“Come on Roxas! Let’s go! The bell rang like 3 minutes ago, I wanna go home!”

Roxas sighed as he slammed his locker shut. “Shut up Hayner! What else are you going to do with those three minutes? Lose at Struggle again?” Roxas replied with a smirk.

The last bell had just rung and school was out for the week. The week had just seemed to pass so slowly for Roxas up until Friday afternoon. He knew he had to go to Axel’s Halloween party that night and the afternoon seemed to have just disappeared. To say he was nervous about going tonight was like saying Roxas just liked his sea salt popsicles; a huge understatement.

He had only spoken with Axel throughout the week over the phone since they both had busy schedules… Well Axel seemed to have a busy schedule, what with organizing this party, so they didn’t get to see each other at all.

They had agreed… Well actually a certain red head had told him, that Roxas was going to help set up for the party, so Axel was going to pick him up Friday after school. That had also made the afternoon seem to pass by just that much faster. This would be the first time he had seen Axel since the incident he had now dubbed the ‘never ever talk to Axel past 9 again’ incident. He just kept wondering how he should act, or what he should say to Axel so the red head didn’t find out what he had done. Of course the simple answer was to act normally, but Roxas didn’t even know what his ‘normal’ was.

He was shaken out of his thoughts as Hayner pushed him forward, past the other two people standing with them and towards the school doors. Hayner was his best friend along with Pence and Olette; they’d known each other since the beginning of high school.

“So Pence, Olette and me were thinking of going to my place and playing some struggle on my new kickass 50 inch TV,” Hayner stated, the other two nodding their heads in agreement. “Are you in?”

“You know I can’t,” Roxas replied, pushing open the doors to the school, squinting in the bright sunlight. “I have go help set up for that party Sora’s dragging me to.”

That was another thing he was spending a lot of time worrying about. Explaining why he was hanging out with his brother’s tattoo artist and why said red head was picking him up from school. He couldn’t just simply say he’d made a new friend and they were ‘hanging out’ cause, let’s face it, that just wasn’t something Roxas did. In the four years Roxas had known Hayner, Pence and Olette he’d never made one new friend. Not one. So he had made up the elaborate, yet still somewhat believable, story that Sora had been invited to this party and didn’t want to go alone. So he had kindly asked Roxas to go, and being a good brother, Roxas agreed. Also, since Sora is such a kind hearted person he had volunteered them to help set up. The unbelievable part was that Roxas was going to be getting picked up from school by some random stranger to go to the party.

“I can’t believe you let him drag you into that!” Hayner whined.

“Just be careful when that guy picks you up, you never know what kind of freaks are out there,” Pence added.

“Don’t worry guys, I met the guy once, he seemed relatively normal,” Roxas replied, trying to play it off as nothing. If he had just been talking with Hayner and Pence, Roxas knew he could have had them believing what ever he wanted. But it was Olette that was making things difficult. She was too observant and too smart. Roxas knew for sure that Olette suspected something, she was being too quiet.

Oh well, he would have to worry about that later.

Looking around the school yard, he noticed a group of kids hanging around the parking lot. Well, maybe not a group, more like a mob. They seemed to be looking at something, or someone, and it must have been exciting cause everyone was talking loudly and pulling more people into the group.

Hayner, Pence and Olette started heading in that direction and even Roxas was curious to know what everyone was looking at. As they neared they saw in the middle of the crowd a man dressed in dark jeans, a shirt and a black leather jacket with a biker helmet on his head. Behind him sat a sleek black motorcycle with flames painted on it.

And then it hit him. It was Axel. He’s recognize that bike anywhere. Taking a closer look as they approached he noticed the bright red hair sticking out the back of the helmet. Damn. Roxas had been hoping no one would notice him getting picked up by Axel; that it wouldn’t be a big deal… but of course not.

No, there had to be a giant mob of people; with girls fawning over Axel and guys fawning over his bike. To top it all off Hayner, Pence and Olette had to be there as well. Great. All he hoped was that Axel wouldn’t do anything stupid.

“Roxas!” Roxas’s eyes snapped over to the owner of the motorcycle and watched as Axel pulled off his helmet. Somehow his hair didn’t seem to be matted down from the helmet as he shook it out before letting his eyes rest on the small blond.

