I don't think I'll be able to update for a while though, I have to leave for Florida on November 1st. @_@ I have an ice skating competition, yay. =D I may be able to update one more time before I leave, but I'm not sure. Hehe, thanks cas, I'm glad you liked the part with Leon. Don't worry, there's going to be another part with Leon and Riku. ^^ And thanks, SoulfulEyes. I'm glad you like my story so much, makes me feel better. ^^ And you'll have to see what happens with Riku and Sora. XD Thanks much also, lexi. I'm glad you think this is such a great plot idea. ^^ And thanks Legolas19, here is the next update. Kind of short, but I couldn't think of more. XD
From that moment on, Riku and Sora become tough competitors, if Riku ran one more mile than Sora, Sora would go out and do two more than Riku, and it was all the same with everything. else It's not like they weren't EVER nice to each other, there was about one minute in the day where they agreed not to fight and get along, but it always changed right after that.
Like one morning they were out for their jog, like they were usually competing to be faster even though they didn't say they would or because it was a jog, it really turned more into a sprint. They were right next to each other that morning and Riku was just slightly a head of Sora, Sora wouldn't let this happen though, so he got right up next to Riku and started to pass, then Riku went over and pushed Sora, gently, but enough to surprise him. They both actually laughed though, Riku especially thought it was funny, until Sora pushed him back, making him off balance and causing him to fall into a tree.
Sora quickly ran by him to check that he was all right, worried that he might be hurt. When he got next to Riku, Riku slowly started to rise from his lying down position next to an old oak tre. He had grass and some fallen leafs in his hair. Not only were leafs and grass in his hair, but it was awfully messed up. Not like it's usual sleek self, but parts of it were sticking up and in various other directions. Sora thought how sexy Riku looked at that moment, but shook his thoughts off and lended Riku a hand.
"Hey, hey, can I trust you not to push me again?" Riku said taking the offered hand and chuckeling.
Sora didn't find it so funny who withdrew his hand back causing Riku to fall back against the tree again, "Hey, you started it, dumbass!" Riku now stood up on his own and pinned Sora to the oak tree.
"Well, I didn't knock you down." Riku whispered slowly in Sora's ears. Sora started to squirm in between Riku's arms, he didn't very much care for the position they were in now. Riku started o slowly lean in towards Sora's head. Sora closed his eyes, shuddering to think what would happen next. But than Riku just ruffled Sora's spikey hair into a mess like his own and put leafs in it. "Now we're even." Riku grinned.
'Phew, that was close, if he had actually tried to kiss me, I don't know what would have happened.' Sora got lost in his thoughts, but then grinned at Riku, "Yeah, we're even."
'Geez, I can't believe I nearly kissed him...'

It was funny, they didn't only have to lift weights, jog, run miles, do situps, pushups, etc. and of course practice their skating, but Sora also insisted they did ballet. He said it would be better for their flexibilty and posture, especially since he said Riku needed to work on his posture so much. Riku still stood firm and refused, "Come on Sora, that's WAY to girly." He stared at Sora in shock, surprised he'd even suggest the thought. "But Riku, please, for me." and Sora gave his classic pout at Riku, 'Shit, why must he so damn sexy?'
"Fine."
"Thank you Riku!" and Sora jumped up excitedly and hugged Riku, 'Eh, what's up with him, where's my sarcastic enemy I know?'
Sora pulled back from the hug and blushed slightly, 'And why is he blushing?' Riku raised an eyebrow at Sora, but Sora didn't even care, he just pulled Riku by his arm and dragged him to their ballet class muttering things such as: "Come on Riku, you know you need this." "Stop being such a baby." and he thought he even heard "Asshole" in there, he was pretty sure his old Sora was back to normal.
They went into ballet class, first thing they did was teach them posture and then got them warmed up, and then they get to a hard part and Riku thought it utterly impossible, the bar stretch.
Riku gulped nervously, as he put his right leg on the bar that was about 4/5 feet tall. And the teacher had the dastardly deed to make him bend forward towards his leg, which he couldn't even touch. He was shocked when he saw Sora was touching his nose to his knee. 'Damn he's good.'
RIku couldn't believe later with all the ballet he started doing how much more balanced and flexible he felt, he hated to admitt it, but Sora WAS right THIS time. 'Hehe, he only knew it was good because he's so damn girly.' Riku thought to himself, hating to say that he was right because he was right.

