A visit to the Main Camp
Mid-night, Ce comes in. “You’re still up?” Ce asks, throwing himself on the bed. Finally sleeping, “yes, I am writing a novel.” Said Da.
“oh, really?” Ce sounded interested, he jumped off the bed.
And took the papers from Da, reading her ‘novel’.
Ce was reading a couple of minutes then “Isn’t this your diary?” asked Ce.
“its personal!” Da exclaim, rushing to grab the papers, but Ce moves her hand away, “I.. I’m writing a novel of my life.” Said Da.
“I see. And you’re going to let people read these personal things? I don’t understand.” Ce said, “they won’t. it’s a novel for myself!” Da explains.
“what's the point of writing a novel for yourself? A waste of time!” Ce commented and went to sleep.
Morning, Da look up, Ce isn’t in his bed.. Wars. Oh, if only they’d end..
Breakfast, Zhou Yu is all prepared, ready to leave after breakfast.
“take care of yourself.” Xiao says softly. “I’ll try.” says Zhou Yu.
“you will!” Xiao demands, Zhou Yu laughs, “aye, madam.” he comments,
and kisses Xiao’s forehead then leaves. Xiao waves goodbye as he ride his horse to the main camp. Noticing her sister, Da, she greets. Da greets back.
“Xiao, will you accompany me to the garden?” she asks, “of course,” Xiao replies cheerfully.
After a while, Da and her sister returned to the castle.
Da, feeling worried, asks the guard “where is lord Sun Ce?”
“he’s in the main camp, my lady.” Replied the guardian.
Da, feeling tired of Ce away all the time, decided to visit the main camp to check on Sun Ce and his ‘issues’.
A carriage carried Lady Da to the main camp, Lady WU protested at first, but she gave in when Da explained it’ll only be for a while.
In the main camp, its fairly late. The camp was a series of tents.
Solider and officers running around. Very messy.
Wounded soldiers.. Blood.. Weapons.. Death. It was a place of horror.
A soldier escorted Da to Sun Ce’s tent. Da enters. Bows her head politely .
Ce was having a meeting with his officers.
Ce, noticing Da, surprised. “What are you doing here?? Its not safe! Get back to the castle!”
“my apologies, my lord, but I was worried, I haven’t seen you the whole day.. I—” Da explains. “now you’ve seen me, would you please get back now?”
Ce asks, Lu Meng interferes “pardons, my lord, lady Qiao was fairly worried about you, I think you should get back now we can handle everything, my word,” Lu meng suggests. Sun Ce takes a breathe, thinking.
Gan Ning bust in the tent and declare “lord, its Cao Cao—”
He spots lady Qiao, a woman in the main camp is something odd for some reason. “what’s this lady doing?” Gan Ning asks, “the lady is our lord’s wife! Imbecile.” Ling Tong bust in, always looking forward to argue.
Gan Ning glares at Ling Tong, control himself, “anyway, Cao Cao has constructed a—” Gan Ning began to say, “later, I’ve to escort her [Da] back to the castle, I’ll be back short while after.” he explains.
“aye,” Gan Ning replies.
