So we finally meet...

Disclaimer: You know the drill. I no own Zelda. You no sue me.

A/N: Good thing for me that I had a hard copy of majority of what's written so far. My computer discs didn't have this chapter so I had to go paper diving through my pack rat little room and nearly died from balancing binders and sketchbooks.

Mithos is the only character I own in this story. Everything else belongs to Nintendo. *grumbles over the fact that she'd replace Zelda with herself to be saved by Link and make Shiek an actual guy if she ever actually owned Zelda* Granted I'd also be plotting with Ganondorf.

Do I have to put this down?

Pairing: Zelda/Mithos

Now on with the show!

Chapter 3

************************************************************************************

Guards opened the gates, allowing the crown Princess of Hyrule and her entourage of guards into thir fortress. The first of the desert amazons to greet her majesty was Nabooru, a sage in her own right. The scarlet haired woman motioned for some of the others nearby to care for the horses that were ridden in by the Hylians.

"Princess! It has been some time since I've seen you. You're doing well I presume?"

The blonde had nodded, smiling to the Gerudo. "Yes I am feeling quite wel. I have actually come on the business fo speaking with this man who claims to be your king. Only to ensure the peace between our people."

"Of course. Mithos has been wanting to meet with you about that for some time. I trust that this meeting is due to his message from this morning."

Zelda placed a hand over the pendant, hoping that Nabooru did not know of the king's gift. The sage of spirit had taken Zelda's free hand, guiding her into the stone complex. "What is the story behind this man? Why do you view him as your king?"

Nabooru smiled, her hips swaying with each step. "Long ago when the Goddesses created this land, Din came to the Gerudo people when she was pregnant. My ancestors cared for her until her son was born. She had then blessed my people, saying that only one male shall be born into our race every one hundred years. Once the king of the Gerudo is gone, her son would come to take his place and rule until the next king. Normally, he stays in secret, but he seems adamant about showing himself to apologize for Ganondorf's folleys."

Winding stone passageways and guards around every corner. Even though there were few threats to the desert tribe, they still kept strong security. Only one man had ever breached their defences. Link, the Hero of Time. Zelda held her breath when they finally stopped before on room that was sealed from their sight by an ornate door. Nabooru looked to the blonde princess. "This is where he is. I'll leave you to speak with him."
Once the amazoness sage had disappeared from her sight, Zelda pushed the door open, what greeted her was a shock from her dreams.

The stone walls of the Gerudo fortress were covered by rare and finely made tapestries. The Golden Goddesses covered a few of them, Gerudo warriors and past kings also decorated the pieces of cloth that were hung against the walls. Torches were lit to keep a warm and alluring glow throughtout the room. Upon the bed in the middle of the room, against the different coloured pillows and silken ebony sheets, lay the Gerudo King. The mysterious man of the desert storms. A man she remembered only from her dreams. His golden seemed to pierce through to her soul, even with crimson locks covereing one from her sight.

"My my, what a surprise. The Princess of Destiny within the chambers of a simple king of the desert? What special occasion is it?" That same voice from her dreams, dancing about her mind and making the princess weak in the knees. Shaking her head, a cold look crossed her features, she was not about to let herself be beaten.

"King Mithos. I am Princess Zelda of Hyrule. I have come-"

"Yes yes. I know who you are, princess. Your name is known all throughout Hyrule and your beauty preceeds your name and title. I'm amazed that the Goddess, Nayru, allowed her chosen one to model so closely in her image."

She froze before her eyes caught sight of the blue lighted goddess of Wisdom. A flowing blue gown and long blue that trailed behind her. Everything look like Zelda herself, but bathed in the calm sereity of the watery colour. Din, the fiery goddess of Power looked like a Gerudo warrior. FLaming red hair pulled back in a ponytail much resembling Nabooru's, a scimitar in her grip. The final goddess was that of Courage, Faore. She rested upon her knees in a green gown with leaves twisting around her body in some unseen wind.

"Beautiful, yes? My mother always favoured the Gerudos, never wanting them to falter in their strength."

Had Mithos spoken correctly? His mother? Which of the goddesses did he truly mean? The king had sighed, covering Zelda's shoulder with his hand. When did he leave his bed? While she gazed at the tapestry?

"Yes. My mother is a Golden Goddess, Din to be precise. I am not telling any lies when I tell you this. I came here to make sure that these women are being taken care of, never harmed by any of the other races. They are my mother's favourite race, while Nayru favours the Hylians and Faore favours the Kokiri. But protecting my mother's people is not my only reason for being here."

She took a deep breath before asking. "And what would be your other reason for coming here to Hyrule?"

Zelda was spun around, now facing the son of a goddess. His lips crushed themselves against her own. Eyes of sapphire widened in shock before the kiss ended. "That would be you, my fair princess. When I saw you trapped by Ganondorf, it broke my heart to see someone as beautiful as you caged up like some type of animal. I couldn't stand watching you as you waited for the Hero of Time to and rescue you before saving Hyrule from Ganondorf's evil. I had wished that I was the one to save you, not Link."

He seemed pained as he spoke, not wanting to remember the history he had known. Zelda could see the pain in his eyes, realizing the truth in words. She pushed away from him, wanting to leave before anything happened like in her dream. It was as she attempted to leave, did she feel a powerful hand upon her slim wrist. Mithos held her back, a fire in his eyes.

"Let go of me, Mithos. You have no methods to keep me against my will."

"Nothing is against your will. Everything that had happened was of your choice."

Taken aback, the princess recalled waht had happened in her dream. Every action was something she had agreed upon within her dream.

"That was nothing but a dream. A silly dream."

"You're wrong, Zelda. It was more than a dream So much more. I know because I had felt it. I can still feel it, even now."

With a meaningful glance in her direction, the princess understood what he meant. Her dream from that night was also known to him. Pieces of sexual lust were rising within her body. He seemed to catch this off of her body, wrapping a strong and well muscled arm around her waist to pull her close, launching her onto the bed. Just before she could lift herself up, her body was pressed into the pillows. Warm breathing upon her neck was felt as a warm tongue trailed over the skin. Again, the voice that caused lust to swell within her body.

"I won't force anything upon you, Zelda. But your dreams were like every other prophetic dream that you have ever had."

Those words caught her attention as she looked up. Mithos had stopped, watching like a wolfos stalking it's prey, waiting to strike at the proper moment. Her chest rose and fell with every breath, she was already missing the weight of his body and the feel of his skin. Finally her courage was regained. She pulled the gloves from her hands, tossing them aside to the floor.

"If you know what my dream was, then you would know what to do."

Mithos merely chuckled under his breath before his lips caught her neck. "Too true my darling Zelda. I aided in the creation of your dream, but you created the rest of it."

A/N: Dun dun duuunnnnnn..... Cliffhanger! I started writing the next chapter, which I will do my best to make it a mindblowing smut chapter. Granted my muse is sort of not on hand at this moment in time. My own personal Link (a.k.a. boyfriend that looks like a hybrid between Link, Cloud from FFVII, and Tidus from FFX) is not on hand for me to molest so I'll do my best to think of a good smut scene from my memory. *grins* I have a photographic memory, I think it's either digital or I just don't have any film in it.
