It has been six month since the Death Egg incident. Knothole II, the new base of the freedom fighters, has been up and semi-running for around 4 months. It was around 1800 hours, and the usual players were sitting in Sentinal's quarters playing poker.

the island as he went back to Packbellotropolis.

A few days later, another distress signal was sent, this time Sally and a handful of the freedom fighters went to the island.

"There must be something new controlling these Borg drones." Sentinal said.
"We must end this now before the collective do anymore damage." Sally said. It had been Riley, much to Sentinal's distaste, who came up with a plan for Sally to infiltrate the cube and take out the leader.

"You have not gotten her yet?" the hooded figure said now pissed off.

"Huh, he'll pay for his stupidity. I will learn to go to all of the timelines and rule time itself." Packbell said.
"We have Lastator." the collective said.
"Good, have Nicole bring her in here." Packbell said. He saw his android bring in Sally. "So you wanted to stop me. Well, you'll be surprised to see who I am." He said spinning around to face her.
"Packbell...but you're supposed to be in Packbellotropolis." Sally said confused.
"I'm from another timeline in which I was defeated by you animals. The "supreme" ruler of the Borg rebuilt me, but I'm going to turn on him, so that now I will be able to rule Mobius." Packbell said.
"Over my dead positronic brain," the original Packbell said coming through the mainframe computer.
"You, you inferior model, I shall assimilate you!" the other Packbell said.
"You can't assimilate me, and I beg to differ, you're the inferior model because you had to have someone fix you when you were defeated." the first Packbell said, and attacked his counterpart. Meanwhile, Sally deactivated Nicole and ruptured a coolant pipe. The two Packbells' bodies were destroyed. Then the cube came to life and was preparing to leave Mobius for its home base.
"I suggest that you get off that cube. Its destination is not one that you would want to be. This is the only time I will
help you. I've gone through all the data and apparently a Mobian has control of the Queen." Packbell said in her mind. She started to head for the nearest jump out point, but she was beamed away onto Sentinal's ship.
"I thought Riley was supposed to pick me up." Sally said.
"She had no intention of getting you. I will not tell you why that is so right now. I doubt you want to hear that right now. Now, let's see what's wrong with our android friend." Sentinal said opening up Nicole's head.
"I did not know you had experience in positronic technology." Sally said.
"Yep, my brain has a positronic shell surrounding the tissue. Ah, this is a faulty chip. It has no moral code algorithms. This is something I can fix." he said putting the chip into his computer to make the appropriate adjustments.

It was the sound of Sentinal's com-link going off.
"Yes," Sentinal answered.
"Sonic has just vanished. One second he was there, and then he just
vanished. A Borg transporter beam was detected in your room Sally, so I guess the Borg captured him. By the time we noticed what happened it was too late to do anything about it. We couldn't have our shields up because we still haven't figured out how to get them working without overloading the grid." Rotor said.
"Damn it, issue a code 5 security alert," Sally said.

On the Borg's mother ship, Sonic was laying in an alcove. As if something told him to wake up the hedgehog opened his eyes to a sight that he hoped to never see.

In the Great Unknown, a vast wasteland, a portal known as the void had been forced opened. Noggis, the creator of the void, felt it and then he and the other Acorns saw Joshua. To say that King Max was shocked was greatly understated.

"Oh no, I'll have to transfer..." he said and disappeared from the planet. Android Sonic was defeated as well. The war was over, or was it?
