Chapter 3: Beginnings _-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_

It had been two months since the incident on Aldor Rise; Cerana had moved from Shattrah City since then, preferring the great plains of Nagrand. The lush wildlife reminded her distinctly of her birthplace without the everlasting night to accompany it. It suited the twilight haired elf just fine; she enjoyed the sun much more than any of her kin - an oddity among elves as it were.

Now Cerana was safely ensconced on her bed, surrounded by leather, thread and netherweave in her room at the Inn in Telaar. It struck her as odd that she spent so much time devoted to her trade rather than adventuring like her guild members. Shrugging it off she looked at her bedside table and let out a frustrated sigh; it was covered with parchment that was littered with drawings.

In the two months since her first real kiss, she hadn't been able to cast it from her mind. Lo'jin waited for her dreams to consume her and was always there- waiting, progressing with her further, getting to know her. Feeling a blush creep up her neck, she shook her head, rumpled hair falling out of her braids further as she picked up a picture. Cerana studied the portrait, his knowing red eyes, broad tusks, red Mohawk, blue skin and all of the hard muscles she'd felt when pressed to his chest.

"Mooning over a troll is notgoing to help me with the tasks at hand!" She chastised herself, throwing the parchment atop a pile of netherweave and standing, leaving her room in a frustrated huff. Not acknowledging the bartender or other staff, she strode with purpose to the stables to get her spotted night saber. She was a gentle thing, just hard to understand at times.

"Hello girl," Cerana whispered, taking a brush from her pack and running down the saber's side "let's go feel the wind in our hair yeah?"

Cale'inja nodded her favor to the plan; Cerana finished grooming her and mounted, urging her out of the stables. They nearly flew over the countryside, the wind taking Cerana's usually pristine braids and unraveling them completely, and her crimped hair flying out behind her in a curtain.

Loud, full-bodied shrieks of joy flowed from her mouth. She rode without care, letting Cale'inja take her where she would. They flew through Halaas, the alliance troops paying the duo little attention. She passed by many adventurers before coming to a languid stop just outside of the Seat of the Elements.

Lo'jin sat just a few hundred yards from Cerana on the other side of the lake. He'd seen her ride, carefree and wild across the plains, the beauty of her vibrant violet skin paired with long, twilight blue hair and facial tattoos. But the she-elf's crowning glory, in Lo'jin's opinion was her eyes and lips. Curved with the precision of the finest bow, soft and full - the lips of that she-elf had become is haunting dream, and the eyes! Cerana had eyes of the purist silver he'd ever come in contact with.

Petting he Raptor, Bazz and nodded toward the serene Kal'dorei. Bazz looked and made a menacing noise in the back of its throat, earning him a reproachful look from his owner. Huffing he bumped his head against Lo'jin's shoulder.

"We be goin' ova dere, Mon" Lo'jin commented, saddling the Raptor with ease. "Yeh best be bahavin' ya-self. Ah got designs on dat she-elf. Don't be fightin' 'er mount!"

His mount now thoroughly warned, Lo'jin mounted and steered the Raptor around the lake behind Cerana. Slowing some distance from her, he dismissed Bazz and stalked up to her silent as the grave.

When he was upon her, Lo'jin found her sprawled on the plain floor, eyes closed soaking in the heat. Naked of her adventuring gear, he took the opportunity to study her exposed arms, hands, midsection and legs.

'A beauty indeed.' He mused, kneeling beside her and swiftly picking her up into a strange cross between a hug and intimate cuddle.

Cerana squawked with indignation, bringing her fiery magic to the surface of her skin, ready to fry whomever had taken hold of her person so rudely. Turning her face up to at least look at her attacker, Cerana sucked in an astonished breath to see the very subject of her dreams looking down at her, a jaunty smirk gracing his face.

"Ya gonna try to blast me again Mon?" He teased, bringing them to stand before each other.

"Lo'jin?" She questioned, tilting her head up again, feeling completely dwarfed by the fact Lo'jin stood at a towering nine feet tall compared to her own six and nine inches.

"Dat be my dam gurl." He affirmed, smiling as the wind took Cerana's hair, sliding it across her body in a most complimenting manner.

"How is it at all possible you would find me here, more than two months after..."

"Shattrah? Gurl, I be a shadow priest, I travel loads, lookin' to make a name for mah-self"

Having the grace to blush at her obvious lack of deduction skills, Cerana turned away and smoothed her hair back into a makeshift ponytail, using her own hair to tie it.

"And what of your companion- the Sin'dorei?" She queried, a hard edge to her voice.

"Not mah companion, he be mah commanding officer in guild wo'man. Haven't talked tah him since ah kissed yah, Mon."