Roxas felt his breath catch as he stared into brilliant green eyes. Immediately images from that night popped into his head. He watched a smirk form on Axel’s lips as he set the helmet down on the seat.

“Ready to go?”

Now everyone’s eyes were on him. He could hear them whispering amongst themselves. They were wondering how he could possibly know someone as cool as the guy with the bike. And that maybe Roxas was some sort of charity case and this guy was just being a big brother. Or maybe Roxas was whoring himself out to Axel for free.

Roxas frowned as he was once again faced with the fact that everyone in his school hated him. Stupid hormonal teenagers.

Glancing over to his side, Roxas didn’t even say anything to his friends as he strode over to Axel. Axel had a weird look on his face as he watched Roxas approach and silently handed him the helmet. Taking it, Roxas slipped it over his face as quickly as possible and got on the back of the bike.

Taking a second, Axel looked between Roxas and the crowd of kids but then snapped back to life. Flashing a grin and waving his hand Axel climbed onto the bike and took off out of the parking lot.

As soon as they were out of sight of the school, Roxas let out the breath he had been holding. He supposed the only thing he could be grateful for was that Axel hadn’t done anything stupid. It was just everyone at his school that was stupid. And he was pretty sure he saw that jerk Seifer in the crowd. He was probably the one who brought up the whoring himself out. God that guy was a dick.

Roxas would have been content brooding all the way to the tattoo shop but he was kicked out of his thoughts as he felt Axel pull into an alley and come to a stop.

Turning the key in the ignition off, Axel looked back at Roxas with a huge smile on his lips. Getting up off the bike Axel turned to face Roxas and easily slipped the helmet off the short blond’s head. Roxas gazed up at him, his look clearly wondering what they were doing.

“Just wanted to say hi,” Axel provided as an explanation before he leaned down and pressed his lips to Roxas’.

Roxas’ eyes immediately dropped closed as he felt Axel’s lips move gently against his own. He didn’t even flinch as he felt Axel’s fingers brush across his cheek as a cool hand cupped his face. Letting out a pleased hum, Roxas shifted forward slightly, trying to get in closer.

He felt, more than heard, Axel laugh into the kiss and brush his tongue over the seam of Roxas’ lip. Leaning upwards Roxas gladly parted his lips and sucked on the tongue that was immediately pushed in.

Just as he was really getting into it, Roxas felt Axel pull away and couldn’t help a small pout. Opening his eyes slowly, he looked up at Axel who had a smirk on his face.

“Glad to see me, are you?” Axel stated confidently.

Roxas let out a scoff, crossing his arms defiantly across his chest. “You wish,” He replied, shifting his weight back on the seat. “So why are we in a sketchy alley?” Roxas continued.

“Well I figured you wouldn’t have appreciated it if I had made out with you in front of your whole school…” Axel trailed off getting a devious glint in his eyes as he leaned in closer to Roxas. “But I mean if you want me to from now on, I guess I can do that too. Put on a nice show for your friends.”

“Pervert, no way!” Roxas replied, scrunching his nose slightly. Not only was he not comfortable admitting to the world that he liked, and was seeing, Axel; he didn’t want to give his classmates anything to help fuel their rumours. “Geez, is that all you think about Axel?”

His only response was silence and an ‘are you serious?’ look from Axel.

“Right, my bad, it is,” Roxas laughed. “So are we going to go set up or just sit here all day?”

“Wow Roxas, if I didn’t know any better I’d think you were looking forward to this party or something,” Axel teased as he slipped the helmet back over Roxas’ head. Throwing his leg over the seat Axel brought the engine roaring to life and pulled back out of the alley.

Feeling a lot more content, Roxas slipped his arms around Axel’s waist holding on tightly. He just wanted to forget about the stupid kids at school and just focus the tingling feeling in the pit of his stomach.

It only took a couple more minutes for them to reach the tattoo shop. Axel pulled the bike in behind the shop and cut the engine. Getting off the bike, he only waited a moment before heading to the back door of the shop. Roxas got up after the red head and followed him, removing the helmet as he went.

