smoke than I do!” The little red lizard shouted, stopping to rub his small hands together.
“ Your just a little lizard.” Sora said, squeezing out from the ship, Pluto following behind him. The little red lizard fumed.
“ Dragon! I aint don’t all this helping stuff to be called a lizard.” He snorted, smoke puffing out of his nose, though a rather pathetic amount.
“ Alright… dragon. Have you seen my friends?”
“ Friends? Oh, I think I’d know if I saw more freaks running around like you. And my names Mushu. None of that dragon stuff.” Mushu blew warm breathe on his little clawed hands.
“ But… their gone.” Sora said nervously, looking around. All he saw now was white mist, combining with the snow, and the rather sad looking gummy ship.
“ Gone? Ehh, not my problem. Just get back in that…. Thing, whatever it is.” The dragon motion to him, sweeping his hand violently to the side. Sora’s expression merely hardened, pulling his hands into the deep sleeves of the coat he still wore.
Mushu turned away from him, his tiny tail flicking to the side, marking the snow as he went, and begun off into the mist. Sora watched him, then slowly begun to follow in his tiny tracks, Pluto tromping along behind him.
“ Can you help ind ind them?” Sora tried to ask as pleasantly as he could. Mushu stopped, flicked his tongue out to taste the air, and then changed his direction.
“ Cant, sorry. Looking for my friend, Mulan. She went off after guys in black raided the camp.” Mushu scampered a little bit faster when Sora was closing in on him.
“ I can help you… You help med myd my friends, and I’ll help you find yours.”
Mushu looked at him, his pace slowing until he came to a stop. Sora had to take a step back, to be able to look down without craning his head all the way forward. The little dragons whispers, flandering out from the side’s of his mouth, which were once out straight, had now gone limp rather dead looking.
“ You serious about that?…I’ve never had anyone help me before.” Mushu looked down, and begun to chew on a hangnail, “ Not since Mulan… and she’s gone now.”
Sora smiled a little bit, though it was forced. agueaguely wondered if Mushu could tell, “ Yeah, well, I know what its like to loose a friend.”
// It was so bright, it hurt to look at the water.
Reflecting the sun, the water was just as warm, and yet cooling at the same time, if you were swept out deep enough. Most of the islanders were swimming today on the main beach. Little known was the tinyoon oon pushed off to the side, where no one would find it. Unless, of coarse, if you knew how.
Riku was first to splash into the water. It flew up about his feet, glittering like diamonds when they fell back down. And Sora was right behind him, leaping every few step so that for half a second, he would glide over wat water, and splash back down.
“ Come on, Sora, you slow poke!” Riku laughed, and a moment later disappeared underneath the water. Sora himself was laughing, until his foot caught on a rock below him, and he went flailing into the water face first.
He emerged a moment later, shaking his head dislodge small droplets of water. Wiping at his face, he glanced between his fingers tips, surveying the amount of water that Riku had once been, before disappearing.
Dropping his hands and pivoting on the spot. In those clear blue waters, the tanned sand rolling softly beneath it, Riku was no where to be seen. Sora worried his eyebrows together and drifted out a little further, beginning to call.
“ Riku! Riku, where did you go?” Sora’s voice faded out slowly, and he frowned deeply.
“ Right here, Sora.” Riku was suddenly behind him, arms around his waist tightly. Taking Sora with him, Riku jumped up a few inches, and splashed down onto his back, with Sora struggling in surprise against his chest.
And being wise enough to take a deep breathe before being submerged, Sora twisted in Riku’s arms, pushing at him some. Riku grinned widely, playfully, with a few air bubbles escaping the corner of his mouth.
Slowly rising to the surface, Sora’s head broke the smooth water first. He gasped and coughed, punching at Riku’s chest when the white haired boye upe up snickering.
