Chapter 5: Sins of Tomorrow
"OK there should be a camera if this is one of there new Bio-Weapons", Owen gripped the head of the fallen Tyrant, Bio-Weapon after a moment he found the optic code and GPS tracker unit and than the Carma. "Shit! you can see me still, OK fine, I'm Captain Owen Harper of SF9, my Employee number is 7653SF9 my code is Dawn-bringer" Owen glared into the lens "why the fuck did this thing attack me, i have have a priority evac, Miss Naomi Lovecraft, that's Dr. David Lovecraft's wife and shes carrying his child, you bastards", Owen sighed and walked away from the body as he crossed the room he griped his stomach and fell to the ground. Owen coughed and gagged spitting up large amounts of blood, as he looked over to the back door, it opened and Naomi ran to him "Owen!!, whats wrong?, OH God, lets get you back into the Security room, Owen pushed away from her and growled "No..time train is coming, i hear it", Naomi frowned "Owen! your hurt..what should i do?", he smiled at her and handed out his shotgun "wait for the train, get me aboard...kill anything that moves.." Owen passed out.
Naomi heard the train after all, it was close very close and she knew she had a time limit. She had grabbed the back of Owens armor and pulled him to the edge of the tracks and just as he said the train arrived, but it was empty of threats to her relief. The Train car was well stocked with medical kits and weapons, Naomi pulled Owen onto the train and laid him down on one of the many benches that lined the interior of the car. Owen opened his eyes and looked up to see Naomi clutching one of the kits. "Naomi..hurry press the button to move the car...NOW!!", Naomi looked down at him and saw that he was shaking with his eyes glaring over at the still opened door of the train car. Naomi dropped the kit and backed away shaking with fear.
The creature slowly stalked them scanning them from the other side of the car, its red glowing eyes striking fear in Owens soul, than to even add salt to Owens wounds it walked out of the shadows "Crimson head....Zombie", Owen quickly stood up and pulled out his 9mm and fire a burst of rounds, the Crimson head evaded them and charged at Owen and slashed at Owens stomach. Owen was too slow and was hit his stomach was cut open deep, he screamed out in agony and buckled over griping his stomach. Naomi screamed and pressed the start button to the car, the motion of the start knock the Crimson head off its feet, Owen looked up and quickly ran and jumped onto the creatures chest punching it in the side of it head "DIE! DIE!! DIE!!!" -he yelled slamming his fist into its face.
The Crimson Head rolled and pined Owen to the ground. Owen and tried to fight the beast his fist slamming to its face and chest but another slash of its claws sliced open Owens face and neck sending blood splattering across the floor of the car. Naomi watched in horror as the monster leaned down and bit into Owens neck ripping a nice piece of flesh away. Owen was lost in the pain in groaned out to Naomi, she scream out and ran at the Crimson head and knocked it back she quickly grabbed Owens Shotgun and fired blasting the Crimson head Zombie as it rose to its feet the impact blowing it head clean off. Naomi ran quickly took Owen into her arms as he lay dying, His blue eyes glanced into hers as he tried his best to speak "Naomi,..live..survive have your baby...you..must..live..don't kill self...just remember that i love you.." Owen gave her a warm smile as he clutched her hands as his heart stopped.
The Train car finally stopped a few minutes later, but that really didn't matter to Naomi, she had lost everyone she has ever cared about and more. She knew she had a even more deadly problem now. She was one her own and pregnant as she exited the train a voice rang out from the intercom "Welcome to the Hive". Naomi slowly walked over to the security center and walked in to her surprise a group of people stood around a computer talking amongst themselves "this is strike force 9 agent Death-bringer I'm with Dusk-bringer and Chaos-bringer we need assistance and code to exit the hive it has been lost Bio-weapons have taken over...i repeat!! the hell" the female agent at the computer looked over at a blood soaked Naomi "Who are you?" she asked the other agents surrounded her there M-16s ready to fire "I'm Naomi...Lovecraft...please help me", she muttered barely able to stand it any longer "Wait lovecraft that's Harper's Evac code.." Said one of the agent's name Chaos-bringer "yeah!..Harper Captain Harper where is he??" asked the other male agent named Dusk-Bringer.
Naomi fell to her knees and burst into tears, the female agent quickly ran over and embraced her "hes dead....my love is dead". Naomi fainted shortly after, "Riggs dammit, now Harper!!.
