Chapter 4: The Mysterious visitor

Jen just sat in her new room. It was dark outside. The stars littered the ebony sky and shone with the brilliance of a thousand suns. Jen sighed as she grabbed a jacket and walked out her room. She explored, noticing no one was about at least no one she could see.

Humming to herself, she began to sing a song.

Unaware of the lone figure watching her.
" I long to see the sunlight in your hair and tell you time and time again how much I care.

Sometimes I feel my heart will overflow, hello I just got to let you know.

Cause' I wonder where you are and I wonder what you do.

Are you somewhere feeling lonely or is someone loving you,

Tell me how to win your heart for I havn't got a clue but let me start by saying I love you."
Jen continued to hum to herself and turned around and gasped, seeing Zero standing there with a confused look on his face.

Jen then blushed madly and turned and took off, not looking back.
Zero's P.O.V.

I had just finished training when I heard a voice coming from the other room.

I stood in the dark and saw that girl singing a song, just seeing like that without that pain in her eyes or face did something alien to me. Before I lost Iris, I never felt like this but this was something different, something more intense then what Iris had made me feel.

It had been a year since I lost Iris.

I watched the girl as she finished the song, it was beautiful, though I would never admit it to anyone but myself. She turned around and we looked into eachother's eyes for a brief momment.

Her face then colored deeply and she turned to run off. I wanted to stop her but for some reason I didn't.

After her form retreated I turned around to see X standing there with a dumbfounded look.

" Zero, what is it, what's wrong."

" Uh, nothing X. I just finished training and was about to head in. I thought I heard something but I didn't."

X smiled. "Okay then, well goodnight Zero."

Two minutes after X left, the sign on Zero's sign glowed and he fell to the ground grasping his head, screaming.
Jen finally made it to her room, and locked the door behind her. She thought back to her meeting with zero. For some reason he scared her.

When ever she saw him, she could feel her heart race and here blood rush. She never felt that way about anyone before.

Suddenly, she felt dizzy and fell to the ground fast asleep.

Jen looked around." What is this, Where am I?"

She then turned around to see an eerie figure.

She couldn't make it out, it was completly shadowed.

" Who are you, what do you want."

The shadow walked towards her.

Jen tryed to back away but found she couldn't move.

Trembling she widened her eyes.

he talked so low and ghostly that she couldn't make it out.

Suddenly he disappeared and everything went black. ~~ end dream~~
Jen woke up in a sweat. Going to the bathroom she ran cold water over her face then grabbed a towel and wiped herself down. Turning to the window, she saw it was light outside, well sort of.

The sun was just rising, the sky full of pinks, blues, and hues of reds and oranges.

Taking a brush through her golden strands she got the tangles out and placed her hair in a high ponytail.

She then straightened her shirt and pants and walked out of the room, her stomach growling.

She then walked down the hall and froze.

X and Zero were walking her way.

Her breathing hardened and she felt her heart hammer in her chest.

Quickly trying to calm herself, she waited while they came her way.

" Hi jen," X greeted cheerfully.

Jen suddenly started to calm down at X's smile.

She suddenly becme nervous as she spotted Zero looking at her.

' His gaze is so intense, why do I feel this way, I mean he's not even real, well he used to not be real,'

Jen thought as they made their way to the mess hall.