“ That wasn’t funny, Riku! I thought that you—“
“ Drowned? You know me better than that, Sora. I’m the best swimmer on the island.” Riku smirked, dri drifted back a few itches, reclining his head and lifting his feet. Sora took the moment to admire the way little droplets of water slowly rolled off the upper part of Riku’s chest, down across the hard rises of muscle.
“ Just… don’t ever do it again, okay?” Sora’s voice had gone quiet. He was trudging out of the water in nothing more than a dark pair of cotton boxers; they hardly wasted time to fetch their swimsuits, and always just went like this. Much more conveinant.
“ Don’t be angry, Sora.” Riku was following after him, swimming. He moved through the water like some kind of merman, barely causing any ripples in the water. So graceful. Sora turned and sat once he was mostly out of the water.
“ I dont want to swim anymore, Riku.” Sora snorted, and flopped back into the wet sand. Washed up onto the shore beside him, crawling up on his hands and knee’s a few feet, then stretching out on his side.
“ Well, the water’s too nice just for us to lay up here.” Riku commented, supporting his head on his hand. Sora shrugged, staring off across the flat ocean. Riku tilted his head a little, and noticed that Sora’s eyes were the exact same color as the waves gently rolling across their feet.
“ I don’t care.” Sora pouted like a little kid.
“ Mm Sora, I think you need to eat more.” Riku smiled, changing the subject. He reached out to run his fingers along the boys protruding ribcage. Sora wiggled a little, and Riku started to tickle the spot there, lightly.
“ Ack! Stop, Riku! That tickles!” Sora barked out laughter and tried to hold his sides, shoving at Riku’s hands at the same time. Riku snickered and leveled himself with a leg between Sora’s thighs, to reach his other side.
Sora was arching and twitching, pushing now at Riku’s broad shoulders. Kicking his legs around… and aiming an accidental kick right to the apex of Riku’s legs. He made a noise that Sora hadn’t heard before, and fell off to the side, rolling on his back and away from Sora, his hands instantly going to sooth the area.
Sitting up and leaning over a little, Sora was still laughing off the last little aftershocks from the assult, peering over Riku’s shoulder, “ Hehe… sorry, Riku.”
“ Payback, I guess.” Riku grinned ruefully, his eyes watering a little as he squinted to force them open, staring off into the distance. Sora sat back and awkwardly laid a hand on Riku’s shoulder, patting there.
“ Did I really get you that hard?” Sora asked quietly. Riku rolled onto his back, one hand still wedged between his legs.
“ Lets just say you don’t know your own strength, okay?” Riku’s face had flushed a little bit. Probably from pain. Sora’s heart grew heavy from guilt and scooted closer to his friend.
“ Is there anything I can do for you? You know… to distracted you from the pain?” Sora felt odd saying those words. Almost as though he should be. And well… it was his fault that Riku was in pain to begin with.
Riku’s eyes had snapped open at Sora’s words, and he looked at him, the corners of his eyes red and veiny, reaching for the aqua center. Then he flashed a rather forced smile, and reached out for Sora’s thin arm with his one free hand, pulling him closer.
“ You can start with this, Sora.” Riku ran his finger down the long, pale expanse of his neck, and down to the middle of his strong chest. Sora watched that one long finger travel down, eyebrows coming together a little. Riku had to clarify, “ Your lips.”
“ But Riku!” Sora gasped, his eyes retracing the path Riku had made, “ You said friends don’t do that,”
“ Well then, Sora. I guess that we’re more than friends.”
Sora pondered those words. For as long and hard as his still childish mind would allow him. Then, flushing the thought from his mind, he tilted his head and came in closer. He first begun with a very light brush of his lips, just at the light blue vein he could see throbbing there powerfully.
Riku had tilted his head back a little, giving Sora ample room to press kisses, soft little suckling ones, resting them here or there for extended times. Riku’s skin was so soft… it was hard to believe that he just wasn’t a statue covered in silk. He was warm and cool at the same time, the throbbing vein quickening against his tongue.
