Just Friends?

“What have I done?” # 13 asked himself as he stepped slowly out of his hiding place.
“Why did I have to say that?” he thought, “Of course I would miss him. More than anything.”
Thinking about Axel’s actions, Sora’s nobody wandered the empty streets, hoping to be spotted by the redhead.
There was a rustling behind him, and Roxas swiftly turned, saying,
“Axel?”
“Nope,” came a cool voice from the shadows.
A cloaked figure emerged into the light, removing his hood.
“Demyx?” # 13 groaned, disappointed.
“The one and only,” # 9 said smugly, oblivious to Roxas’s discontentment.
“What do you want?” was the glum reply.
“Nothing,” Demyx replied nonchalantly, “I was just taking a walk when I ran into Axel.”
“Axel?” # 13 said, now suddenly interested.
“Yeah, and he wasn’t very cheerful.”
He paused for added drama, then continued,
“Asked me if I had seen you.”
“And?”
“And I said no.”
Crestfallen, Roxas broke his gaze with Demyx and stared at the ground.
“Roxas?” # 9 said serenely, trying to reconnect eye contact.
“What?” # 13 asked, hurriedly looking up at his fellow nobody.
“Do you care about him?”
Roxas’s silence revealed the answer and Demyx smiled slyly, revealing his satisfaction.
“So you do,” # 9 thought out loud.
“Demyx,” Sora’s nobody said slowly, thinking carefully about each word, “Did Axel say anything….about me?”
# 9 thought for a moment, then replied,
“Maybe.”
“Well?” Roxas insisted, “What did he say?”
“He didn’t want me to tell,” Demyx responded lazily, crossing his arms in front of his chest.
“Please, Demyx,” # 13 pleaded.
“If I tell you, what are you going to do for me?” # 9 asked with a small smile, his eyes wandering over Roxas’s slim body.
“I don’t know,” Sora’s nobody answered, exasperated, “What do you want?”
Demyx grinned openly at the question, his eyes darkening with lust.
“Since I get to pick,” he started, “I think I want…..a strip show.”
Roxas stared in disbelief at the Melodious Nocturne, wondering why he would request such a thing.
“I’m serious,” # 9 said, seeing Roxas’s expression.
“I-I can’t do that,” # 13 stuttered.
“You can always join me in my bed tonight,” Demyx offered, curiosity creeping into him alongside his unbridled lust as he waited to see what Roxas had to say.
“No!” Sora’s nobody answered immediately, disgusted.
“Are you sure?” # 9 asked, “You don’t want to know what Axel told me?”
“Yeah, but I don’t want to know so badly that I have to sacrifice myself,” Roxas explained.
“Why?” Demyx teased, “Saving yourself for Axel?”
The Key of Destiny narrowed his eyes in response, saying nothing.
“It’s true, isn’t it?” # 9 taunted, “Judging by your silence.”
“And if I am?” Roxas asked seriously.
“Then I’ll settle for a strip show,” Demyx replied, amused.
“No,” # 13 responded firmly.
“Then a kiss,” the older nobody offered, smiling.
“Fine,” Sora’s nobody said, deciding that a kiss wouldn’t be so bad.
Grabbing Roxas by the waist, Demyx pulled him closer and engulfed the young nobody in a ferocious kiss.
Being caught off guard, # 13 gasped, allowing # 9 to push his tongue past Roxas’s lips.
Touching # 13’s tongue with his own, Demyx felt his fellow nobody timidly push back.
After he broke the kiss, # 9 said,
“He cares about you. More than you know.”
Roxas smiled as Demyx turned and disappeared into the alley.

Fifteen minutes later at Castle Oblivion….
“Well?” Axel asked expectantly as the Melodious Nocturne appeared in the doorway.
“He’s still there, in the city,” # 9 answered as he took a seat next to the redhead, who sharply stood up, saying,
“Thanks.”
“No problem,” Demyx replied, a smirk still dancing across his lips as he watched Axel leave the room in a flurry of dancing flames.
