Snake walked in the snow for what seemed like hours. He passed a small gate and into a cemetary. He walked around for a minute and spotted the grave he wanted and walked over to it.
"Damn." Snake sat down next to the stone and pulled out a smoke "I did it Otacon. Ocelot is dead. I shot him. So maybe now I can tell you what I always wanted to tell and never could. I think I couldn't tell you because I was afraid that you would run from me."
He lurched forward. The make-shift wrap on his stomach wasn't holding very well.
He looked at the ground, lit it, and sighed "I always wanted to make you mine. I would have left this and gladly put this behind me if.." He lurched forward and grunted blood came from his mouth. He wiped it away and took another drag "I have to make this quick because I haven't much time" he laughed to himself "If you only knew how much I love you." He looked at the stone that was near him and smiled "I gues I finally did get to tell you."
"I wanted to tell you everything after the Plant incident. But, you were so crushed with what happened to E.E. that I didn't think it was right. It just wasn't the right time to say anything about anything, I guess. You know I have never been good talking about how I feel But I felt comfortable with you."
He put out his cig and laughed "You were a good man,Otacon. Eveyone remembers what you have done to save this world. They talk about it all the time. But you never let it get to you."
He coughed again and wiped the blood away. Snake laid his head down on the stone and closed his eyes "Hal..."
It started to snow harder and the wind picked up.
A few days later after the snow and ice began to melt the gravetaker found the body of a man.
"This man had no name, no past, and no history. The body was never identified.So,it was laid next to the grave the body was found on." The gravetaker said to the press.
Over in the corner and blonde man stood and smiled to himself "Well, Snake you finally are with him" He turned around and started to walk away.
He walked past both stones and looked at both of them "Snake, I will make you and Otacon proud." Raiden knelt down and laid his hands on the two stones "I might not have known you for a long time but you two made everyhting I do worth it all."
He stood up and pulled out his gun "It's time to finish this."
