Chapter five

Mauradon

Mauradon was a cave system. But it was more than that, the walls of these caves flourished with life. Flowers and vines grew everywhere, there were ponds and waterfalls scattered throughout the many pathways, and it was a stunning sight to behold. Elza was overjoyed at finnaly getting here, but Lynn... well... held a general dislike for plant life. Walking through miles of cave, of which 98% are covered in plant life, did not suit her. At all. Fortunately the resistance thus far had been minimal, and hopefully they would be out soon. "So, Lynn, why are we here again?" asked Elza. "To slay some princess because shes apparently very evil or whatever. I didn't really pay attention to why." replied Lynn. "Ah..." Silence for a couple of minutes. "What does she look like?" Lynn sighed. Not helping her mood. "You know those ugly mofos guarding Undercity?" "Yea?" "Imagine those green." Elzas eye twitched. Unpleasent image. They kept walking along, dispatching anything bothering to even try to stop them. 'For an "amazingly dangerous" quest, this is pretty easy so far... I wonder why that old doof was so worrie'"AHHHHHHHHHH" Lynns train of thought interrupted as a vine wrapped around her ankle and hoisted her into the air. "LYNN!" cried out Elza and she tried to jump and catch her arm, only to have a vine grab onto her waist and drag her to the ground. She grabbed her hammer and swung, but it did little against the many small vines that were now grabbing onto various areas of her body. She looked up in time to see Lynn bieng dragged through a hole in the side of the cave wall, but felt a sharp pain in her neck as one vine punctured her skin and released a quick acting poisen into her blood system. Unconcioiusness was immediate.

Waterfall. That sound is a waterfall. Birds... many different types of birds. Sound was the first thing to return to Elza. She opened her eyes. She was in a large room in the cave system, except that there was no roof to this room. The entire wall in front of her was a waterfall, half of the floor in front of it was a large lake On the other three walls were various flowers and vines and trees, like the rest of the caves. But it was the large tree in the middle of the lake that interested Elza the most. From a glance she gathered that it was most likely very old, but something was wrong about it. After a little bit she realised it was completely covered in the vines, who had seemed to have taken control of the tree. From there branced out the vines that still held her in place. She tried to move her arms and legs, but her body was apparently still, for the most part, numbed by the poisen from the earlier vine. Elza looked around again. No sign of Lynn, why would she be taken somewhere else? Maybe she escaped. Maybe it didn't matter. Maybe... Elzas mind raced with thoughts of what could have happened. She didn't notice herself being slowly dragged toward the massive tree, until she bothered to look up. The vines lifted her up slowly till her body was level with what looked like two holes in the trees bark. A large, booming voice could be heard throughout the chamber.

"And what have we here? Another pink skin attempting to travel through our halls? We will have none of that! What reason do you give for entering our realm?" Elza tried to answer, but she had yet to regain the proper bodily functions required for speech. "So, you continue to defy us by remaining silent? Very well! We condemn you to death, through torture!" The vines holding her lashed her back twenty feet back onto the rocky ground. There she layed while she watched long thick vines start to creep towards her. She willed herself to move, get up, do anything, but she couldn't find the strength too. Two vines began to wind up her legs, thorns cutting into her skin causing several wounds to appear and bleeding to start. Two more vines made their way to her arms and started to coil around those and move down. The ones on her legs had reached the top, and thankfully passed her point of entry and made their way onto her torso. the ones on the arms finished up there and made their way for her neck. Wouldn't last much longer at that point. But, however, before the vines started to shred her neck, they all stopped and held her in place. She wondered why, until she saw the large, thornless vine start to snake out of a hole in the ground nearby, and work its way to her. She tried to move again. She could move a little, her head, but that was about it. So she lifted up her head to see where the vine was going. No suprises there, straight between the legs. What DID catch her off guard though was the vine identacle to the first one that wrapped around her neck and forced itself into her mouth. Seconds after the first one entered her body.

'Raped by plants... not exactly a thing everyone can say.' Elzas mind was coming up with random things to try to distract her from the things being done to her. It wasn't working very well. And the fact that she was starting to... enjoy it... didn't improve all that much her efforts to try to escape. 'In fact, I think im quite happy where I am' Elza thought. Her body slowly relaxed, and the vines holding her down slowly untangled themselves from her. When she was free of the binding vines, she lifted herself up and turned herself over so that she was on her hands and knees, trying to give the main vines easy access to all parts of her body. The one in her sex started to slowly pick up speed, while the one in her mouth started to secrete some form of liquid which was quite sweet to the taste, and was promptly swallowed up by the hungering Elza. The juice kept coming as she noticed a third vine slowly rise up, this one covered in some form of slick slimy substance. It wound up her leg, came to a stop near her behind, and plunged itself into her. Her body stiffened up at the sudden addition of such a large new intruder in an area that has of yet to be intruded upon. The other vines, sensing this, stopped their motion until she relaxed enough for them to continue. Slowly they continued pumping themselves in and out of her now completely stuffed body. 'This feels soo gooood... and it tastes just as well' she thought as she continued to to swallow up the constant flow of liquid coming from the vine in her mouth. This would have gone for hours, if not the pillar of flame that erupted below Elza and disintegrated all the vines.

Elza took a breath and looked up to see Lynn standing next to her. Survived and escaped after all. When Lynn looked back down at Elza though, her eyes glew red with the power of her hexidicmal magicks. Apparently she had needed help. She looked back at the tree in the lake, raised her staff towards it, and uttered words that Elza did not know. Everything went black. Then from the tree erupted a pillar of green energy, which looped around and was absorbed into SoulKeeper. A shockwave of energy radiated out from Lynn, and Elza was knocked back several feet. In the dim green light she could see the vines on the walls of Mauradon slowly start to shirvel and die. Apparently, that tree was their source of power, and Lynn was taking the life essence out of the tree, effectivly kiling all the vines. The process continued on for a moment longer, then the beam of energy finnaly ended and went into Soulkeeper. Light came rushing back, Lynn dropped the staff and was sent hurled back against the cave wall and knocked out cold. Elza rnan over to her. On her she found her backpack with all her equipment in it, and Lynns hearthstone. She went and picked up SoulKeeper, and went back to Lynn. After putting on some decent enough clothes, she focused on the hearthstone all she could and allowed the magic to take them where it would.

'Darnasuss is such a pretty place.' thought Elza. Shortly after arriving the Darnassian priests took Lynn into their care and said she would be fine in a couple of days. After they healed up Elzas wounds they let her wander the streets of Darnasuss, but she could not yet leave the city limits. Elza had no desire too, however, and was quite content, albiet lonely. The days seemed to drag on forever. Three days pass, then four. Finnaly on the sixth day Lynn is released, and Elza runs to greet her outside the Temple of the Moon. She ran up the ramp and grabbed Lynn, hugging her tight and spinning her around several times before putting her back down and kissing her softly. "Did you miss me?" she asked. Lynn looked at her and smiled. "I thought of you the whole time I was in there." Elza smiled and cuddled against Lynn. Those vines may have felt good, but nothing was better than the feeling she had now.
