Chapter 4

Sunlight streamed into the room, making Sarella whine in her sleep, she shifted her weight, tucking her head close to Buck’s chest, rubbing her face in the soft fur. Buck watched her, his eye taking in the sight before him. Sarella, the girl who saved his life, fixed him up, and watched over him like a guardian angel, lie huddled against him. A million thoughts and fears raced through his mind, he felt so strongly for her. In just a few weeks, she had come to mean so much to him. She made him feel like no other woman that he could recall had before. He was in love with her, though he was hesitant to say so, even to himself; unwilling to allow himself to confirm what his heart felt, out of fear. Not fear of rejection like most, but fear of betrayal. The last woman he loved tried to end his life, casting his love aside like garbage in a display of ruthless unabashed selfishness. Sarella was what his wife SHOULD have been, what he had hoped she would change to eventually. But as he learned, you can no more change a person than a leopard could change its spots. He found himself drawn to place a gentle kiss on her forehead. Sarella cooed in her sleep and huddled closer to him, her arms tightening about him. Buck allowed a smile to cross his face at her affection, it quickly turned to a look of shock as he felt her hand trail down his chest and abdomen to slip under the band of his pants.

Her soft hand was warm and gentle. She murmured incoherently as her supple fingers coaxed his flesh to hardness. Buck was in the midst of a moral dilemma, he wanted to stop her, unsure if she meant to do what she was or if she was just acting out a dream, however, he also was enjoying the attention, as was apparent by the dark stain of precum on the front of his bulging trousers. His eyes squinted shut in bliss as her thumb rolled over the tip of his cock whilst her hand milked him. A gasp escaped his lips as she nuzzled his neck sleepily, still murmuring sweet nothings. The last dam in his mind that held back the tide of his lust broke and all morality was scattered to the wind. His hands slipped down between them to unfasten his trousers. A wet smack could be heard as his rampant cock was freed to slap against Sarella’s taut stomach, leaving a shiny trail of his juices. His breath was heavy and hot from his nostrils as his face was a mask of concentration. His hips began to buck as he humped her hand, his cock head sliding along the soft skin of her belly, his precum providing lubrication. He could hear her coo again as her hands groped and squeezed his penis. He could feel himself nearing orgasm, the familiar buildup deep in his loins, the lust in his heart building. As he looked down at Sarella’s face, a faint trace of a smile on her sleeping face, he felt something for her he thought he would never feel again.

“Ah! Ah! Oh Sarella baby, I’m gonna cum! Just a little mooOAAAAAGH!” he cried out as his cock throbbed and a burst of hot semen geyesered out to cover Sarella’s belly and her stroking hand. Buck cupped Sarella’s face in his hands and planted a deep kiss on her lips, lost in the moment. His eyes locked onto hers as he climaxed, watching as hers opened, a perplexed look overcoming her. Her hand immediately stopped stroking, collaring the tip of his cock as one last spurt lurched out to fall over the back of her hand, Buck’s hips still thrusting lazily. Sarella pulled back from his grip, her sleep addled mind trying to sort out what was happening. She touched the cooling puddle of semen on her belly and brought her cum soaked hand to her face, fingers spreading as she observed the streamers of his spunk stringed between them.

“Wha?!” She asked as realization set in. “Oh Buck! What have you done?!” She spoke in a whisper. Her eyes shifting, from her soiled hand to his face, her expression changing to a frown of anger. “I told you NO tricky business!” She shouted, slapping him across the face with her other hand.

“What the hell are you talking about?!” he asked, rubbing his cheek.

“How could you?!”

”What?! YOU stuck YOUR hand down MY pants! I didn’t do a damn thing!” he defended.

“Men!” Sarella shouted. “Can’t even get a night’s rest without em tryin ta stick their dicks in ya!” She grumbled, rising from the bed, staring at the mess all over her skin.

“Where you goin?!” Buck asked in an almost panicked voice.

“Where do ya think you oaf?! I’m gonna take a bath and clean up all this cum ya hosed me with!”

“Oh…” Buck thought aloud.

“Well, at least it looks like I still got mah touch.” Sarella spoke proudly. “Didn’t even have to be awake, you must be really pent up or really easy to please.” She chuckled.

Buck rose to his feet, fixing his breaches. “Figure I’ll go have some breakfast then.” He sighed, a hint of sadness in his voice. As he pulled his simple linen shirt over his head, Sarella snuck up behind him and placed a gentle kiss on his scarred cheek.

“Don’t worry ‘bout it.” She soothed. “Coulda been worse, I coulda had a nightmare and tore it off!” She began laughing hysterically at Buck’s expression.

