Detrin's sleepy large red eyes batted back and forth between his father and the strange man with blue hair. Detrin wasn't exactly worldly or considered anything above the average son of a high-bloodline...and to top it off, he was only 5 years old, but he knew what nurse meant, and gave a nod. "Yes, daddy.." he let go of his father's lower half, then turned his attention to Fayt. Fayt stared at the little boy, and only blinked as Detrin raised his arms up to be picked up, as was a nurse's duty to him. Fayt eyed Detrin, then Albel, then smiled back down at the little boy. He kneeled down to one knee and patted the little boy's head. "I'm not your nurse, I'm your dad's friend..." Fayt tried to explain, but it fell on deaf ears. Detrin put his arms down, not really understanding then turned to his father. He gave a few tugs on Albel's hakama while pointing at Fayt with his other small hand. "Beat him."
Fayt's eyes got big and he glared at Albel as he stood up. His green eyes flickered as if telling Albel he was welcome to try. A smirk came across Albel's lips and he chuckled lightly, apparently proud of his child at the moment. However, Albel was never one to fight someone else's battles for them. He looked back down at Detrin, removing the small hand carefully off of his clothing. "He's your servant, Detrin...so you have to beat him." The little boy gave a pout, but nodded, turning to Fayt with a disgruntled look on his face. Fayt looked at the little boy with his arms crosses and an eyebrow raised as he leaned on the balcony railing. Albel took this position as well, watching in complete amusement. Detrin stomped over to stand in front of Fayt, pointing a finger at him. "I demand you obey, servant" he said, his voice a bit louder. He was obviously copying his mother, for his other hand was placed on his hip and his chest was poked out. Fayt stared at the little commander...then smirked as well, leaning his face down at him. "Make me, shrimp."
Detrin's expression changed to moderate fear, but as he looked up at his father for help, Albel didn't make a move. The little boy gulped, then regained his stance. He shut his eyes as he swung his pointing hand, making contact with Fayt's cheek. The small thwacking sound make Detrin jump and he reopened his eyes. Fayt's face had not moved or even flinched as he was slapped by the child. His expression did change to one of disappointment, and Detrin's hand slid down. The little boy looked terrified as if he knew that he was in trouble and tears started to form. He tried to back off slowly, then make a run for back inside the room, but he wasn't quick enough. Fayt had caught him, picking him up, and more thwacking noises could be heard as Fayt took the boy inside and promptly spanked him on the bed. Detrin yelled out in pain, then curled up on his stuffed toy dragon to weep in shame. Fayt didn't say anything to him, he just tucked Detrin in gently then petted the little boy's hair and back to soothe him.
Fayt knew that in this world, Detrin's noble bloodline would have given him the right to do as he did...and he really couldn't be truly mad at his behavior, however, Fayt would not tolerate this. He was not a servant to anyone, nor did he believe that this manner of treating other people as property was acceptable...that was the way he was brought up. When Detrin's loud sobbing started to soften, Fayt got off of the bed and went back to Albel, who was watching the entire scene from the balcony. He hadn't much of an expression on his face. The smirk had faded, and he watched Fayt come up to him. Fayt closed the sliding window behind him carefully, then made a roundhouse backhand to Albel's face. Albel grunted as his face was struck, turning it to the side and kept his eyes down, preparing himself for one of Fayt's rants on his behavior.
However when he didn't hear anything, he finally turned to face Fayt, who had turned his attention to trying to calm himself down and stare at the endless night sky. The moon's glow paled Fayt's face, but only made his green eyes stand out more and shine brighter. After a moment of staring at this porcelain face, Albel wanted those eyes to look at him. "Is that it?" Albel finally spoke up, wanting attention. He wanted Fayt to look at him...Fayt obliged for a second, turning just his eyes to look at Albel then looked away again. "Is that it, what?" he asked back, a sting still in his voice. Albel's narrowed and he grabbed Fayt's arm, the one that struck him only moments ago. "You're just going to hit me and not say anything?" Albel growled. Fayt looked at him again, turning his body to face the man and pulled his arm away. After it got free, he gave Albel a light push to get some distance between them. "What the hell do you want me to say?" he yelled, but in a whisper. He was struggling to keep his voice down. "You tell me you're married with a kid, then say I'm his servant! What...when...WHY didn't you tell me you had a family??!" Fayt snapped at the claw-armed man. "I don't know what in the God's is going on in that caveman head of yours but I'm NO ONE's God's damn servant or NURSE!" Fayt continued, obviously more upset that Albel called him someone's nurse, then anything. "Do you expect me to breast feed him or something??"
Albel had a hard time understanding some of Fayt's slang words again. Caveman went over his head entirely, for Fayt knew that he lived in a mansion or at the castle. "I have no idea what my housing has to do with anything, which, I hardly live in anything to be considered to be a Cave...and of course not. Detrin is well past the age of breast feeding..." he scoffed, now satisfied that Fayt was looking at him. Fayt was going to yell more, but Albel's word completely put him in a position that he had no idea what to say. "...I..what?" Fayt calmed down and stared at him. He sighed deeply, throwing his hands up in the air. "We'll talk about this later..." the blue hairred man grumbled, turning his back to Albel as he slid the window to the room back open. Albel was now upset, and grabbed Fayt's arm again, but Fayt easily slipped out of it. "I'm going to bed. We'll discuss this in the morning" he snapped at Albel then turned to walk back into the room.
