Broken Toy, Fearsome King

A/N: Well another chapter up and Ganondorf is reuinted with Link!

Toki Mirage: Glad you like the story! I don't know what you'd want me to e-mail you about, but always check back on my story at least once a week, I may have updated and I may not have. It all depends on how Link please me or pisses me off in games.

Pizzasnack: I know it's not the most happy of gifts, but I updated on Christmas Eve so I count it as a gift. I don't support child-rape either, but I seem to classify Link being raped as it's own category of Link-rape, and Link-rape is good. Ganondorf is really turning out in this story, I like making him seem so much more human than he is normally depicted.

Well hope everyone enjoys this new chapter!

Chapter 4: Broken Toy, Fearsome King

He was broken, nothing more than a toy that had been broken from being played far too many times. Beatings and rape were daily; old wounds scarring over even when fresh wounds were added on top. Link felt like dying every moment of his life at the moment; if this was his future, he didn’t want to live it. After multiple attempts of suicide, precautions were taken to have the boy chained to his bed and fed just enough to keep him alive. The Goddesses had forsaken him and he believed that he was doomed to this tortured existence until death could hold him in it’s sweet embrace.

Unable to find the small boy he had been caring for, Ganondorf had become reclusive from his people; his temper was even more volatile, sending Hyrule into more disarray when he travelled in search of the blond child. Nothing he could do seemed to bring Link back and he certainly tried everything he could possibly think of; prayers went unanswered, angering him even more at the silence the gods gave him.

Ganondorf had slid from his saddle, tethering Faedrunil before entering the shady establishment. He was stressed and the best way to deal with stress was to release it in physical ways. Certainly a king such as himself could not be seen bedding just anyone. Gerudo women were fine for him to conceive children with, yet there were none that he truly desired in that way. Children were not needed at this moment, even with the hope that Link would return to him was deep in the back of his mind.

The sight of the Gerudo king entering his meagre place of business surprised the snake-like man. He quickly sidled up to the large man, imagining how much he would be paid for one of his women or men. “Is there something I can help you with my lord? I have quite a harem of women who would be more than willing to please you.”
A hand was held up to silence the man as Ganondorf shook his head. “A harem of women holds no interest for me, if there are men free, I would gladly pay for their services.”
“Well I only have one free, a bit younger than most, but he certainly is a fiery spirit and a rather attractive Hylian.”
“I shall take him for the night then...”

When the door opened, the sight that met Ganondorf’s eyes nearly made him vomit. He saw the trembling and emaciated form of the young Kokiri he had been searching for. Link’s hair was matted with grease and blood, lying upon bloody and torn sheets. His ankles and wrists were shackled to the bed to keep him from escaping; old scars and deep red welts covered his petite body. The Gerudo king quickly ran to the bed, desperately hoping that Link could respond to him.
“Link! Link!” He gently shook the boy, hoping for something; faded blue eyes looked up at him, obvious that the boy’s spirit had been broken. Cracked and bloody lips part, but only a tired squeak had escaped, his voice unable to hold up after all the times he had screamed himself hoarse. With a growl, Ganondorf softened the chains with his magic enough to be broken apart in his hands. He cradled the boy in his arms, whispering to him in order to calm himself more than the child.

The brothel owner heard the door open, rather annoyed if the boy had angered such an important figure such as Ganondorf. He grabbed his flogger, but was knocked back by the door. Ganondorf was still holding tightly onto the boy, refusing to let him go.
“Hey! You can’t take him from here! He’s my property! I paid five hundred rupees for that boy!”
A bright flash of light pulsed from the Gerudo king’s hand before hitting the other man square in the chest. Ganondorf set Link down, figuring that the boy didn’t have enough strength to try and escape on his own. He towered over the other, ripping the flogger from his grip before wrapping it around the man’s throat, tightening it with every few words.
“This boy does not belong to you...he is to be the crown prince of the Gerudo; cross me and I will see to it that the punishment you receive will make the torture that this went through seem like paradise...”

Dropping the man to the floor, Ganondorf picked up Link once more, heading out to his mount. Faedrunil barely noticed the extra weight as his rider spurred him onward to their homeland within the desert. The entire time they rode, Ganondorf held tightly onto the petite form of the injured boy. “Goddesses...you brought him back to me, but please let me keep him...let him live and remain at my side...”

He was rather gently deposited upon a lavish bedspread, inhabiting a far more decorated room than his own. The tall Gerudo male had sat down close to the blond, looking upon his broken body. "Link...it's dangerous out in the rest of the lands and it is certainly not a place for you. Ever since the night I found you in such a horrid state, Hyrule has been in disarray. Princess Zelda had been captured that night by an unknown assailant; the castle was burned down once the monsters stormed the area. You were one of the fortunate ones to survive that night. I've spent months in search of the princess, but no one can find hide nor hair of the girl."

Ganondorf sighed, running a hand through his growing hair after not being cut in months. "Obviously you meant something to the princess, if you hadn't you would not have been in the courtyard with her that day I had seen you through the window. I wish to keep you safe from the dangers of Hyrule while I do all that I can to restore these lands to their former glory." He didn’t want to, but a few tears slid from Ganondorf’s eyes, pattering onto the cheeks of the slumbering child. “Stay here, Link...I need you here and I don’t know why. I see you as a son and I wish to keep you safe...do not leave me again Link and I shall do everything in my power to give you anything you could ever wish for...”

A/N: I know, Ganondorf didn't do as much killing as he should have, but he will since he was more worried about Link surviving than killing the guy at that moment. Link's mental recovery will take a few chapters and Ganondorf is going to become more fatherly during this time. I really can't wait until I have Link at 17, and by that time a well known male Sheikah might make an appearance.

Well you all know the drill, Read and Review and I'll get my butt into gear on writing the next chapter!
