Chapter 5
The Wedding
Part 2


Soldjer and Signas decided that they should plan for the wedding. Soldjer made out invitations to everyone in the headquarters. For a month, the two were staying in Signas’ room and continuing their lovemaking. They even went out on dates, movies and dinner. While they were doing that, they decided to make plans for the wedding.

Lindsay was bumming around the headquarters with nothing to do. Zero however continued to follow her and watching her as well. She never noticed that he was following her. Soldjermon came up to her to give her an invitation.

“Hmm? What’s that?”

“It’s an invitation. Here you go.” She said as she handed it to her.

She growled and looked at it while Soldjer walked off to the quarters to everyone’s room to slide the invitation under their doors. She and Signas decided to surprise everyone instead of telling them.

Lindsay sniffed at it. “Wonder what this could..” she gasped. She knew what it is now. “So that’s it huh?” she smiled. “First love and then comes marriage.” She shook her head. She never thought about weddings and love for that matter at all in her life.

“Hey babe.”

She turned around. “Z-Zero!?”

“What’s that in your hand?” he asked.

“None of your business.” She growled.

Zero laughed. “Still the same as usual. Hey. You want to go see a movie? There’s a movie out called ‘Gate’s Keeper’. It’s a rated ‘R’ movie for sexual stuff, blood, gore, all kinds.”

She wasn’t listening much but she heard what he was asking. “Fine. But you’re paying everything.”

“Yeah, I know. So 9pm then? The movie starts at 9:30pm.”

“Yeah whatever.” She walked off.

Zero smiled. I’m definitely going to make out with her!! He was so excited.

X watched a few doors down and saw the two. He was happy for his friends, especially Zero. He knew that Zero was upset for awhile since Iris’s death years ago, until he met Lindsay. The two are rivals and partners, created by Dr. Wily in the by-gone century. He hoped the two would become more than friends cause Zero has always been acting strange whenever he’s around her. Good luck, Zero.

Afternoon

Signas and Soldjer were at the dining hall. Everyone got the invitation and they were whispering on who’s getting married, of course Lindsay knew cause she has telepathic abilities and will not tell who’s getting married. She was in the back room minding her own business and being alone. Soldjermon never met her before so she decided to have a talk with her so she can get to know her better.

“Hi. I’m Soldjermon.” She extended her hand to Lindsay.

She looked at Soldjer and turned her head away. She rejected for a good reason. Soldjer was stunned.

“Look mortal. I don’t accept people as a friend so easily.”

“Oh I see. You remind me of Zero a little bit. You don’t trust people until they gain your respect.” She said.

“Yeah. Now, if you don’t mind I like to be alone.”

Soldjermon nodded and walked away to talk to someone else. X gave her advice to keep on Lindsay’s good side.

Oh and Soldjermon.

Soldjer gasped. You can read my mind and stuff?

Yes I can. I’m only speaking to you so no one can hear us. Now I suggest that you and Signas keep it down on the lovemaking. I had to cast a spell so no one would hear you two. Plus I had to hack the security cameras so they wouldn’t monitor you guys. Don’t worry. I won’t tell anyone that you are the two that will get married.

How can you do that? Asked Soldjer.

Lindsay laughed. I’m a demon sorcerer. Far older than any being alive. I won’t tell. I keep my word. After all, a dragon is the symbol of loyalty.

Soldjermon nodded. She didn’t know besides her generals that she created that Lindsay would be the one that will keep a secret, but something tells her that she can trust her. Thanks.

Lindsay nodded and the communication was off and both went back to business.

Soldjer talked to Douglas, Lifesaver, X and Alia. As usual their talking about how their business was going.

Zero sees Lindsay alone and decided to talk to her in privacy. He walked over to her as she was ordering a glass of wine.

“Hey.”

“Oh it’s you.”

“Aw come on. Aren’t you happy to see me?”

“A little bit.” She was getting used to him coming to her a lot.

“So, what have you been doing?”

“Nothing much. The usual.”

“Have you gotten any information on the Blood Tribe Hunters from Bass yet?” he asked.

“No. I haven’t seen Bass since 3 years. But I know Sigma is out there. He’s not dead.”

“Yeah.” He nodded.