Sora woke up one morning and glanced at the clock, 7:15 AM! "Geez! I have to beat Riku!" Sora got dressed as fast as he could and ran to the rink, only to find when he opened the door an already skating Riku on the ice. He got there just in time to even see Riku perform his singel axel. (Hardest single jump) 'Geez, I haven't even noticed how good he's gotten...well wait until he works on his doubles!' The next morning Riku woke upwhen his alarm went off, it was 6:30 AM. Riku knew he better hurry up and get over there, best time to practice is in the morning...the REALLY early morning. He opened the door into the rink and then smirked as he saw Sora go into a flying camel.(You jumo up in the air land on the other foot and spin with your leg at the same level as your hip) 'Geez, he's getting here early, I guess he couldn't have me get here first.'
Later that day Cloud wanted Riku to work on a new lift with Sora. Riku was utterly shocked at what Cloud wanted. "You want my hands WHERE?" Riku raised an eyebrow, hoping this weren't true. Cloud just pointed once to in between Sora's legs. Sora rolled his eyes at this, it's not like it was that bad for him, he was the one who had to have someone lift him up from there and spin him around.
Cloud finally convinced Riku to do it, they Sora up on the harness and had Riku spinning him around, quite slowly actually, but RIiku was new to this. "Hey, how am I doing?" Riku shouted to Cloud as he still spun Sora around. Sora didn't let Cloud answer though, and acted as if the question where towards him. "Perhaps in 5 years you'll get it up to half speed!" Sora shouted down towards Riku, Riku thought this was too good an opportunity to pass, so he let go of Sora, letting him hang there up on the harness and then took one hand and spun him around quickly. "Hey, come on!" a now furiated Sora yelled. Riku ignored him completely though and headed off away from the ice. "Riku, get back here, we're not finished yet." Cloud was annoyed, he knew he must cover up how funny he thought it was.
Riku started to slowly come back, but just for Cloud. Sora had to get another word in though, at that, "You have the intelligence of a rock you know that!"
"Whatever you say, sweetie." And Riku winked at Sora.
On another day they started to practice with skating with each other again. Time after time, again and again Sora had always yanked his hand away form Riku while skating with him, but now he had seemed to hasve stopped that habit. Even though he and Riku got along like a cat and a dog he didn't find he could do it anymore. He actually, felt bad that he had tripped Riku all those times. Until this time, Sora had gotten very annoyed with Riku because he started to skate so well, and just learning this in about a year is too little a time for Sora. Sora had been skating for 15 years and soon Riku will be better than him he thought! 'Argh! Maybe I should just do it once more...' So as they were skating again Sora started to yank his hand away as he used to, but Riku held on, he didn't even lose his grip on Sora's hand one bit. Sora looked away angerly from Riku, he couldn't believe what just happened. Riku smiled though, he thought it rather cute how Sora was acting.
They went to the time to stop when they parted hands, Riku stopped first with a single footed tango stop and then his free (The one you're not skating on) foot and crossed over the one who stopped and stuck his toepick in so excellently that he stopped on the spot, and it didn't move either. Sora came over though, just a second after Riku and he his foot slid out, he quickly dragged it back, hoping Riku hadn't seen it. Riku slowly started to skate away before he pulled in his hand in victory and went "Yes!" he skated now back towards and went again, "Yes, yes, yes, yes, YES!!!" quickly before he went down and started rolling on the ice, still continuing, "YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!" Cloud watched from outside before taking his hands up in happiness too.

Cloud was later massaging Riku's back, trying to release all of the tension he had.
"You know I don't get it, why Sora acts this way when he has everything. Skating, house, money." Riku questioned at Cloud wanting to talk to someone about it.
"You do not now what Sora has been through, he has rights." Cloud replied back.
"What? He has rights to act like a jerk just because his parents died? Well brother, so did mine."
"Is not that." Cloud replied back one again. 'Shit, I shouldn't have said that.'
"Huh? What did you say?" Riku now raised an eyebrow as he felt Cloud start to massage harder. "Is nothing." Riku only thought to himself. 'Whatever, I'll just talk to Leon about this.'
It was now Christmas day, Sora was staring outside his bedroom window after taking a shower and washing his spikey hair. He look out at the beautiful snow as he saw a horse and it's owner pass by. He couldn't believe how beautiful nature is. Sora started to comb his hair as he heard a knock on the door. "Just one minute, please." Sora went over and grabbed a towl, he started to put it on when Riku walked in anway, not hearing Sora. "Oh, Sora I'm--" But he got cut short. "What the hell do think your doing?" Sora finished putting on his towel. "Did I say come in? Get out! Get out this second!" Riku started to walk towards Sora, "Hey Sora don't--" Riku stopped, he couldn't believe how beautiful Sora looked.
Riku then just handed Sora a gift, it was wrapped in what looked like to be newspaper. Sora raised an eyebrow, "What's that?" Riku just smiled back. "Open it up. I wrapped it myself." Sora then couldn't help but smile slightly while he started to unwrap it. "I looked in all the stores, what to get the guy who has everything." Riku started to grin as he said this, he couldn't help but feel happy.
Sora smiled back, he actually was liking Riku's company...for once. Sora then fully unwrapped it strecthed what seemed to be a red, white and black shirt. "An old shirt?" Sora questioned.
Riku was shocked, he couldn't believe it. "An old shirt? That's Bobby Hall's game sweater. I've had that 10 years. Bobby Hall--forget it." Riku started to take back the shirt.
"No, no, I like it." Sora started to back the shirt and they started fighting over it. "Nah, I'll get you something else."
"No, I like it." Sora said again, not being able to say anything else. Riku started to worry, "You're gonna tear it!"
"Then let go!" Sora struggled but finally Riku let go and let him have it. Sora then smiled slightly and said, "Thank you." Riku just nodded his head and started to leave. "Merry Christmas." He said before he almost left the door.
"Well wait a minuite!" Riku turned around to see Sora pull out some sort of bag and walk towards him. "Merry Christmas." Sora started to grin as he handed Riku his present. Riku started to smile as he took the bag, he started to take the tissue out of it, still grinning then he found it. He pulled it out. It was just a book. It was a huge and looked old too. "Great Expectations?" Riku questioned towards Sora.
"Well, it was either that, or Curious George Plays Hockey. I took a chance." Sora grinned at Riku. Riku still looked rather disappointed. "Thanks." Riku then started to leave. "You're welcome." And Sora gave a slight smile as Riku left.
