Genis' Desperation
A/N: I can’t believe I’m writing this! Maybe I’ll finish this during this chapter. Maybe. Hopefully. I really hope I do. Honestly. Really this time! Really really!! Anyway... this chapter has some of a DIFFERENT pairing (GASP), and I can guarantee you that on AFF at the very least it’s not one that’s been written before! And because of that pairing... the story’s going to end very differently... so here we go!
Extra Warning: Geezus. This chapter’s depressing. Seriously. Horribly. I... I got really hot writing the smut for this chapter (It’s non-con, with a minor... and it is NOT Lloyd/Zelos or Genis/Lloyd like you might expect, either! In fact, this pairing’s never been touched on AFF...), but then... well... after I did the part after it, I felt really, really sad. And guilty. I can’t seriously believe I did this... This is almost a worse thing to do to poor Genis then when I had him sacrifice his life to save Mithos... Hell, the whole story’s about to get really angsty and depressive, and... well... there’ll be one or two more chapters following this (though I doubt they’re going to have any smut, there’s still a chance), and they’re going to follow that angsty theme... *Sigh* I feel like this story’s gone so rotten. I knew what I was going to do when I started writing this, but it just got so... so... sad when I actually got to this chapter...
(Appended Warning: Wow, I was SUCH a wuss when I first wrote this...)
-~-5: Genis’ Desperation-~-
Everybody was having a tough time, with Zelos having been injured by Sheena. She ended up under heavy fire from everybody else for acting so rashly, but when Zelos forgave her, everybody calmed down somewhat. Zelos had said that he had more than likely deserved it, after all - and apologised even more profusely to Lloyd for having accidentally flirted with Sheena once or twice, purely by accident. It had taken Lloyd a little while to respond, which everybody had expected, but in the end he forgave Zelos, and all was well.
Zelos ended up spending a couple of days in his room in Meltokio, being tended to by Sebastian, who had dealt with things like this involving the Chosen so often that it was really becoming quite routine and was quite good at treating injuries like this. He had to, since Raine steadfastly refused, perhaps because of all the pain he had caused the others.
“If he suffers a bit for all the pain he’s caused Sheena, Colette, and my little brother, well, he deserves it,” Raine said, calmly, when Lloyd had asked.
Although Lloyd had, at first, freaked out about Sheena’s attack, the injuries that Zelos had suffered weren’t very severe at all. However, a twisted ankle and badly rotated arm just needed to be rested up a couple days - a couple days that Lloyd mostly ended up spending by Zelos’ side... but strangely, their time together was becoming much more subdued. Zelos kept asking for Lloyd to ride him until the brunette was senseless, but Lloyd kept refusing, something that was bugging Zelos a lot. Of course, with all of the gifts he was getting from his admirers around town, he didn’t have much time to worry about that.
Of course, you should be able to guess from that that Lloyd wasn’t always beside Zelos. The others came to visit him, each on their own time. Sheena stopped by a couple of times to apologise for attacking ‘a part of the team’, only to be reminded that Zelos had forgiven her. Raine came by more than anybody else, for the sole purpose of, she said, ‘studying’ his behaviour - and each time she’d storm out of the room, leaving the already-injured Zelos with a slap mark. Regal and Presea visited once or twice, as friends, as did Colette. The one person, however, who refused to stop by, was Genis.
Genis hadn’t recovered emotionally one bit after his confessions to Lloyd, and things were only getting worse and worse. Even Raine, whom Genis was sharing a room with at the inn, said that he was barely even saying anything... and she was pretty much the only one who saw him any more, since he kept himself locked up in the room all of the time.
“...Is Genis okay?” Lloyd asked one morning, as Raine came down the stairs. The nod of the head he received in response was a subdued, uncertain one.
Little did they realise that Genis was sneaking out of his room at that very moment.
*****
“Hey there, squirt,” Zelos mused a bit, sitting up in his bed (for he was mostly recovered now), and looking up carefully as Genis walked over to him, as Sebastian shut the door behind the youth and walked away, leaving them alone.
Genis’ head was down, his ivory hair falling over his face and obscuring his features from Zelos’ view. Perhaps this was deliberate, an attempt to hide emotion... but from the way Genis was shaking a bit, the rest of his body solemn and quiet, it was obvious just how he felt.
“...Z... Zelos...” Genis whimpered, walking over slowly. “...Why?”
“Why, what?” Zelos asked, crouching on his knees on the bed and watching as Genis walked over.
“...Why does Lloyd like you so much? What did you do to him...?”
“...I didn’t do much. I just made him really happy,” came the honest response from Zelos, and the memories brought back a sly grin. Genis was nearly beside him now, his face still not showing, and he had frozen in his speech once again, as if trying to build up the courage to ask something.
“...How did you make him happy?”
