Chapter Four: Bash
Ah, the question about the M/M, well, that’s in next chapter. It has to do with Dante x Vergil; Temin-Ni Gru.

Chapter 4:
Bash
New Year’s Eve
Now this, this has to be my favorite holiday. I love it, the fireworks, drinking, partying. I know, it’s not quiet me, but I just can’t help myself on this night. I have a champagne glass in one hand and a beer in the other. I know, not very ‘lady-like’, but hey! It’s New Year’s Eve, time to, how they put it, ‘get down and funky’. Plus, I’ve only had like, two or three….bottles of beer and two glasses of champagne.
But poor Dante, he’s trying soo hard to get drunk. He’s gone through two kegs and five boxes of champagne. I tried offering him sake or vodka, but he’s dead stuck on trying to get wasted off those two things. I’m not drunk, no way. I mean, I’m very ‘aware’, I don’t normally get wasted till five beers, but that’s me. I just sit atop of Dante’s desk in the office, staring at the TV sitting over by the couches as the news flickered over the screen.
Letting out a sigh as I leaned over to grab another bottle of beer, popping open the top with a frown as the liquid fizzed and poured all over me. I heard him laugh from the couch as my upper lip twitched with a soft growl, “You jerk!” I hissed, throwing the bottle at his head which he swiftly moved out of the way. The glass busting over one of his speakers, which made me laugh when a frown curled over his lips.
“There, we’re even.” I smirked, grabbing another bottle that I quickly opened as far away from myself as possible. Though, this one didn’t fizz, which I quickly drunk down. Keeping my eyes back on the TV screen which flickered over to the clock on the wall, 11:58 pm. Jeez, already, only two more minutes till midnight! I can’t wait, fireworks and then bed. Which, mind you, it’s still nice and crispy out with snow; the windows are all still open. But, Dante got over his cold a few days after Christmas.
I yawned slightly as I brought a hand up to rub my eyes with a small sneeze. Ugh, no, I can’t be getting sick, if I do, Dante will make me stay home from hunting. Not…like I do what he says, cause, I am NOT dating him. I would never, ever date him. Wait, where did… he go? I turned my eyes over to the couch to notice the big doofus was missing, making my mouth falter into a frown.
A nearly jumped off the desk when I felt warm skin curl around my chin, pulling my head to look up. Rolling my eyes as I saw Dante with a perverse, vile grin on his face, “What?” I murmured, letting out a heavy sigh as he chuckled in return. “It’s midnight, Lady.” He whispered, sweeping a thumb over my bottom lip. My whole body shuttered, I swear it has a mind of it’s own. I didn’t do that, I inwardly cringed at his touch, I wanted to just throw the booze up that rested in my stomach.
But I didn’t, which, I should have. “Dante..?” I raised my brow up in question of this, sudden time telling. I was only frozen in shock as he lowered his head and pressed his lips against mine, making me gasp. Stupid me! Stupid, idiotic me. I should have bit him, but no, I let his tongue slide inside my mouth. I let it caress against my own and I even went as low as to suck the muscle farther into my mouth. Receiving an odd noise from his throat, feeling his fingers curl into the back of my head and keep it still.
We kept like that for a few moments till he noticed I needed to breathe, pulling back with a soft pant from both our lungs. It took me a couple minutes to realize what had just happened, letting the moment repeat itself in my mind over and over. It kept like that till I finally snapped back to reality and pushed him off.
“Dante!” I hissed, back handing him across the face before taking off up the stairs to my room. Slamming the door behind myself and leaning against the wood, slowly sliding down to have my knees press against myself. I could hear him downstairs, throwing the bottles against the floor as he stomped up the stairs. I closed my eyes, waiting for him to try and open the door but instead he leaned against it, sliding into the same position as myself.
I couldn’t do this, not now, there’s no way. He’s a demon and I’m a human but the thing is…He’s also half human.