“Buck!” She called out as he reached the door.

“Yeah?” he asked, slowly turning to face the nude troll standing in the bathroom doorway.

“Get me some coffee and an omelette with dwarven cheddar and Thelsamar sausage!” She spoke, making the cutest face she could as she hugged the doorway.

“I ain’t no waiter!” He barked.

“Thank you sweetie!” She chimed. “I love you too!”

Buck sat in his chair, eating his toast as he read the paper. The death of Jagen had made a big splash, after all, it’s not every day one of the horde’s most decorated, albeit shady, officers is killed by his own comerade. Of course the newspapers and those who condemned him had no knowledge of what Jagen had done to him.

He smelled her before she reached the table, the soft perfume she wore, the herbal soap, and her fragrant shampoo. He made no effort to turn and face her, unsure if he could look her in the eyes after this morning. But, he felt himself sigh a bit as her soft hand found his shoulder, sliding up his neck and along his snout as she passed by. He forced himself to look up at her smiling face as she held his chin on the tip of her finger. She stroked his face a little longer as she sat down in her chair opposite his at the small table. He allowed his gruff demeanor to crack a bit, blushing a bit as he returned her smile. Sarella broke the ice as she looked down at her plate, cooing in delight at the spread before her.

“Ya got everythin! Mmmmm, it all looks so yummy!” She spoke, the mood lightening. “Oh! Fruit! I didn’t even think of that! You’re SUCH a sweetheart!”

Buck spoke, his voice cracking at first “Yeah, I figured ya might like that.”

“Awww.” She mocked. “I should crank your bits every mornin! Seems to change ya from a cranky hardass into a decent gentleman!” Buck choked on his coffee as she said this, coughing and sputtering. Sarella laughed hysterically as Buck fumbled.

“Wonder what it’d do to ya if I happened to screw ya in my sleep?” She asked with an imp like grin, delighting in finally finding a hole in Buck’s seemingly impervious shell. His squirming and blushing making her giggle with glee.

“Don’t go makin’ promises you won’t keep.” Buck warned, trying to get back a bit.

“Who says I won’t?” She replied grinning from ear to ear as his eyes widened.

“So, why’d you slap the shit out of me if you wanna do all these things?” He asked.

“Because that wasn’t meant for you.” She answered in a matter of fact way. “That one was for Melloy.”

Buck seemed a bit deflated by that, shoulders slumping a bit. Sarella reached out to again caress his face. “I’ll never forget Melloy; I loved him with all my heart.” She explained. “But I also know he’s gone, and he’d want me to move on. As much as I care for you, I’ll always have a place in my heart for Melloy.” Buck nodded, understanding her reasons, and finding happiness in the full meaning of what she had just said.

Breakfast had taken a much happier turn and both found themselves unable to stop smiling at each other as they ate and talked. After paying for their meal, they returned to their room and began packing up their clothing, moving to check out of the hotel.

“Where we goin now?” Sarella asked.

“Not really sure.” Buck replied. “I’m really losin interest in trackin Natalya down. Think I’d much rather just go home with you… if that’s ok with you of course.”

“Aw crap.” She joked. “I picked up a stray.” Buck frowned a bit in distaste for her jab.

“Ah let’s see.” The innkeeper spoke, bringing the two back to reality. “Room 203, three nights’ stay, and a room service charge for a bottle of rum on the second.” Buck looked confused.

“I like to let my hair down when I travel.” Sarella sheepishly admitted. Buck stared at her with a raised eyebrow.

“Total comes to twenty-three gold and sixty eight copper.” He announced.

“Charge it to my account.” Buck said.

“Ok, name?”

“Warlord Brobanak Plainsrunner” He answered, gathering his bags and moving for the door. Sarella followed close by, looking at him with curiosity.

“Warlord Brobanak?” She asked.

“Buck is a nickname I earned many years ago, its stuck with me for so long it’s kinda replaced my real name.” He explained.

“Sir!” The innkeeper shouted. “Wait!”

“The account is reputable” Buck defended as he turned. “I have several hundred thousand go...”

“Oh no sir! Nothing about the account! I just forgot you had a message waiting for you! Here, it came during the night.” The innkeeper explained, handing Buck a blank envelope. He opened it and withdrew a note. He read it for a few minutes, eyes growing wide as he looked into the bottom of the envelope.

“What is it Buck?”

“It says ‘Meet me on the eastern border of Astranaar. It concerns your wife.’”

“Do you think they know where she is?”

“More than likely peaches… They sent me this as well. It’s her wedding band…”
