Chapter 4
Training Ends, Battle Begins


Zephyer has finished his training with his mother, Lindsay. He has mastered her fighting skills and learned how to use his powers. Now he has to train with his father, Zero. Soldjermon saw Lindsay training her son and was surprised on how strong Lindsay is. Bass even was no match for her at all since she was revived back to life by Dr. Wily. X and Zero were close to her power. If the three fought, it would be a long battle. Lindsay would continue to regenerate if she ever got hit with their blasters, she would even have a hard time defeating X and Zero since they are close to her power. Bass has feared that the three will fight to the death in the future, he is not certain on who’s going to win since they are powerful, but he knows that Lindsay can’t be defeated. Bass has always wondered on why Wily revived her back to life. Is it because Wily wanted to get rid of Light’s creations for good? Is it because of Wily’s desire to rule the world, but with Lindsay and Zero? Or is it just for power? This Bass could not answer since Wily is now gone.

Soldjermon watched as Lindsay trained since Zephyer was now training with Zero. Lindsay wanted her son to be ready just incase the new evil is strong and posses a threat. She knows Soldjer’s future and hers, the question is, Will she live or die? That’s for her to decide on her fate. Lindsay has died before and doesn’t fear death, except her own power. She sighed and panted as she took a break from training. She has been training combat fighting for more than 5 hours now. She had to be ready. Soon the new evil that’s lurking in the headquarters will show it’s face soon. Lindsay can feel and sense it. So far she still does not know on who the spy is, even everyone in the headquarters has not got information on who the spy is. Lindsay is very frustrated with this. If the evil isn’t found in time, Soldjer’s fate could be sealed sooner and everyone else’s. She has to act fast and soon.

Zero trained his son on how to use his buster on his arm. His son learned quickly and also learned how to dash with the booster rockets underneath his feet. Zero even gave him his own saber, even though it’s small. Axl and X watched as Zephyer learned quickly. Signas was even there and was surprised on how fast Lindsay and Zero’s son learned. The room was filled with shots coming from Zero and Zephyer’s busters as his son learned more on how to charge up on the buster and release it into one big powerful shot. The shot hit it’s mark and Zephyer was pleased.

“Good son. Now for the saber.” Said Zero as he took out his saber.

Zephyer nodded and took out his saber as they both trained in saber slashing. Zero had taught him his own techniques and Zephyer learned quickly.

“Wow. He’s becoming more like Lindsay and Zero.” Said Axl watching them train.

“Yeah. Soon he’s going to be stronger than both of them.” Said X.


Bass kept an eye on the building and so did Treble. They’ve been looking for the spy for the past few months. They too didn’t have any leads on who it may be.

“The spy will show it’s face soon. I can feel it.”

“Growarrrrr!”


Lindsay washed up and headed to the kitchen to get something to eat. That training felt great. I wonder how Zephyer did with Zero. She wrapped the towel around her waist as she got something to eat. She had numerous scars on her body on her legs, arms, chest, and the most disturbing, her back. Her back is very bigger than the rest. It ran diagonally from the right side of her shoulder to the left side of her hip. All of her scars are very sensitive but the back one is extremely sensitive. One swipe at her back will reopen her scar and she’ll pass out. This is also a weakness.

The door opened as Zero and Zephyer came back from training. Zero had to carry his son on his back since he was tired from training. Lindsay came in to see them.

“How did he do?”

“He did great. He’s becoming more like us.” He said as he put Zephyer on his bed in his room. He shut the door. The microwave binged as Lindsay took out her dinner and began eating.

“So. How strong is our son?” she asked while eating.

“He’s getting better.” He was too busy looking at the towel that’s covering her. He licked his lips.

Lindsay finished eating and put the plate in the sink and took a drink of wine. Wine is her best drink better than others since she’s a were-dragon. Unlike other lycans who prefer blood and fresh meat of humans to eat, Lindsay is different. She eats human food like she has been for 150 years and drinks wine instead of blood to wash down the food she ate. There are different varieties of lycans, some are extinct and some are rare. Were-dragons are extinct, but she’s the last one. The ones replacing the lycans are the demons. Demons have been around for thousands of years way before lycans. Vampires however have been around but are rarely seen like the were-dragons. Werewolves are the vampires enemies, not other lycans since a lot are from different tribes. Now demons, vampires, and lycans are considered myths and legends. The only one that is alive and a legend is Lindsay herself, but she’s different. She’s the first were-dragon to evolve and absorb nuclear radiation and get stronger. The same will happen to Zephyer. He is a were-dragon reploid, and he has nuclear radiation his system as well. The difference is he’s a reploid and it depends on if his body wants enough radiation. She taught him how to get nuclear energy and absorb it. His body though rejected it since he already had some when he was born. Lindsay was confused at this.

