CAMARILLA COURT
That very same night the Prince of Alamogordo had summon ever member of the Primogen to the Ventrue Grand Hall Building. The Prince, a French Ventrue born in 1499 had gotten word of the Sabbats’ plot to take over Alamogordo. In attendance are affiliates from the six clans of the Camarilla. They are all seated at a round table with each clan’s pictogram engraved, and the Prince is seated peacefully whispering into the ear of his sheriff.
“Good evening ladies and gentlemen of the Camarilla. You all must be wondering why I have called this gathering on such short notice. I can assure you this was of the utmost importance. The greatest enemies to the survival of the Camarilla and indeed to ourselves have plotted a plan to seize this city.” The Prince started to address the members of the primogen.
“Prince Marius, strange we have not discovered this plot through our spy network.” Lily replied keeping her repulsive face hidden in the shadows. The others members started to speak out loud as she said this. Marius nodded his head, listening to them all complain, he looked at the sheriff rolling his eyes.
“Yes. Yes I am fully aware of your failure. I have it from a very trustworthy source from within the Sabbat it self.” Marius finally replied after listening to them complains among themselves.
“It is very useful to have a spy among our enemy. But what should we do if that spy information still can’t aid us?” Leto of the noble clan of Tremere inquired. Marius’ expression never changed even while under fire, he was too aristocratic, of to high honor to allow the others to bring out his weakness.
“Mr. Leto as always we shall do everything within our powers to maintain the Masquerade. Our sheriff shall handle any matters with the Sabbat with great ease. Any other concerns?” Marius replied sounding very smooth and cool headed like a snake ready to strike out at it’s prey.
“You’re Lordship. What about the Anarchs in the city? Their numbers have grown somewhat.” A female vampire of distinguished figure asked, as she stroked her rose.
“The Anarchs will be dealt with shortly I reassure you Ms. Rice. If that is all I bid you good evening. “Marius replied standing up from his chair and bowing his head to each one of them. The others returned the kindly good bye to the Prince and exited the grand hall room.
Marius looked at the sheriff as he moved over to his throne. He took a seat and started to chuckle. The sheriff moved to stand before Marius and started to laugh too, as if they had something planned for the others. A ghoul entered the grand hall and bowed his head.
“The guests have departed the building my master. Is there any thing you require of me my master?” The ghoul spoke in a very low tone, his voice a mixture of fear and humility.
“No you are free for the night my humble servant. Make sure you are back here tomorrow evening. We have some dinner dates that I must attend as a member of the city.” Marius replied waving his hand, dismissing the ghoul.
“Prince Marius, I had the police chief increase patrols of all areas where the Sabbat may use as a haven. I have also increased patrols in the Anarchs areas of the city.” The sheriff reported as he lit up a cigarette.
“Sheriff Jackson I entrust you with this responsibility. Do not disappoint me Jackson! Because if you do I vow that you will be acquainted with anguish.” Marius plainly stated to Jackson, as he turned his focus onto other matters at hand. Jackson did not reply to what the prince had told him, he only bowed his head then walked away.
