.Fell In Love with a Girl.
‘Oh no, oh no, oh no.’ I was worried. Duel her?! Why! She was cackling and laughing at me. Sunwell, please tell me she hasn’t gone insane.
“Calm down, Kurdt! It’s just for fun.” She smiled and picked up a dull skinning knife, twirling it in her hand effortlessly. “You can even use both your weapons and your armor if you want.”
“Ouch, that hurts my feelings!” I gave her my best pout. I guess I could stand to duel with a barely-dressed Night Elf. “Okay, I’ll duel you, but you have to go easy on me.”
‘3...2...1...’ as I started to sprint at her, she sprung up into the trees above me. She laughed and bounced around from branch to branch. She perched just above my head and taunted me. Thinking craftily, I grabbed a Lynx pelt and threw it at her, knocking her out of the tree. She fumbled around on the ground like a cat in a bag. I couldn’t help but laugh at her. She was so cute with her hair all mussed, panting on the ground like that.
“You sneaky elf!” She made a quick gesture towards Adia, sicking her on me. The large cat ran towards me and tackled me to the ground playfully, licking my face. Let me assure you, Adia was a beautiful animal, but by no means looked friendly at all. I wanted to laugh and wrestle with the cat, but I was too afraid she’d accidentally eat my face off. Isra and Adia were obviously enjoying my torment. She called her pet back to her then ran at me. I braced myself for her attack. She did a flip over my head and I ducked. I think she was teasing me. The huntress came up behind me, her left arm wrapped around me and I froze. …Partially because she was touching me, but also because the old dagger was placed up to my neck. She let out a low, bemused giggle in my ear, so close I could feel her breath on my lobe. “Looks like I win already, Blood Elf.”
Embarrassing as it is… I fainted. Most likely from my blood rushing from one head to…Uhm, the other.
I awoke to her mumbling and waving her hands over my face trying to give me air. As I came to, her words became more apparent. “Kurdt? Kurdt! Are you okay? What happened? What do I do?!” She was leaning over me, almost on top. Apparently, when I had fallen I took her down with me.
I motioned her to lean towards me, placing a hand on her arm. She put her ear close to my mouth to listen, “You could give me CPR.”
She gasped and I choked out a laugh. I think she may have blushed… hard to tell with skin that color. But her expression was right. She instinctively helped me up, her soft hands grasping mine. I had become more confident now, more flirtatious. I wanted her to like me… for some reason. I wanted to be closer to her. I had to know if she felt the same way. History be damned, Elf King be damned; I wanted this woman for my own.
Before she could draw her hands away, I held them tight. Our hands were almost the same size…Equals. No waiting at home for the other to return from war. No wails or screams of children, only the sound of nature. We were away from everything, with only each other. How could this be wrong? How could this or she… be any more perfect for me? Two outcasts, we could run away from it all.
I led her by the hands to the fire and sat us down on the log in front of it. Her blue eyes blinked constantly, a sign of her being nervous. I just gazed at her, our eyes locked. I was going to make my move. No matter how terrifying, I had to make her mine now. I had to know if she wanted this, or if she would even consider. I opened my mouth, hoping the words would find their way.
“Isra…” That was all I could manage. My body spoke for me, it moved on its own. My mind’s willpower had far surpassed my fear of her blade. In fact, it was now something… attractive. I would rather be afraid of her than mistreat her with my racial ego and pride. She deserved every ounce of respect in my bones.
