Bulbasaur do the same getting up one last time, both Pok¨¦mon prepare to trade off SolarBeams, which manage to knock out both Pok¨¦mon. Ash reach in the Quarter Final and next opponent is Gary.
Ash choose his 6 Best Pokemon to fight Gary Pokemon.
Gary leads with Nidoqueen, Ash take Squirtle against Nidoqueen. Nidoqueen attack with Rock Slash then followed by Rock Throw, Squirtle dodge and attack by Hydro Pump and end by Skull Bash, Nidoqueen knock out.
Ash send out Bulbasaur, Gary choose Magmar. Magmar begin by Flamethrower, Bulbasaur manage by Water Gun. Magmar then attack Fire Blast added by Flamethrower, Bulbasaur dodges all and use Solar Beam make knock out the Magmar.
Gary choose Blastoise his starter Pokemon and attack by Skull Bash and hit the Bulbasaur. Bulbasaur use vine whip and hit the Blastoise. In last Blastoise use Hyper Beam and knock out the Bulbasaur. They take 5 min breaks.
Ash choose his Lucario, Gary choose Arcanine. Arcanine use Take Down and Fire spin, Lucario dodge it and encounter by Aura Sphere and knock out by Bone Rush. Gary Scizor send out against Lucario, Scizor attack by Metal Claw and followed by Sword dance, but Lucario all manage by Iron Defense. Lucario use Bullet Punch followed By Aura Sphere and knock out by Blaze Kick.
Gary send Golem to battle against Lucario, Golem leads with Magnitude. Lucario is take a hard hit, because he is tired by battaling two Pokemon. Golem use Rock Throw and knock out Lucario by Rollout.
Ash choose Charizard against Golem, he try to Seismic Toss but Golem is heavy then he knock out by Dragon Rage to Golem. Gary take out his last Pokemon Blastoise for hope defeat Ash four Pokemon. Blastoise use Rapid Sun and again hit by Hydro Pump. Charizard use Aerial and go in the close range of Blastoise then knock out by Flamethrower but Blastoise manage to stand then again Charizard use Dragon Rage against Blastoise Hydro Pump. At last Charizard use Seismic Toss, Blastoise try to out by Bite but he unsuccessful and knock out and Ash go in top 8 or Quarter Final.
Later that night, Ash meets Gary privately by the lake. Gary gives Ash his half of the Pok¨¦ Ball. Reflecting on the battle, Gary isn't ashamed that he had lost the battle and he happy Ash won fair and square today. The two shake hands, and Gary promises to cheer for Ash is his next match.
Next day Harrison choose Kalceon and Ash choose Pikachu. Kalceon use Colour Abaility to dodge Quick Attack and use Lick to Pikachu but Pikachu dodge it and hide in grass. Then Kalceon use Psybeam and Lick to cut the grass but Pikachu grab his tounge and use Thundershock to knock out Kalceon and he successful.
Harrison then sends out Sneasel, the same one he captured before the tournament opened. Pikachu uses another Thunderbolt, but Sneasel dodges and uses a Metal Claw, knocking out Pikachu. Ash takes a second to collect Pikachu from the field, then sends outTotodile. Totodile uses Water Gun, but Sneasel attempts to use Metal Claw, but Sneasel is bitten on the arm by Totodile. Totodile finishes Sneasel with its tail, leaving Sneasel unable to continue the battle.
Harrison chooses Hypno to fight next. Totodile uses Scary Face, but Hypno is totally unfazed by the attack. Hypno then uses Hypnosis, taking full control of Totodile. Next Hypno uses a Psychic attack to send Totodile flying, knock out.
Ash sends out Snorlax, but Snorlax appears to be sleeping peacefully. Hypno use Hypnosis, Hypno takes advantage of the situation by using Dream Eater on Snorlax. This soon however unintentionally wakes Snorlax up, as it is angry at having its dreams stolen & Ash's further illustrates the point by making a remark about Snorlax's angry expression. Hypno is then blasted by a Hyper Beam and is knocked out.
Harrison choose Steelix, Snorlax prepares to use its Hyper Beam, but Steelix binds Snorlax up. Steelix use Crunch before Snorlax use Ice Punch to be free from Steelix's Bind. Snorlax proceeds to knock Steelix by Hyper Beam.
