The Deadlier Few
Beedrill
#015 – Beedrill
Being a bug catcher was dangerous. Usually all kids dealt with were Caterpie, Paras, and maybe the odd Weedle. Those Pokémon were reasonably safe to handle, even for younger trainers. Ever since she’d turned eighteen though she’d been going after the bigger, meaner bugs. Her bold approaches had paid off, until today. Not long ago she’d caught herself a Venomoth. Today though, she had not been so lucky.
It was just a lone Beedrill, she wasn’t expecting the hive to be so close—or so well hidden! They swarmed her, tearing at her with their needle-like appendages. Between that and their grappling legs she’d had the cute little dress she liked to wear torn to pieces, and of course being summer she wore nothing but cheeky panties beneath. Venomoth had helped her escape the initial swarm, but now she was running for her life through Viridian Forest wearing nothing but panties and a blue bow in her auburn hair. Even her sandals had been discarded to facilitate better running.
All she could think about as she ran was the horror stories she'd been told about bug Pokémon using human hosts to lay their eggs. She was pretty sure it wasn’t true, but wasn't totally confident.
She pitch forward suddenly, twisting her ankle on a loose stone and tumbling across the ground. There was no time to recover. The poisonous bee Pokémon fell upon her. She screamed as stingers the size of knives pierced her body and injected searing poison into her veins. It ended, mercifully, when one of the Beedrill ran her through with it’s needle-arm. She glanced down to the wound just below her navel. Darkness crept across her vision, she could feel their stingers but didn’t register the pain.
Perhaps her body would serve as a warning, she thought, to other over-ambitious trainers.