“I’m not sure how much the guys got done, but I imagine it’s not a lot,” Axel explained as they walked through the back hall, past all the artist’s rooms. “So we’ll probably have a lot of work to do.” Stopping off in his work room Axel threw his leather jacket down on his chair. “You can drop off the helmet in here.” Doing as Axel said Roxas continued to follow the redhead out into the main lobby.

Roxas’ jaw nearly hit the floor as he saw the mountainous pile of decorations in the middle of the floor and absolutely nothing on the walls. That was a lot of shit that had to go on the walls. Looking around a little more he saw people sitting around everywhere with plastic red cups in their hands talking amongst themselves.

“Roxas, these are the guys,” Axel introduced, sweeping his hand out. “Guys, this is Roxas, he’s going to help us get ready for the party.”

And that’s how it started, the long, arduous process of putting up those stupid Halloween decorations. Who ever thought hanging rubber bats from the ceiling was a good idea, should be shot. Along with the person who invented that stupid fake spider web crap that gets stuck to EVERYTHING but the wall.

In case you couldn’t tell, Roxas was getting a little fed up with decorating. He was also getting a little frustrated with a certain redhead who had yet to do a single thing.

For the last 4 hours Roxas had diligently been putting up decorations. He’d draped all the walls in black fabric, attached a 50 foot spider to the ceiling, hung countless bats and skeletons and was now hanging spider webs. And he’d been doing this all by himself! All Axel had done was sit on his ass and drink. Most of the other people from The Organization were at least being productive, like setting up the music equipment and lights, hooking up the fog machine, getting the drinks for the night, doing promotional stuff. Hell even Demyx was helping! And Roxas was sure that didn’t happen often.

Speaking of the other blonde, as Roxas was trying for the twenty-third time to get the spider webs to stay on the ceiling, Demyx walked into the lobby from the back, carrying a small table.

He stopped mid stride and looked from Roxas to Axel who was seated behind him. “Axel, what are you doing?” Demyx asked slowly.

“Supervising,” was the redhead’s simple reply as he took another sip of his drink.

“Supervising what? His ass?” Demyx scoffed. At that Roxas turned around, looking sternly at Axel.

“What? It's a nice ass! SOMEONE should be watching it,” Axel explained, holding his hands up in defence.

Roxas couldn’t even answer that, it was so stupid. Letting out a long sigh, Roxas just gave up on hanging his last bit of spider webs and got down off his step stool. “Well show’s over ‘cause I’m done.”

Roxas had to restrain himself from punching Axel in the face as he looked over and saw the red head actually looked disappointed. Disappointed! Pervert.

“Oh well, I was actually getting hungry anyways,” Axel stated, downing the remnants of his drink. Standing up smoothly, he placed his empty cup on top of the table Demyx was holding, “I’ve got some snacks in the back, come on Roxas.”

Roxas would have disagreed just to spite Axel but his stomach actually hurt because he was so hungry. Letting out a scoff to satisfy his displeasure Roxas followed Axel as he headed further into the back of the tattoo parlour.

They stopped off in a little room he’d never been in before. Roxas guessed it was like a break room since there was a small fridge, a microwave and a table with no chairs. At least it looked clean.

“Do you like pizza pockets?” Axel asked, opening the fridge. Lifting the flap for the freezer he pulled out a red box.

Roxas made a face, “Not really…”

“Neither do I, but they are Demyx’s so they’re free,” Axel laughed as he plopped four on a plate and stuck them in the microwave. The microwave whirled to life as Axel pushed some buttons, making a slight rattling noise.

Once he was sure their food was being cooked, Axel turned to face Roxas. It only took a couple steps for Axel to have Roxas pinned against the wall beside the door, both arms blocking him in.

Roxas’ heart rate started to pick up as he saw Axel lean in, the red head’s eye lids dropping low. He almost felt frozen, unsure what to do, as the red head moved in closer.

Axel stopped, his lips just a fraction of an inch away from the blonde’s, and let his gaze travel up to look Roxas in the eye. “Thanks for the help setting up. I really appreciate it,”

Roxas just blushed and smiled almost shyly. This was stupid, why couldn’t he just act normal around Axel? He was either a shy little school girl, extremely turned on, or a sarcastic loser. If his mind could at least pick one at least then there would be some consistency.