As Soldjer and the others were talking, X saw Zero talking to Lindsay. He smiled. It seems he’s getting to her.

Axl noticed as well but none of his friends did. Signas noticed as well.

7pm

Soldjermon and Signas went back to his room and watched a movie. They sat down and ate popcorn and dinner as they watched.

“Do you think Lindsay and Zero would get along?” she asked. She has noticed Zero been going after her for the past month.

“Yeah. Zero likes her and wants her to be his girlfriend. We’re hoping that they’ll get married like us.” He smiled at her. He wrapped his arm around her bringing her to him.

“Yeah.” She smiled. They kissed and went back to watch the movie.

Lindsay walked around the headquarters. She passed Signas’ room. I better put another spell for the night just incase they make more love. She put her hand on his door and began to chant in an unknown language.

“La gocha! Hmaka unkdia!”

A power engulfed the door to his room and made it invisible to everyone’s ears.

Heh. Now no one will hear. She growled. Especially me. The thought of it makes me sick. She then walked off to her quarters to get ready. Zero’s going to take her to the movie even though she doesn’t like it.

9pm

Zero came to pick her up at her quarters where she was waiting for her. He knocked on the door. He got roses for her to show her how much he’s in love with her. I hope she likes them.

Lindsay went to the door and opened it.

“Hi. I’m here to pick you up.” He smiled.

“Yeah.” She still wasn’t interested.

Zero scratched behind his neck because he was getting nervous. “Well, umm.. I got you these.” He gave her the roses.

She sees the roses that he was giving her. It’s a sign to her that he loves her. She blushed and took the roses and set them down on the table. She thought for a moment. Ummm... maybe he’s not that bad after all. This might not be so bad either. She looked to him. She’s now starting to trust him.

“Are we going? We better hurry cause the movie will start soon and I like for us to get a good seat.” He said.

She laughed. “You forget that I can teleport us there.”

He was puzzled.

“Now where’s the movie at?”

“At 58th district.”

“Good enough.” She concentrated on the place where it’s at. “Found it.” She then teleported her and him out.

Zero and Lindsay were at the theater and he got tickets for the both of them. He even got popcorn and soda for both of them as well.

They got a seat in the back. The movie was starting and the commercials were playing. Zero sat next to her but she didn’t like the feeling, but she’ll get used to it.

20mins past

Lindsay was getting tired. She liked the movie a little bit. Zero however was zoning out daydreaming. He looked to her and sees she’s watching the movie. Now is my chance. He moved his hand to her thighs. He wanted her to get aroused a little.

She shifted a little feeling his hand touching her thigh. She thought it was a fly or something but ignored it. She’s liking it, she closed her eyes.

Good. She’s starting to like it. He continued on. He touched one of her scars that was on her stomach by accident when she hissed in pain. He pulled back.

She growled and got up.

“Huh?” Zero was now worried. Aww man. I hope I didn’t ruin it. He ran after her.

She continued to walk out and went outside.

“Hey babe. Did I do something wrong?”

“No. No. You didn’t.” She panted. “I.. I would like to go home now to rest.”

“Okay.” He said. They walked back to the headquarters.

As they got back, Zero lead her back to her room. “You.. wanna go out again sometime?”

“Yeah. Tonight was good.”

He nodded. “Well, I guess I’ll see you tomorrow then.”

She nodded and went back into her room. Zero sighed happily. Today was the best time of his life.

Weeks pass and the wedding was held. Everyone was there. Zero, Lindsay, X, Lifesaver, Axl, Axl’s friends, Alia, Dynamo, Douglas, almost everyone that you imagined. They were all dressed very nicely. Since Lindsay knew about it, Soldjer decided that the surprise will come to everyone. X and Zero didn’t know at all but they kept thinking.

“I wonder who it is.” Said X.

“Yeah. I want to know who the lucky groom and bride is.” He sighed. “Ahh... I wish I had one with Lindsay.”

“You’re still in love with her are you?”

“Yeah. I can’t stop thinking about her.”

“Speaking of that, how did the date go?” asked X.

“It went wonderful. She loved the date and the roses.”

“I’m glad for the both of you.”

The music began to play for the bride and groom to come in. Lindsay came back to the group.

“Lindsay. Good to see you here.” Said X.