Lindsay dried herself off to get ready for bed.

Zero just watched her and she’s not noticing that he has been for 15 mins now. He crept closer to her.

She finished drying herself when she felt a lick at her neck. “Zero?”

“Let’s have some fun, for tonight.” His hands have already began to massage her breasts.

“Fine then. But you better keep it down. You’re always loud and I always have to cast the spell around our room so no one would hear us.”

“You know I can’t keep it down since you always feel so tight.” He thrusted his hips and he was in her. He groaned. “See babe.”

“Damn it. You know I can’t resist that.” She moaned as he began to move in her. It’s always the same, back and forth.

Zero lead himself and her to the bed where they made love again for another night. This time it was longer.


Soldjer and Signas were in their bedroom as well. It was night in the headquarters and their son and daughter are in bed. Signas was going over reports trying to find the spy that’s in the building. Everyone including him came up empty. He sighed. “Man. These reports. I can’t find anything on the spy.”

Soldjer looked at him. “It’s okay. I’m sure it was just a joke or something.”

“It was no joke. Someone is after you. I just know it.”

She stretched her wings. “Yeah, but who would write a note saying that I’m the next target to be killed?”

“I don’t know but I know it’s not a good one. Lindsay has been training Zephyer and so is Zero. This means that something big is coming.”

She still had the note in the drawer on her nightstand. It was written in blood. She was still worried of course and so was he. It was 2am and she was getting tired. “Let’s not worry about it and let’s get some sleep, alright?”

“Yeah you’re right.” He said as he put his paperwork on his nightstand and turned off the light. He snuggled up with her. “You know we haven’t made love in awhile.”

“Yeah.” She sighed. She still was worried.

He looked at her. “Maybe some sex will help washing those thoughts away.” He said as he massaged her breasts as he kissed her neck.

She moaned. “I guess we can have sex tonight so we can wash those worried thoughts away.”

He agreed as positioned himself and he entered in her. She moaned as they both made love for an hour for the night.


The next month Zephyer has passed the training and is now a fighter. Melissa and Leon however, were not training, because of their mother and father told them not to for safety reasons. Bass was impressed at Zephyer’s training.

“It seems that he’s going to be the one to defeat this evil if Demi is going to die.”

“Groaaaaarr!” Treble agreed.


In the shadows the figure was watching all of them. “Soon it’ll be time to destroy them all and that of my sister, Soldjermon.” It laughed as it flew off ready to set the trap for all of them.

Another note was found a day later by Delta. He came running in with the threatening note and gave it to Soldjer. Soldjer read it and everyone looked at her.

“What does it say?” asked X.

“It says to come to the Evil Forest outside of town at midnight.” She said reading the note.

“It’s a trap. Who ever is doing it wants us to go there.” Said Zero.

“We have no choice. If we don’t go, he’ll or who ever will come for us and the battle will be here. We don’t want any casualties now would we?” said Lindsay.

“Lindsay’s right. We have to face this head on.” Said X.

“I’ll join the battle even if it means our life.” Said Bass. Treble roared agreeing.

“This means that you Zephyer will battle along side me and your father. Are you ready for battle?” asked Lindsay.

“I thwnk so.”

“You should be. We trained you well and hard. It’s time that you became a true fighter like us to protect this planet.”

Zephyer nodded and agreed.

Soon son, you will have to take the throne since I may be gone if I have to protect Soldjer and everyone else from this evil. Thought Lindsay.

Leon and Melissa were with Signas as they said good bye to everyone as they headed to battle. Signas was worried about Soldjer but with the maverick hunters, he believes she’ll be fine since Lindsay is here to watch over her.


The figure smirked and laughed as he watched them come. “So you’re finally here dear sister. Too bad I have to kill all of your friends before I kill you. Then you will no longer be a threat to me and the world will be mine to rule! HAAHAAAHAAAHAAAA!!!”