Smiling triumphantly, Axel closed the gap between them, immediately plunging his tongue past into the blond’s mouth. He crushed their lips together with nearly bruising force and let his teeth scrape against the blonde’s soft lips.

Closing his own eyes, Roxas brought his arms up and wrapped them tightly around Axel’s neck. Hid mind was dizzy with how rough the kiss was; it was so completely different from their kiss hours earlier. Yet, he loved it just as much, if not more.

Axel wrapped his arms around Roxas’ small waist, using them to pull the small blonde in flush against him. He felt Roxas shudder as his teeth nipped at his lower lip.

Roxas was about to let out a moan when he felt… something. Now, I can assure you it’s not what you’re thinking.

Pulling himself away from the kiss, Roxas blinked at Axel a couple times as he tried to process what he was feeling. “What are you doing?”

“Uhh, kissing you?” Axel replied, rolling his eyes, “isn’t it kind of obvious?”

With a sigh, Roxas looked at Axel sternly, “… with your hands?”

At that Axel stopped, thinking. Leaning over slightly, Axel peered over Roxas’ shoulder and looked down. He couldn’t help a Cheshire grin as he saw his hands disappear under the waistband of Roxas’ pants, cupping Roxas’ sensuously soft ass.

“My hands are cold?” Axel stated sheepishly, though he didn’t make any more to remove them.

“Well then warm them up yourself! Don’t use my ass,” Roxas huffed, side stepping so Axel’s hands were no longer in his pants.

Axel pouted as his hands fell to his sides and was about to open his mouth to complain when he heard the microwave beep, letting them know their food was ready. Turning around, Axel quickly busied himself with getting their food.

As soon as Axel was no longer facing him, Roxas took in a couple deep breaths. Once again his heart was hammering in his chest and he felt that tingling sensation in the pit of his stomach. He was surprised that he was actually feeling aroused rather than upset that Axel had had his hands down his pants. Though, as always, he was trying his best to cover it up, and as he was trying to calm himself down he realized that he was actually half hard under his baggy pants. Stupid Axel. The red head definitely knew how to make his body react in ways he didn’t approve of.

“Let’s eat in my station,” Axel said happily, handing Roxas a plate with two pizza pockets on it. He then turned and left the small room.

Roxas followed the red head to his room, looking at the food sceptically. Was a pizza pocket even real food? Or was it all just processed sugar? Ew.

“Just eat them, Roxas,” Axel stated between chews. “They won’t kill you,” he added, popping the rest of one into his mouth. Setting the plate down, Axel brushed his hands off on his pants. Quickly looking around, Axel began rummaging through a pile of stuff.

Roxas looked at the round puffs on the plate and made a face. “Says you…” he mumbled before picking one up gingerly. Bringing it to his mouth Roxas took a careful bite. Chewing slowly, Roxas put the pizza pocket down. It definitely didn’t taste like normal food…

“Well, if you’re not going to eat, put this on,” Axel stated handing Roxas a bag, “It’s your costume for tonight.”

Setting his plate down, Roxas took the bag. “It looks kinda small…” Roxas pointed out, looking at the small bag.

“You have three minutes to change then I’m coming back in,” was Axel’s reply; completely ignoring Roxas’ statement. With a grin, Axel walked to the door, another much larger bag in his hand. “And you don’t want to know what I’ll do if I find you half naked in here,” Axel warned cheerily, and then he was gone, door closed behind him.

Roxas just stared at the door. He needed to work on Axel’s listening skills… badly.

Taking another look at the bag in his hand he pulled out a small little piece of black pleather material. “What the hell is this?” he yelled out loud, hoping Axel heard him.

There was no way that tiny piece of material was any other than a handkerchief. Setting the material down Roxas pulled out the next piece of fabric. This one was a little bigger than the last, and had a zipper, but still there was no way it was part of the costume. It wouldn’t cover anything. Setting that down as well Roxas pulled out the last thing in the bag, a pleather hat.

Looking from the hat, to the empty bag and back to the hat, Roxas’ eyes narrowed. There wasn’t even enough fabric, including the hat, to cover him decently. What the hell did Axel think he was? A whore? Marching over to the door Roxas threw it open to find Axel leaning against the opposite wall a Cheshire cat grin on his face.