By the time he reached the base of Riku’s throat, his friend was breathing deeply. His arm had gone to wrap around his waist, a few inches above where the band of his underwear begun. His fingers were touched the ticklish skin covering his ribs, making him snort against Riku’s collarbone.
“ You said you’d stop, Riku.” Sora looked up at him, his eyes wide and bright, compared to the rest of his tanned face and dark hair. Riku turned his head against the sand and smiled at the touch of the brunettes lips, on his sternum.
“ I couldn’t help it, Sora. You just so sensitive.”
“ Its not my fault.” Sora begun to stray from the path. He mapped out his own terrain across towards his friends right arm. He lost himself in the slide of skin across his lips, how warm it was, how it prickled under his breathe. But then he came across a rise in it all.
This tender little piece of flesh was darker than the rest, pebbled and hard. Sora first found it when it dragged across his chin. And when he did, Riku hissed, through his teeth, a sound that might have been mistaken for the swells of the ocean.
Sora grinned a little, and pressed his tongue to that piece of flesh, licking slowly, the way he saw he housecat do to its own paws. Riku seemed to enjoy this, twisting his arm around Sira, so that now his fingers dug deeply into that moist chestnut hair.
And when Sora begun to lightly suck…. He thought Riku would loose it. His friend arched his back and groaned deeply
“ Mm …” Sora was growing braver, and bit his nipple. Riku muffled a sound in the back of his throat, and his fingers were growing tight in Sora’s hair. So tight, that he was almost pulling his hair out by the root.
Suddenly, Riku gasped and tossed to the side, pulling Sora off of him. He was sitting up now, breathing deeply, his pale cheeks reddening in such a way, that Sora thought he may have gotten sun burnt. Something about Riku drew his eyes down, and what he saw made him gasp; something large and stiff was tenting Riku’s boxers in a strange way, but he only saw it for a moment. Riku quickly crossed his thighs and begun to scuttle into the water.
“ Riku… whats wrong!” Sora called after him, his lips still tingling from the feel of his friends skin.
“ I’ll tell you when your older!” //
“ The Huns?” Sora repeated. The small dragon nodded, and took another wiff of the air.
“ Yeah… they started attacking China like, ten years ago or sumthin like that. I wasn’t really paying attention to Mulan when she talks, because she beams off in her own direction.” Mushu was a quick talker. He sped up, stumbling his way through the snow.
“ Do you think they could have taken Goofy and Donald?” Sora asked, almost afraid to hear the answer.
“ Maybe. They just got done pillaging us like, three hours ago. Tryin’ to follow them while the trail is still hot.” Mushu slithered his tongue out again. Sora whimpered in worry and looked back at Pluto, who was following rather close, his head down. Almost like he understood them.
“ Well… what are these… Huns, like?”
” Nasty. I think they were Huns. They were with the rest of em, but they were big and black, and cloaked. If that helps any. Dunno what those freaks were.” Mushu looked up at him, a took sticking out.
“ The Heartless? What would they be doing here?” Sora’s eyes widened, and he placed his hand over the Keyblade at his waist. Mushu looked confused.
“ Heartless? I think Huns are always heartless. “
“ That’s… not really what I mean.”
“ I don’t understand you then, man. Your some wacko. Are all humans like you and Mulan?” Mushu squacked, throwing his little clawed hands into the air.
“ Hmph…” Sora could feel the hairs prickling on backback of his neck. He blew out a shuddering breathe, and turned to look, just in time to see a firecracker come barreling down.
“ Move!” Sora grabbed the small dragon, pulling Pluto by his collar, out of the way. And just in time. The firecracker exploded on the ground, sending snow and little pieces of paper all around it for about a three foot radius.
“ The Huns!” Mushu quickly squirmed his way to the back of Sora’s neck, peering out from underneath a piece of hair. Something was heading towards them from out of the mist; large purplish grey monsters, chomping their way through the air, following by black caped horsemen, with dark bow and arrows, all aiming at him.
“ Heratless!” Sora yelled, and raised his Keyblade for the fight.