“Did you want me to show you?”
Genis was perhaps not expecting that answer. He was expecting the answer of ‘Sex’, and that being the answer he had prepared for, he knew he would have been able to deal with it. Or perhaps, an answer that was really cheesy and corny about ‘admiration’ and ‘pure love’... but not this.
“...Wha-?”
The next thing Genis felt were two hands upon his hips, and spinning him around, and then he was pulled backwards, up onto the bed beside Zelos, who wrapped his arms around the smaller boy. The redhead’s breath was tickling Genis’ ear, making the boy squirm uncertainly. His mind was in a haze, trying to catch up with what had just happened.
And it wouldn’t for quite some time, as Zelos was progressing just as fast as Genis’ mind was working to review and catch up on, and thus make sense of, the predicament the lilac-haired boy was in. Quickly, Genis’ shirt was unbuttoned and opened, and both that and his undershirt were rolled up. The redhead leaned around and wrapped himself around Genis’ body, trapping the youth, as he licked at the child’s nipples.
“Tasty...” Zelos mused, as Genis’ mind began to finally make sense of just what was going on. Except, unfortunately, it was perhaps already to late to make a difference. Zelos had removed his Kendana, his only real means of self-defence, and thrown it somewhere in the room.
“Zelos, please, sto--“ Genis tried to cry out, attempting to squirm away, but it didn’t work. His voice was cut off by a slight surge of pleasure from Zelos’ tongue assaulting his chest. It also didn’t help that one of the redhead’s hands had worked its way into the front of Genis’ shorts and what he wore underneath, toying with Genis’ boyhood.
“No! Zelos!” Genis tried to squirm away again, but as Zelos lifted him up and then laid him down on the bed, hovering over him, Genis knew exactly what was going to happen to him... and he also doubted that Zelos was going to stop if he begged. The redhead masterfully pinned down the boy, holding down his legs by crossing over them with his own, restricting the boy’s arms above his head with one hand, and using the other to inspect every inch of Genis’ body. The feeling of the fingers made the half-elf shiver, but not in delight.
“Comeon, don’t complain. Admit it. You want me to teach you so you can be Lloyd’s little slut, don’t you?” Zelos grinned.
“No, no, I don’t!” Genis tried to protest, but Zelos shut him up with a very forced kiss. As Zelos pulled away, that sly grin was painted over his face that was barely even marked with exhaustion; poor Genis was already panting from his attempts to get away, and knew very shortly that there literally wouldn’t be anything he could do to stop Zelos from using him as a fucktoy.
“You can’t deny it, Genis,” Zelos whispered dangerously, and the free hand slipped down to the hem of Genis’ shorts, hooking at them and pulling down what little clothing remained to protect the boy. Genis gasped and intensified his struggle. So Zelos just stood there, hanging over him as he managed to somehow slip off Genis’ last garments, keeping the small boy pinned down as he exhausted the last of his stamina.
“...Zelos...” Genis panted, realising he was now completely beaten. “...Please, don’t...”
“Mmm... it’s been so long since I’ve had somebody as young as you in my bed...” Zelos mused aloud as he ignored Genis completely, reminiscing. “Why, I’m pretty sure my first was a young servant boy of your age... even half-elven, too. Oh, that’s quite a story to tell... but I’m sure you’re better than he was, after all...” Zelos grinned, releasing Genis’ legs and spreading them, situating himself between Genis’ legs, his clothed erection scraping up against Genis’ entrance.
“...Zelos...” was all Genis could get out, his mind was in too much of a panic to think of much else. His mouth stopped working altogether when he felt Zelos slide three fingers inside of his body suddenly, and a boost of energy made him thrash around for a few moments, determined to stop Zelos before he could go any further. It wasn’t working.
Without even really waiting to see if Genis was truly ready (perhaps it was due to extreme horniness, or a combination of that and the fact that Genis seemed so much like the half-elven servant he had raped at the moment), Zelos slipped his pants down, and pressed his burning hard erection into the smaller boy’s body.
Genis’ voice finally worked again, and he let an absolute scream rip out of his throat, as Zelos loomed over him, hands under the other’s legs, keeping them lifted up, as he finished his first thrust. Genis’ head fell back, his eyes shut tight from the pain, a tear or two dripping down from his eyes. Before he even had time to adjust to the intrusion, however, he found the pressure inside slipping away... and then a sharp thrust back in.
Another scream echoed about the room.
Seemingly encouraged by the defenceless boy’s screams, Zelos found that the friction around his cock was too much to take. Even at his first time, he’d never felt anything so... so very tight. It didn’t matter to him at the moment that nobody would ever forgive him for what he was busy doing, because his mind was so awash in pleasure that he found himself moaning loudly; his control was slipping in sync with his moaning and he found his thrusts getting harder, faster. Quickly, Genis had practically gone numb from the pain as Zelos’ thrusts became so rapid that it was as though he never actually ever quite moved... but that he still kept tearing away at the boy’s passage as if Genis was his sex slave or something like that.
