Chapter 5: Perfect Couple

"How's everything?" came a voice behind him, and Infernas turned around to see the man in black from before. He walked over to Infernas, seemingly inspecting him.

"Not so good Snidne. Lot's of worthless ones. This guy has potiental though."

"I see," the man named Snidne said, walking to the desk. "So, what's your name?"

"Wait, what the hell is going on here? What exactly do you guys do anyway?" Infernas shouted out, clearly annoyed and wanting answers.

Snidne smirked. He turned to the two behind the desk. "Your right for once Twonk. This guy is sharp." He turned to look back to Infernas. "Alright, I'll level with you. We are thieves. We go around stealing things. Of course, now that you know I guess we don't have much of a choice but to hire you. Congrats."

The shock seemed to pass through Infernas for what felt like forever. His mind just didn't seem to be processing it all. He was only vaguely aware of him standing up and introducing himself. Snidne gave a nod and turned to leave when the sound of shattering glass turned his attention back into the room. Infernas was standing next to a broken window. From then on, Infernas got to know everyone who ever had been accepted onto the team they were slowly becoming.
