Crying times
She cringed slightly as they entered through Orgrimmar's main gates, the heat coupled with the scent of hot, smelly beings, most notably the orcs, assaulted her senses anew. Even though she had experienced the Orc capital before, she could never quite get used to the place. Gloved hand reached up to cover her nose, pretending to scratch it so she wouldn't offend anyone in particular. "Why is this place always like this..?"
Khine barked once at a passing troll...he had come from the bar, the stench of alcohol eminating from him almost made her woozy. "Ardennes...lets hurry up before i faint!" She whined.
Ardennes just looked down to his new love, smirking. "We could always detour to Undercity if you wanted..." She responded with an elbow to his ribs, the big bull giving a grunt of displeasure. "Oww.."
"It didn't hurt you big baby." "Did too..."
They approched the inn slowly, unsure of what would come screaming out of the doorway. After a moment of nothing, Ardennes stepped in, eyes locking on the familiar innkeeper.
"Lok'Tar. " The orc said, raising a hand in the air. Ardennes followed in suit, raising the same hand. Thyone watched the spectacle with interest.
"Welcome to the finest Inn in the land!" The orc bellowed out, striking her chest with a fist, making Khine let out a grumble.
"Yeah...Sure. Anyways, Kol'tam and and Undead guy came here about three days ago. Did they get rooms for us?"
"Hm. Yes. But they didn't pay, so I kicked them out."
"You did WHAT!? I gave them gold to pay you with dammit!" Ardennes leaned forward, obviously pissed off. "Hey, don't look at me Ard." She heald her hands up." They came in, then turned around and left. You know how Kol'Tam can get with money."
"I'll filet that Blue bastard!" Ardennes turned, and looked down to Thyone, who had her hands on her hips.
"No room, I take it?" He shook his head. "Alright...lets go find them." "Yeah. Should have given the money to Vertris.."
They found their wayward party members in the pub. Seems the whole scene was as tipsy as the people in the bar. Ardennes entered slowly, looking around for any signs of the priest that had negleted his duties. "Sure he's in here?" Thyone asked, hand gripping the leather mantle he wore. "Yeah. If Kol'Tam went anywhere, it'd be here. The place was in a melodious uproar, in the corner a group of orcs had arms around each other, singing a song in their language. He ducked a flying glass, growling as mead splattered on his face. "We need to find them, fast." Thyone sighed, tussling some of her hair out of her face. she jumped as she felt something touch the calf of her leg and turned, seeing a bony hand waving her out. She followed, looking out the door and to the side. "Vertris! I thought someone would be playing catch with your head!" No, she still didn't hug him. Maybe if he were alive? "What happened? Where is kol'Tam?" Vertris just pointed in the bar. She sighed, flopping down beside him, back resting against the wall, eyes closing. "Let me guess. He wanted to go get a drink. You tried to tell him to get the rooms, but you can't talk, so he went anyways." The clatter of a lower jawbone hitting an upper answered her question.
"Kol'Tam...KOL'TAM!" He bellowed at the troll, one large hand grabbing him by the robes. Stone drunk, the inebriated priest couldn't even stand. He pulled the troll up and over his shoulder pauldron, turning to exit the bar. A beer mug meant for him smashed Kol'tam in the face, knocking him out cold. The tauren turned, seeing the assailant. A drunk orc stood. "He-ey yooouuu...Yoush cantsh take my drinking buuu*Belch!*uuddyy!" The orc stood...or what counted for it, and advanced. He raised a green fish, swinging it way too early, the momentum of a strike that would usually devastate an opponent twirled him around. Losing his balance, he fell at Ardenne's feet, the tauren shaking his head as he left.
Thyone jumped as the troll landed beside her in a heap, making all sorts of baby cooing noises at her. She backed up, standing to stay away. "Well, he didn't spend all the money, somehow. Come on, lets get a room." He said, grabbing the Kol'Tam by his neck and lifting him over a shoulder. As they entered the inn, he tossed a few silver and copper pieces into the hands of the innkeeper. Gryshka, Thyone learned her name was. "Thanks Gryshka. We're only staying for the night. " "Alright you two. Ardennes, be gentle with her!" Thyone blushed as Ardennes merely waved a hand.
Thyone pulled the covered over herself, her body dressed in a white nightgown. She looked up at Ardennes, who was reading a letter that had come for him earlier.
"How is Kol'Tam doing?" She asked. Not concerned, just curious. Although she was thankful to the priest for helping her, she didn't find anything in his behavior that she cared to be around.
"He's fine. Still out colder than an Ice Sprite last time I checked." He set the letter down, sighing softly as he sat on the bed.
"Whats the matter? She said, climbing onto his chest, resting her head in the soft fur. "My guild is sending me to Arathi tomorrow. I won't be able to accompany you to Silvermoon. "
"Alright, i gue- wait, WHAT!?" her head shot up, eyes locking with his. "You're going to Arathi? Why!? After so little time, you're leaving me!?" Hands grabbed fistfuls of soft fur as tears welled in her eyes.
"The Alliance has to be fought, and the Crimson Guard is sending me to the front. " He sighed softly. He hated leaving her...he truly did, but he had a duty to fulfill. He reached out, stroking her hair softly, the Blood Elf nuzzling into her hand gently. "Why? it's only been three weeks...I love you too much..." She cried softly on him, and he couldn't do anything but wait until she cried herself to sleep. "I love you too..."