I snaked my arm around her waist, her flesh burning mine. But I withstood it; I drowned in it, losing myself to it. Sheer electricity. She didn’t move away, she just gazed into my eyes. Her eyelids became lidded at my touch… I wondered if she felt the same fire as I did. I pulled her to me, my other hand brushing her hair out of her face, then cupping her cheek gently. She placed her hand on my neck, lightly massaging it, her fingers brushing underneath my long black hair, tangling in it. We were both breathing heavily, our faces coming closer together. I brushed my lips lightly against hers then watched for her reaction. Her expression was completely entranced, and euphoric. Her eyes slid shut and her elfin ears wilted in submission. Her mouth opened slightly to invite me. She whispered something in Thalassian, my native language, which took me slightly by surprise… But I understood her words, ‘Kiss me…’ and obliged. I pressed my lips to hers, and we both inhaled in shock. Prickles went dashing through my blood, adrenaline peaking, arousing everything primal within me. Our lips melded together, her hand rubbing the back of my neck, my arm tightening around her waist. I felt her tongue pry against my lips, wanting to explore my mouth. I parted them and she moved her tongue against mine timidly. My world spun topsy-turvy. The kiss was alcoholic, and slow... I was lost, my entire being exploding. Instinctively, I urged on, kissing with mad passion now--but still in tune with her movements. My hand rubbed her exposed back and side. Our mouths locked in an intimate dance, tongues dueling for dominance. After what seemed like a blissful forever, she broke the kiss, pulling away slowly.
Our eyes barely open, assessing each other with weakened minds and raging pulses in the dim fire-light. I leaned into the nape of her neck, lightly kissing and biting it. She sighed in content, my hair tickling at her chest as it draped over her shoulder. Her soft hands began to explore my still-shirtless body. I could feel my lean muscles tense as she grazed over them. My huntress let out a small groan of approval, and I blushed even more. I felt like I was on fire, barely in control of anything at all. She leaned up and licked my earlobe, and I gasped. Elf ears are very sensitive, and she was driving me mad. Biting and suckling along its extended length. It was far too erotic for me. I placed my hands on her shoulders, pushing her away slightly. I had to relieve our ever-growing tension and anticipation before going too far too soon. I spoke in my native tongue, a smooth language, perfect for these occasions, “Bei’la nosh ka’drei…E’lanae na.” She nodded and rested her head on my chest. I held her close to me, ruffling her hair.
“Ite’nai ka’da alunae bo’kei…?” She whispered as she placed kisses on my chest and collarbone.
“Na, na! Kei’lumanari…Ka’jae na’ko tae’kei.” I assured her. Then she looked up at me with her gorgeous, bottomless eyes. I placed a quick kiss on her now swollen lips and said, “Let’s get some rest…”
“Will you sleep with me?” She blushed brightly, realizing the way what she said sounded. But I understood, and took note of her slip…
“Yes, let’s share the bed.” I smiled and she sighed in relief. Suddenly, I was scooped up in her arms, “Ah, hey!” She laughed heartily, and then carried me to the bed in her cave. I liked feeling a little weak around her, and I wanted her to do with me as she pleased... No matter what the cost. I felt that I could truly be myself with her.
She tossed me onto the bed and stared at me, grinning. The heat in me rushed back as she began to crawl from the foot of the bed over my body. She arched her back down, pressing our bodies together, and I groaned. She then slumped on top of me and cuddled against my chest, her arms around my neck. “What was that for?” I growled lazily, one eye open to watch her…in case she did anything else I didn’t want to miss.
“Just being playful.” She piped.
“More like teasing…” I whined a little, still groggy with passion. I saw her grin wickedly at me. ‘Oh no…now that the ice is broken, I’m going to be teased by her beauty for the rest of my life. I hope.’ I smiled back at her. ‘I am going to love every minute of this. The King can just forget I exist… I’ll never bring her back to him.’
I held her close to me through the night, breathing her scent. It felt so comfortable to have her in my arms, making me dizzy with her presence. Every once in a while I would feel her awaken, perhaps hearing something in the distance. All I had to do was kiss her exposed shoulder or neck and she would exhale, fading back into sleep. We were like old lovers.
It would be a shame if all this didn’t happen as fast as it did. Then again, I can only tell so much without sounding silly. Talking, little glances and touches, bashful smiles, all these things contributed…to our realization.
“Calm down, Kurdt! It’s just for fun.” She smiled and picked up a dull skinning knife, twirling it in her hand effortlessly. “You can even use both your weapons and your armor if you want.”
