Part 5
Rouge and Tom have been married for twenty one years and ten months
as of this chapter.
---------------------------------------------------------
The GUN records room was as well-polished as the rest of the facility,
despite being buried in a sub-basement level. The elevator doors opened,
Teal pushing a cart loaded with boxes towards records storage. Papers
and digital files that would need to be indexed and stored. Reports.
Teal didn't care for this job. She was hauling papers instead of
doing the big jobs.
Buzzing in, the door slid open. Inside, Teal saw the clerk, a
seventeen year old female bat that had worked there for six months.
Rolling the cart up to the desk, she signed in. "More crap to put
away..." she muttered. Teal often wondered where GUN found places to
store it all. She knew that the group didn't stick strictly to digital
copies- pulling papers had never been too hard.
The bat looked at the boxes. "Like I don't have enough work..."
Teal noticed something off. She'd never paid much attention down here,
but something wasn't right. Her brain finally processed the change.
The clerk had black fur in a long ponytail, but the long pink streak
was out of place. "You noticed!" she said, catching Teal's gaze. "Yeah,
I was... umm, inspired by the brown streak you dyed into your fur."
"That's not dyed in," Teal responded.
The clerk muttered out, "...huh... well."
"Yeah. I have to get going." Teal wasn't sure why she had to go,
she had no assignments but she didn't see a need to stay down here.
"Wait!" The bat had shouted out in a hurry. "Teal... right?"
She replied, "yeah. Same name I sign in with every time I'm down here."
Leaning forward, the clerk seemed to be getting flirty. "Your mother's
a legend in GUN. What're you doing pushing papers, anyway?"
"I..." Teal didn't feel like explaining herself.
"Oh, guess it's not my business. But uh... listen..." Teal waited for
her to spit it out. Playing with her bracelets, she finally asked,
"don't take this the wrong way but... you wanna go out later?"
Teal's jaw dropped slightly. "You mean... not as in 'hanging
out', but... I have a boyfriend, sorry."
The clerk shrank back. "I am SO sorry, I didn't- uh, forget I said
anything, okay? I didn't know!" She seemed ashamed to have asked. "Really,
I didn't mean to-"
"It's okay," Teal said. "I'm just... I don't go that way but...."
Turning, she started to walk away, only for her feet to stop. "What's
your name?"
The clerks ears perked up. "Seriously?"
"Yes, seriously, I never asked before. I'm NOT changing my mind, I just
want to know!"
"Right... my name's Tiff."
Teal asked, "Tiffany?"
"No, just Tiff," she replied.
Teal explained, "listen, I might know someone who... would be more your
type. But let me talk to them first, okay?"
Tiff smiled blissfully. "Yes! Thank you, Teal!"
"Right... I should get going in case they have more work from me. And
don't worry, I won't tell anyone what happened down here. It's- it's
no big deal, okay?"
---------------------------------------------------------
Rouge clipped her jewelry in place, looking in the mirror with pride.
Hands slipped over her bare shoulders. "Tom... not yet, we haven't
even left the house..." she scolded. Her strapless black dress
tempted him. They were going out. Nowhere special, just out.
Fiddling with the TV, June watched them headed for the door. "You two have
a good time. I'll be fine here."
"I don't know when we'll be back, okay? Tom and I might slip off to the
casino if we feel a bit... anyway, Teal should be home from work soon."
Grabbing her purse in one hand and Tom by the other, she raced for the
front door, barely squeezing past her daughter. "Oh, you're home."
"And you're leaving?" Teal asked, a bit surprised.
"We're going out to have some fun," Tom explained.
Rouge said, "while we still can... June's home, so... you're not going
out with Slate tonight?"
"No," Teal said, "he's helping back home so I'm sitting out tonight.
You two have a great time, don't worry about us!" Kissing her
daughter, Rouge led her husband through the door.
Inside the main hall, Teal kicked off her work boots. She hated them.
Her fingerless gloves were tossed aside. She couldn't understand
the concept behind fingerless gloves. Toes stretched, free from the work
day as she headed for the kitchen. The container of strawberry yogurt
called to her like a siren. Grabbing it, digging out a spoon, Teal
headed for her room.
She spotted June on the couch. "Hi, June..."
"Didn't hear you come in. They left already."
"Yeah, I passed them on the way in," Teal said. Beginning to walk away,
she stopped. "Right... JUNE! Um... listen, I-" Her face turned a bit
red.
"Yeah?" June was interested to hear.
Blurting it out, Teal explained, "I met someone at work you might be
interested in."
"Really?" June's curiosity was held.
Teal continued, "she's seventeen and a bat."
Impressed, she said, "another gay bat, what're the odds of that? So...
keep going..."
"Well, she's a GUN employee but- I think she's a bit goth, too."
"How goth?" June inquired.
She said, "black fur, dyed a pink streak in it, likes tacky, bright
jewelry."
"Please, that's not goth," June shouted out. "That's barely rave
material. So, how'd you find out about this one?"
Turning away, Teal said, "not important."
Laughing, June taunted, "she hit on you, right?"
