Chapter Four
“Okay then.” Garrick said with a crooked smile. Nienna hated the way he looked at her. Looking over her well formed body, slowly stripping off all her cloths. She could see the lust in his eyes, and it made her sick.
“Well,” She said turning her nose up a bit, “I think I shall go pack for tomorrow's journey.” What she really wanted was just to get away from these filthy humans. Well, maybe not Sir Darvis.
“No. Amonon said that we are too show you around, and, my lady, that would be a deep honor.” Darvis said and bowed a little, as they walked down the cathedral's steps. Nienna had a faint blush upon her cheeks.
“Well, I suppose I could take a short walk.” She smiled politely at him. Lyndsey rolled her eyes ate Nienna and curled her upper lip.
“Great! Its settled, now I know this wonderful place!” Garrick laughed out and placed his arm around Nienna. He was easily a head taller then her. Nienna jerked away from his hold and looked at him sternly.
“I do not like being touched,” and before she could say by filthy humans, Lyndsy interrupted her.
“What? Are you some delicate creature? You look more man built to me.” She sneered at her. Nienna already decided she did not like this woman. She would not have taken this woman's opinion into consideration had it not been for the slight shoulder shove she gave her.
“Do you have a problem with me human?” Nienna said stopping on her tracks and glaring at her. By now they were in front of the dwarven district to cut down into Old Town. Nienna gripped her staff tightly and awaited the human's response.
“Yes, in fact I do.” Lyndsy said and returned the glare. All three men by now were backing off just a little, to give them room to breathe. Garrick, no longer smiling, gave Lyndsey a stern look. Darvis was hiding his disgusting smirk behind his emotionless face. He was ready to see this battle play out. Thomas just stood there, having said nothing.
“Well, speak your mind, human.” She sneered at the smaller woman. Her fingers on her free hand danced slightly, awaiting a spell that she had in mind, if the girl was to attack her.
“Why don't you call me by my name?” Lyndsey said taking a step closer to the draenei. Nienna wrinkled her nose up in disgust.
“Because, that is all you are. You are a human.” Nienna said with a superior smirk. By now Lyndsey was losing her grip. This pompous, arrogant alien was insulting her in her own city. How dare she think that she was better then her. Lyndsey couldn't take it anymore, with a threatening hiss throws a curse at her.
Nienna could fell the sudden pain of the spell. Her whole body suddenly terribly hurt. At first, she didn't want to move a muscle, but she knew she had to teach this girl her place. She quickly threw up her hand, which was now glowing with holy energy, and shielded herself from further pain. Lyndsey was already forming a dark energy ball, ready to throw it at her. For the moment though, she could do nothing, and she hated it. She wasted her magic anyways and threw the ball at her. Nienna's shield block her from harm.
Quickly, Nienna uttered the holy words for her fire, and sent it right at the warlock, burning her in holy flames. Lyndsey let out a small cry, but held herself up. When she looked up at the draenei, she already had another spell ready. Out from her hand came a white bolt that pierced right through the human. Lyndsey dropped to her knees shaking.
“Give up?” Nienna said, already preparing her next spell, but before she could cast it, she was restrained.
“That is enough.” Garrick said holding onto her wrist with one hand, and wrapping his arm around her waist. Thomas was over helping Lyndsey to her feet. Nienna felt a bit sore from the earlier curse, but Lyndsey got the worse. She had scorch marks over her entire body.
“Let me go.” Nienna said and squirmed again him slightly, never taking her eyes off the hurt girl.
“Sir Darvis, if you will. Please heal our comrade.” Thomas said for the first time. Darvis nodded and went over to the girl and touched her shoulder gently. A soft holy light spread across her body and healed most of her burns. Nienna held still against the stronger male as he continued to hold her. Lyndsey looked away in shame as the draenei smiled triumphantly.
“Now you know not to ever question me again.” Nienna said, throwing it more in her face. Garrick just rolled his eyes at her antics.
“Thomas help Lyndsey back to her home. I don't think this is going to work today.” Garrick sighed and loosened his grip on her wrist, but still held Nienna tightly to him. Thomas just nodded and led Lyndsey pass Nienna and towards her house in the Park. “That was not necessary Nienna.” Garrick whispered into her ear softly.
“You can let me go now.” She said and struggled against his grip. Darvis, by now, was a bit upset that the ragged rogue was able to hold this succulent woman, and not him. Oh well, he thought, the time will come soon.
“Why? I like holding you.” He said teasing her. Again Nienna was getting upset. How dare these humans treat her as an equal. She was far superior to them.
“If you don't let me go, I will cook you just like I did that whore a moment again.” She hissed out and him. Darvis could no longer contain his smile, and grinned at the mad priest.
“Such a potty mouth.”Garrick said and let her go. “I guess we shall meet tomorrow at the tower. Please be a bit nicer to Lyndsey. You have proven to be a worthy opponent, and I would hate to have to hurt you.” He grinned at her. Nienna took a swing at him with her staff, but he side stepped avoiding the blow.
“I will go gather my things. Till morrow my dear lady.” Darvis said and bowed to her before turning heel and walking away. Nienna's temper was gone at the sight of the handsome paladin again. She didn't even hear Garrick sneak up behind her.
“Something about that man is just not right.” He said in a very serious voice. Nienna quickly turned her head up to yell at him, but the look on his face scared her for a moment. His dark eyes were stern, glaring at the fading figure of the paladin. His once crooked smile was now covered by a scowl. He looked down at her after Darvis was gone from view. “I would be careful if I was you. Heard some rumors awhile back. Nothing good comes from him. I'll see you tomorrow.” He said and nodded his head at her. Nienna nodded back and then looked for the paladin one last time. Within the moment of turning her head one direction to the next, she looked back to find Garrick, but he was no where to be found. She was alone, standing on the bridge, clutching her staff tightly with her heart racing.

Fawnheart – Well, there will be some of the paladin, but you never know with Garrick. I have my plans, my evil evil plans. Buahaha! Hope you liked the small catfight. There are a few more to come, and sorry the chapter is a bit short. Been feeling a little under the weather lately. Till next time.
Horde FTW – Don't worry, the paladin will get worse. A lot worse. He is waiting for his time, but don't worry. Things will happen.
C.O.K. - Glad you liked it. Hope you read more. I update every wednesday.
