A long awaited arrival
He got to his feet and shut the large oak door. The night had brought many feelings with his arrival. She didn't know what to think. Why was he here now? Why didn't she just ask him? She wouldn't bend to his will. This was her house, and not some filthy jail cell.
He walked over to her. "I'm sorry I took so long" he said kneeling to see her eyes. She was sitting in the large green chair where she had been counting her money. "Keep your apologies" She said. She was bitter, and he could easily tell. "When you left, I didn't want to spend a day without you, you were the most glorious woman I had ever met. You were a goddess in my eyes and I needed to be with you. I escaped 2 days later with the lock pick you had given me." He said putting his large callused hands on her lap, hoping for some sign of trust, yes they had only met once, but their is honor among thieves right?
"It takes a month by horse to reach Anvil. And you've been gone for four. I went back to Bruma, I had the money, I was going to get you and you left me without any hint of your return!" She said standing and walking away from him. She wouldn't cry, Why don't I just kill him? she questioned herself not sure of the answer. "I had to detouring, I had made it to Chorral and the guards had heard of me. I then went to the Imperial city and blended in there. They had too many problems to be looking for one man. I waited there till the news of a new thief in Bruma had reached the Imperial city, I knew I was in the clear and began my journey to see you. You had never left my mind the entire time. I wanted you in my arms again." He said with the saddest green eyes she'd ever looked at. He was being so concerned for a Nord, and a man for that matter. "It had been 3 months when I reached Skingrad. I had almost given up hope of you even remembering a one night stand from a jail cell. You were so mysterious, I had wondered how many men you seduced to get at their fortunes" he said this part slowly. "You think I am some Harlot? Who uses her looks to gain the gold and not her skills? I should cut your throat right now!" She said enraged that he would think such things about her. "I didn't mean like that! And I was desperate to have a sign that you would still be in Anvil waiting for me. It was after spending 2 weeks in an inn that I had heard of a beautiful Dunmer in Anvil who had saved the marriages of men by killing a group of bandit women who were seducing men and stealing their money. The men at the Inn were rather descriptive of this Dunmer. Saying she was a beauty of no comparison and I knew it was you. I then came as soon as I could to see you, and now I am here, and I am all yours."
It was true, she had killed that band of sluts, but she didn't reliese she was becoming as infamous as that, because little did Jorundr know... She was the thief from Bruma as well.
She got to her knees, to look Jorundr in the eyes this time. Infront of the fire, she caught his lips with hers and softly spoke "I'm sorry for doubting you"