Genis’ begging for a release of any form, however, were shortly to be answered, when Zelos finally reached his limit, climaxing hard and deep within the other. The warmth that filled Genis made his insides burn. He couldn’t move. He felt like he could barely even breathe, and he wasn’t honestly sure that he would want to. Zelos pulled out of him, a content look on his face, he expression distant and sated, like he had just had the best ride of his life... which he literally had.
Pulling his pants back up, Zelos dismissed himself from the room, leaving Genis spread-eagled on the bed, not even making a motion to clean himself up. Or any motion, at all. As a bit of blood and semen trickled out and down the inside of his thighs, staining the sheets, a couple of tears strayed down the sides of the small boy’s eyes.
Zelos once told me he hated half-elves... that that was the way he was brought up... I shouldn’t have ever doubted that people never change... especially humans... and if I don’t have that to believe anymore... there isn’t anything left for me to believe in...
*****
“Sir Zelos?” Sebastian inquired, as Zelos stepped downstairs, into the kitchen, a distant look on his face... but it was no longer sated. It was solemn, as if somebody had died.
“...Sebastian, please, would you mind leaving me for a day or two? Go on vacation or something...” Zelos waved him away, taking a seat.
“But, sir Zelos...!”
“Sebastian... I know you’re my friend, and everything. So I don’t want you to get caught up in what I just did...” Zelos ducked his head into his crossed arms, hiding his face. “But I...”
“Sir Zelos, I will not question you any further...” Sebastian looked at his younger master. “If you wish me to leave for a time, then I shall, and when I return, I will serve you as faithfully as I always have...”
“Forget it, Sebastian,” Zelos said. “Tomorrow, we’re going to the Tower of Salvation, and we’re taking Seles’ Cruxis Crystal there. And Mithos is going to remove my title as Chosen. When you return, you’ll be serving my sister.”
“Sir Zelos...!”
“...And after what I did... I don’t even know if you’ll ever see me again, Sebastian...”
“Sir...!”
“Please, stop!” Zelos cried over. “I don’t deserve that title anymore! I’m... please, Sebastian. I... I deserve whatever happens to me. And you’ve been such a good friend to me... the only true friend I’ve ever really had, I suppose... you pretty much were my father growing up,” there was a slight sobbing sound. “I never thought you’d outlive me, but it’s fairly likely now... you deserve a much better life than being the servant of a guy who’d hurt his friends on a whim...”
“Sir...”
“Don’t call me that!”
“Si... no... Zelos, it warms my heart to hear you speak of me... and I will not, as I have never before, question your judgement. ...But if you truly do not return, Zelos Wilder... I want you to know something...”
“...What?”
“...Your mother, who sent me a note when she found out she was going to be killed and asked me to become your servant... she said that no matter how you chose to live your life - whether it be upstanding and righteous... or down a darker path... she’d be proud of you.”
“...Mother...”
“Because no matter what anybody thought about you, she knew you’d live your life the way you wanted, whatever the consequences of that may have been. You are true to yourself, Zelos... continue to be that way...”
“...Thank you, Sebastian... you’re dismissed.”
“Very well, Sir Zelos.”
Zelos didn’t complain, as he heard Sebastian leaving the room, leaving him to his lonesome.

Lloyd Irving was hungry. He was worried, to say the least, that he hadn’t seen Zelos or Genis the whole day. Sebastian had locked off the mansion at Zelos’ orders (even as he caught him leaving town, something beyond incomprehensible to Lloyd, Sebastian said that he would not allow anybody to enter the house), and Genis had totally disappeared without even a note. They had spent the day worrying and searching, but there was no sign.
And now, that he was sneaking down into the inn’s kitchens from his room on the upper floors, intent on a midnight snack, he became quietly aware of the sounds of somebody else sneaking around downstairs. Though, they weren’t really sneaking. They were rather uncaring, actually. Slow, dragging footsteps.
Lloyd pondered a bit, and as he reached far enough down the stairs to attempt to see if anybody was entering the kitchen, that person was already inside. Perhaps he should have been able to spot the shadow, but the lighting in the halls were very poor - after all, it was night time. Carefully, he tiptoed his way towards the kitchen room door, listening as there was the sound of a drawer being opened. A thief?
Spinning into the room, Lloyd shouted. “Who’s there?”
A soft, slightly startled whimper was his only answer.
“...Genis?”
As if the lights had been turned on, suddenly the figure standing a short distance away was very clear to his eyes. His young friend was standing there, a long knife in hand, crossing over his throat. It took a moment for the mental image to set in, and then...
“GENIS!! NO!!”