She was dressed in her usual clothing. She never liked wearing casual clothing for special occasions. “So you’re here to?” she noticed Zero.

“Yeah. How have you been?”

“Not much.” She shrugged.

“I’ll leave you two alone. I’m going to talk to Dynamo and Alia.” X walked off to the group.

They both nodded and sat down in the back away from the others.

“So.. who’s the ones getting married?” he asked.

She smiled. “Oh.. someone you know.”

Zero gave her a questionable look.

Little kids came down the isle with flowers in their hands. Soldjermon came down the isle and everyone gasped except Lindsay.

“Soldjermon?!” said Zero.

Lindsay laughed.

“You knew!?”

“Yeah.” She said.

“For how long?”

“For quite sometime. Wait till you see who the groom will be.”

Zero nodded.

Soldjermon was wearing a lovely white wedding dress.

X was speechless and so was Alia. Everyone wants to know now who the groom will be.

“Hey. Where’s Signas?” asked Alia.

The music continued to play. Soldjermon was blushing a lot with all the people here noticing. Signas meanwhile was more blushing than her. Man, I’m so nervous. The music continued to play waiting for him to come out. He took a deep breath and began to walk out to the isle.

Lindsay smirked. As everyone was now shocked to see.. Signas.

“No way!! Signas and Soldjermon!?” said Zero.

“Yep.”

Zero’s jaw dropped.

X and Alia were shocked as well, so was everyone else. The music stopped as the priest began to talk.

“Lindsay. You knew everything that was going on?” Zero said.

“Yep. From the very beginning.”

Zero got a naughty thing to say. “I bet you listened to their love making.”

“That’s none of your business and besides I bet you listened as well.” She glared.

Zero tried to say something but couldn’t think of any.

“Pervert.”

The priest was near at the ending and everyone was watching and were touched. Axl was still a kid but understood a little bit. Signas and Soldjermon were blushing a lot.

“Man this is getting very good.” Said X.

“Yeah. I never thought Signas was after Soldjer.”

Zero meanwhile was touching Lindsay’s thigh. She noticed this and slapped his hand. “Ow.” He pulled his hand away, rubbing it.

“Pervert.”

“Hey I’m just trying to be romantic with you. You know this is going to be what it’s going be like for the two of us.”

“Oh really?”

“Huh?”

“Zero, there are consequences for my kind of standards since I’m a were-dragon. An animal no doubt. We animals don’t wed like you mortals.”

“Then what do you do then?” he wanted to know.

“We were-dragons mate for life. That means no cheating or marrying anyone else in our life time. When we mate, we leave a mark on our mate, a sign that we’re stuck to each other for life. That means we can feel and sense each other’s thoughts unlike you mortals. You’ll understand someday.” She said.

Zero was stunned. “Wow. I.. I never knew.” He smiled.

She growled. “Hmph.”

Then the priest said, “Now you may kiss the bride.”

Signas and Soldjermon kissed passionately and everyone in the room except for Lindsay whistled and rooted for them.

The party ended as everyone was outside of the church and began to keep cheering for the two. X and Alia congratulated them as so was everyone else, except for Lindsay of course. Graffiti and balloons were tossed in the air. Soldjermon and Signas were heading to the limo, when Soldjer threw the bouquet. Everyone tried to catch it, except for Lindsay who’s in the back. Zero was with her.

“Hey try to lighten up.”

“I hate weddings.” She growled.

“Why?”

“It’s a waste of time that’s why.”

Axl didn’t know what to do. He just stood there. The bouquet landed on Lindsay’s head when she was talking to Zero.

“Eh?” said Zero.

Lindsay was not amused. “I really hate weddings.”

“Looks like you got the bouquet.”

She growled.

Everyone waved goodbye at Signas and Soldjer who got in the car and drove off to their honeymoon.

“Where do you think they’re going?” asked X.

“Dunno but I know we’re not going to see them for quite sometime.” Said Douglas.

X and the others nodded while Zero continued to flirt with Lindsay.


In the Limo

“Where do think we should go?” asked Soldjer.

“I know an island that will be a great place for our vacation with no interruptions.” Said Signas.

She nodded and kissed Signas as they headed to the hotel to get ready to leave for tomorrow.