"NO!" Teal didn't want to talk about it. "Just asked me out
and I said I have a boyfriend!" Pulling out a strip of paper, she
waved it. "You want this or not?"
"Fine, geez, don't freak." June looked at the paper. "Phone number?"
Teal handed it over. "She was interested in a date tonight, so... not
like you have anything better to do." Looking at the scribbled
number, she picked up the phone.
---------------------------------------------------------
The doorbell rang. And rang. Running for the front door, Teal opened
it. "TEAL! Uh... I didn't know you lived here." "Tiff... June's inside.
Come in." She led her guest into the living room where June waited.
The two looked each other over. "I didn't know you had a sister, Teal..."
"I'm not her sister," June corrected.
"Oh... you look a lot alike, so..." Tiff looked June over carefully.
"Wow... you're, uhh... pretty."
"I'm going to leave you to alone, okay? Bye, have fun..." Teal said,
walking off.
"Teal said you asked her out." "Yeah," Tiff replied, "I didn't mean to
freak her out or anything, but... well, never know 'til you ask
someone."
June smiled. So far she seemed happy. "You like Night Babylon?"
"Never been there but I heard it's a bat's city. Uh... is Rouge home?
I've been wanting to meet her for a LONG time..."
"She's out with her husband. But... we might run into her, actually. So,
where do you like to hang out?"
---------------------------------------------------------
Rouge walked down the streets of Night Babylon, Her husband holding her
hand. "We haven't been out like this for a while. Want to go see a
movie?" Tom asked.
"No," she said. "Back to my place now... I can think of a better way to
spend a couple hours than sitting and watching a movie..."
The streetlights illuminated roadside benches. Rouge spotted a familiar
form. "June! I thought you were home?"
"Sis, no... I-"
Tiff asked, "Sis?"
June explained, "Tiff, Rouge is my sister."
The black bat looked up. "Wow... I woulda thought Rouge would be older
than that..."
"She is," June said, "she's, uh- older than you need to know, okay?"
Rouge spoke, "I'm only forty, June! It's not THAT old... who's your
friend?"
The bat stood, grabbing her hand. "I'm Tiff. I work in the GUN records
room. I've been wanting to meet you for SO long... you're a legend!"
"Thank you," Rouge said, Tiff letting go. "June never said she had any
friends..."
"Rouge, dear, I think they're on a date," Tom pondered.
"Bingo," June shouted out.
Smiling, Rouge said, "of course! I- you two having fun?"
"June is AWESOME!" Tiff fluttered her wings, hovering a few inches off
the ground.
Checking her watch, Rouge muttered, "well, you can tell me about it
tomorrow, okay? I'll let you two get back to your date. Have fun, and
be careful!"
They watched Rouge walk away with Tom. "Don't mind sis, I think she's
just new to this."
"I don't care about that," Tiff said. "She's nice. She's cool with you?
So no big deal."
"Yeah, sis took it well when I told her. So, uh..." Tiff looked her in
the eyes. "You wanna stay out some more?" Without a word, June took her
hand.
Squeezing back, Tiff replied, "I have tomorrow off, so... sure!"
---------------------------------------------------------
The door the casino apartment slammed shut, Rouge clicking the locks
in place. In a quick leap, she sprang forward, tacking Tom to the couch.
Kissing deep, she stopped only long enough to breathe. "Date's over.
Fun's just started. And I'm not even wearing any panties..." she
said, smiling.
"You're not- you mean you were walking around all night with your-"
She shook her head, an evil grin on her face. Jumping to the floor,
Rouge slowly slipped the heels off and unzipped the back of her dress,
letting it fall loose to reveal her nude body.
Straddling Tom, she messed with the buttons of his shirt, throwing aside
his tie. "I like being naked around you. Makes me feel young..."
pulling his shirt open, she asked, "you want to be naked around me?"
Unzipping him, she pulled his pants off. "Look at you, not quite but
you're in the mood."
"I haven't had dinner yet. I want to eat something before we do that,"
he said, inviting her to stand over him. Feet on the cushions, Rouge
placed her muff in his face, pulling one leg up onto the top edge of
the couch to spread herself.
Grabbing her leg for support, Tom began to lick, his other hand gently
tickling her tail. Feeling dirty, he let a finger free to tickle her
ass hole. Unable to help herself, she laughed out loud. "TOM! That's
very ticklish back there!" He continued tickling her as he licked.
"But damn, does it feel good!"
Moaning and laughing, Rouge couldn't help but orgasm, a slight stream
spraying Tom's face. "You need a new title," he said. "Ejaculation
queen sound good?"
Grinning, she slid down, gently easing his dick inside
of her. "I'm not going to ride you, Tom, I just want to make out. Let
friction do the rest."
"Sounds good," he said, "but I am going to tickle your feet."
"Wonderful," she responded, leaning in, taking him by the lips. The
tongues practically wrapped around each other.
She winced as he began running a finger gently over the bottom of her
foot. Continuing her kisses, she enjoyed the sensation. She liked being
tickled. It always seemed to enhance her pleasure when she was making
love.
