Part 5: The rise of Packbell

If there were a time that Snively wanted to kill his uncle, it would be now. He
was watching Robotnik's polymorphic android take shape. He thought that maybe
even with the copy of Packbell's programming, that Mecha-Sonic wouldn't stand a
chance. His robotic hedgehog was finished, but he dared not put it online for
fear of Packbell.
"Most impressive, isn't it?" Robotnik asked.
"Yes, sir, most impressive." Snively says trying to be as sincere as possible.
"Cmdr Packbell at your service." the android says as it finished taking on its humanoid look and saluting Dr. Robotnik.
"You see Snively, we are looking at the end of the hedgehog and the end of the rest of those other Mobians that plague this planet." Robotnik says.
"Sir, can he stand up to the echidna? Sonic maybe an easy target for this piece of work, but Sentinal is a different story." Snively says making a good point.
"I will deal with Sentinal once the hedgehog is eliminated." Packbell says glaring at the worthless human known as Snively.
"You see, Sonic is the most valuable one of them all. If we got rid of the echidna, they would still fight. The hedgehog has close bonds with most of them, especially the princess. He gives them the will to fight. Take him away, and
they will fall." Robotnik says clasping his hands in anticipation.
"I have the perfect plan. The next time they attack, I will disguise myself as an ordinary SWAT-BOT. Once I spot Sonic, I will attack as usual until he notices I'm not attacking like one of the normal machines that chase him. Then
it will be too late." Packbell says.

"What I say," Sonic says quietly to Rotor as the walrus quietly laughs at Sonic's antics.
"CHARLES says that Robotnik is finished with his pet project he's been working on. All that he can tell us is that he's working on a polymorphic android." Sally says. Most who were in the room scratched their heads except for Sentinal who looked like he had a poker face on.
"You must know something about this," Bookshire says turning his attention to the echidna.
"A polymorphic android is basically a shape shifter. Being a nonliving entity means that he can transform into anything living or nonliving. HE will not have his brain in his body. Most likely, Robotnik stored the thing's programming in the mainframe computer. This means that even if you kill his body, his "spirit" is still in the computer. Both, mind and body must be destroyed." Sentinal explains
to everyone in the room.
"Tomorrow, we go check it out." Sally says to the others and everyone left.

Packbell was the one sitting in the chair on the graveyard shift again. It had been 2 days already, and the freedom fighters did not show themselves yet.
"Sir, disturbance reported in sector G-7." a COM-BOT reported.

'As I suspected,' Packbell thought as he watched the usual suspects from that village distracting his forces while the princess finds out about him. "If he is not here, then where the hell is he?" Sally asks frantically. Sentinal's brain was going through all the possibilities trying to come up with the most likely conclusion.
"If Packbell was on duty tonight, then he could have posed as a SWAT-BOT. You wouldn't be able to tell it was him until he did something out of the ordinary. However, by the time you knew that it was him, it would be too late." Sentinal says.
"So what y'all sayin' is that he got ol' sugarhog?" Bunnie asked.

back to the city now, but she'd get him out, one way or another.

"I knew this day would come. Why haven't you roboticize him?" Robotnik asks.
"I wanted you to see what I had done, plus I would like to run certain painful tests before turning him into a mindless slave." Packbell says.
"Proceed, but make sure there's enough of him to roboticize and scrap afterwards Robotnik says as his android left the room.

"Good morning, hedgehog," Packbell says holding up a small device.
"Packbell, I presume," Sonic says trying to get out of the chains.
"You can't get out of those chains." he says coming to face the blue hedgehog. "Do you know what this is?" The android asks activating the device. Sonic's eyes widen in horror. When Packbell had pushed the button on the

"I wish they would've done that." Sentinal says.
"Then what is going on?" Rotor asks.
"This is low, even for Robotnik. Packbell is torturing Sonic. This is not the everyday run of the mill torture, its rape. I don't wanna go into great detail, but that's the gist of it." Sentinal says. The silence started in seconds, then turned to minutes as what Sentinal says

"Who's ah gonna tell Sally-girl about this?" Bunnie asks visibly shaken.
"I'll give her the note myself," Sentinal says walking out.

recovery room of Dr. Quacks hut, but he didn't know how the hell he got here. He

smiles as he lies back on the cot.
'Ya gotta love her. She must've been upset, but how'd she know,' Sonic

back here. I wonder how much he told her.' Sonic thought, but just before he
could ponder anymore, Sally stirred and opened her eyes to See that Sonic was up.

"Considering that I've found new levels of pain, I'm all right." he says holding her in his arms. She looks up and smiles at him. He could, no matter what serious problem he'd been through, he would turn it into one crack joke. He maybe a loose canon,
but when he's not faced with a serious situation, he just looks back upon it and finds some sort of humor in it.
"Well, good to see that you're both up." Dr. Quack says coming into the room.
"Hey doc," Sonic says smirking.
"I thought that I'd have to surgically remove Sally from you," Quack says to Sonic, which makes all three laugh.
"All right, what did that son of a bitch do to me?" Sonic asks.
"It was mostly scarring which you'll heal from, but I do have some bad news, and I'm glad your here to hear it, Sally, since it deals with the two of you." Quack says going into an explanation. Sally felt like she'd been hit by a hover unit, but she'd hadn't heard the
bad news yet.
"Sonic, your sterile. You can't have kids. I can't do much about it. You'll
still be able to mate, but the odds of having children are slim to none." Quack says
walking off to let the couple deal with it.
The two look at each other and then cradled one another. They were both

thinks to himself and then it hit him. 'Unc, he must've found out and sent word
back here. I wonder how much he told her.' Sonic thought, but just before he
could ponder anymore, Sally stirred and opened her eyes to See that Sonic was up.
"Sonic," she says wrapping her arms around his neck and hugging him. "Are you
all right?" she asks with concern on her face.
"Considering that I've found new levels of pain, I'm all right." he says holding her in his arms. She looks up and smiles at him. He could, no matter what serious problem he'd been through, he would turn it into one crack joke. He maybe a loose canon,
but when he's not faced with a serious situation, he just looks back upon it and finds some sort of humor in it.
"Well, good to see that you're both up." Dr. Quack says coming into the room.
"Hey doc," Sonic says smirking.
"I thought that I'd have to surgically remove Sally from you," Quack says to Sonic, which makes all three laugh.
"All right, what did that son of a bitch do to me?" Sonic asks.
"It was mostly scarring which you'll heal from, but I do have some bad news, and I'm glad your here to hear it, Sally, since it deals with the two of you." Quack says going into an explanation. Sally felt like she'd been hit by a hover unit, but she'd hadn't heard the
bad news yet.
"Sonic, your sterile. You can't have kids. I can't do much about it. You'll
still be able to mate, but the odds of having children are slim to none." Quack says
walking off to let the couple deal with it.
The two look at each other and then cradled one another. They were both
tearing up. Sally was letting it flow while sonic tried to be the strong one, but he couldn't. The two wanted eventually to continue the line, but with Sonic's damaged sperm, it would be hard to pick a ruler after they died.