“I’m not wearing what ever the hell this is,” Roxas stated pointedly, holding up the hat.

“Aw come on Roxy, you haven’t even put it on!” Axel countered. “I know you’ll look good in it,” he stated pushing himself off the wall with a hand.

“I don’t care if I’ll ‘look good’, I’m not a hooker!” Roxas really had to try hard to keep himself from yelling. He couldn’t believe how shallow Axel was acting.

“Roxas, calm down,” Axel said in a soft voice. Stepping closer, he wrapped his arms around Roxas’ waist. There was a little bit of a struggle on the blonde’s part but he soon stopped as Axel kissed the top of his head. “I wouldn’t be interested in you if you were, Roxas. And I’m sorry, I probably should have let you know this was more of a ‘sexy’ Halloween party… but if I had told you that the other night I knew you never would have agreed,” Axel explained calmly.

Well, Axel did have a point. If Roxas had known, he would have flat out refused.

“And don’t worry, I have a trench coat you can wear over it if you want, or you can even keep your pants on if you’re not comfortable,” Axel added. Roxas wasn’t sure, but he could have sworn his tone was slightly mocking.

Roxas looked up at the red head. Great, now Axel though he was a pansy. Sighing, Roxas pulled himself back out of Axel’s arms. “I’ll go try it on, but I doubt I’ll stay in it…” Roxas muttered as he stepped back into the room, closing the door.

Stupid Axel. Stupid him and his stupid costume. Everything was just stupid.

Sighing, Roxas picked up one of the pieces of fabric. He looked at it and noticed the zipper and what looked like arm holes. So this was the shirt… right? Quickly removing his own sweater and shirt, Roxas undid the zipper. Awkwardly he stuck his arms through the holes and managed to do the zipper back up.

Turning to face the mirror that was leaning against one of the walls, Roxas’ eyes went wide. The ‘shirt’ was really more like a crop sweater. It was made out of the black pleather material, had short sleeves and only went three inches below his nipples. Sure it fit him perfectly, but it was short!

Shaking his head Roxas went to grab the other piece of fabric, concluding they were his pants… well probably more like shorts. Holding them up in his hands Roxas figure he wasn’t going to be able to wear any boxers with the tiny shorts.

Letting out an unpleasant sound Roxas changed into the shorts as quickly as possible. He was afraid to turn to look in the mirror once he was done. He could feel the pleather sticking to his legs unpleasantly and let out another groan.

With the last thought of ‘might as well get it over with’, Roxas turned to face the mirror.

Holy crap.

The only word that came to mind was prostitute.

Well, probably a conservative prostitute. Luckily, for him, the shorts did come just above mid thigh, and although they were low-rise they still covered him appropriately. But still, a large amount of his midriff was showing and he could see the bugle his… uh hum, package made.

There was absolutely no way he was going to wear this costume.

Padding over to the door, Roxas opened it just a tiny crack to yell out to Axel, “There’s no way I’m wearing this in front of people.”

There was only silence as he waited for Axel to answer. Opening the door a little wider Roxas peeked out into the hall. No one was there. Where had Axel gone?

“Axel?” Roxas called out, poking his upper body out of the doorframe, looking to the right then the left. The red head had been there just a second ago… Taking a cautious step out Roxas wondered where Axel has gone.

“Woah, Roxas! Nice costume! I didn’t know you had it in you!”

Turning his head quickly, Roxas saw Demyx standing a couple feet down the hall. He saw the older blonde’s eyes looking him up and down as he nodded his head a couple times. Roxas felt himself blush profusely as he bolted back into the room so only his head was sticking out.

“It looks good on you, but man, you’ve got some guts, kid,” he added cheerfully, before turning around and heading back down the hall.

Feeling even more embarrassed Roxas quickly shut himself back into Axel’s station. He couldn’t believe someone had seen him wearing the stupid costume. Chewing his lower lip, Roxas cast a quick glance over at the mirror.

Demyx has said it looked good.

Looking back over at the mirror, Roxas supposed he was skinny enough to pull off wearing such revealing clothing. And he had to admit his ass did fill out the shorts nicely, but still! It was uncomfortable and degrading.

As he looked at himself more closely in the mirror he began to wonder what exactly the costume was supposed to be anyways. It was just a zip up and a pair of shorts… oh and a hat. What was he? A go-go dancer?

Roxas heard the door open and it caused his breath to catch in his throat. Jumping, Roxas whipped himself around to face the door

“Hey Roxy, Demyx made this for you…”

He wasn’t sure what surprised him more, the fact that Axel was standing in the door way, one hand still on the door knob and the other holding a plastic red cup, watching him. Piercing green eyes raking down his body and slowly coming back up to look into blue eyes. Or if it was the fact that Axel was standing there in nothing but a pair of low riding baggy beige pants with red suspenders. His chiselled torso covered by nothing other than tattoos and a red firefighter’s helmet on his head.

“… he said you might… need it…” Axel trailed off, his eyes once again dropping. He was memorizing every dip and curve of Roxas’ body so he could use it again later.

Roxas was pretty sure his whole body was blushing at this point. Roxas quickly turned his eyes to the floor, he couldn’t look at Axel. He was nearly a hundred percent sure it was the fact Axel was only wearing pants that was making him blush. Not the fact he was also nearly naked in front of Axel. It was because he could see Axel’s chest and it wasn’t quite what he had imagined the other night…

The music in the lobby blared to life as they stood there in silence, Roxas refusing to look up from the floor. For once, he was not going to do or say anything because stupid just because he thought Axel was drop dead sexy.

“Maybe you should wear that trench coat...” Axel stated slowly, regaining his senses. Setting the cup down, Axel grabbed a long black coat off the back of the door. “I might not be able to help myself later if you don’t,” Axel added with a smile handing the coat over to him.

Taking the coat with a shy smile, Roxas slipped his arms into it, quickly using it to cover himself. It was a long black coat that reached the floor with long sleeves and a large hood. “Thanks,” he stated finally managing to bring his eyes up off the floor. He quickly brought his eyes up to Axel’s face, trying his best to skip looking at the red head’s tattooed chest. “Can you pass me the drink?” He definitely needed something if he was going to get through this night.

“Sure,” Axel replied, turning and grabbing the drink from where he set it down. “Demyx was right though, you look really good in it. We’ll just need to add accessories,” he added as he handed the drink to Roxas.

Blushing at the comment, Roxas nodded slightly. “What am I supposed to be anyways?” he asked, taking a small sip of the drink. Roxas pursed his lips slightly as he swallowed, the liquid burning down his throat. Wow, whatever Demyx made was strong. Lifting the rim of the glass back up to his lips Roxas took another gulp of the drink; it wasn’t one of the worst things he’d drank.

“A sexy cop,” Axel replied with a grin, making Roxas almost spit out his drink. “I’ve got a gun, well a water gun, and badge in here somewhere.” Turning, Axel sifted through a small pile of things and pulled out a belt and holster and a small metal badge.

“Sexy cop? Do I even want to know why you have this costume?” Roxas asked, shaking his head. Taking another quick gulp of his drink Roxas grabbed the accessories and quickly attached them to his costume, “That ok?”

“Hot,” Axel replied with a grin, letting his eyes drag up and down the blond’s body once more. “The party has already started so you should finish eating your pizza pockets and then I can go show you off,” Axel laughed, a lustful grin on his lips.

Roxas just humphed as he picked up his now cold pizza pocket. “Maybe I’ll just ditch you tonight,” Roxas replied, teasing sarcasm in his tone. He couldn’t help a smile as he brought the pastry up to his lips and took another bite. Ew, gross. Closing his eyes momentarily, Roxas popped the rest into his mouth and chewed.

Stepping up to the short blond, Axel wrapped his arms around Roxas’ thin waist. “Thanks for coming tonight and doing this, means a lot to me,” he whispered, leaning down to place a soft kiss against Roxas’ temple. Relishing in the moment for only a second longer Axel let go of Roxas and headed for the door. “Let’s go have some fun!”

Finishing off the last of his drink and feeling the warmth spread throughout his body, Roxas smiled. He was actually feeling excited about this party now, which was something entirely new to him. And it was all thanks to Axel.

Wait…

Hold the phone…

This was a sexy party? Then why was Sora coming? Oh no, he was going to have to have a long talk with Riku…
